WRITERS!!!

Take a time to read this. Very important!!

I'm proposing this opportunity to all writers out there who have been told or made to believe that they are not good enough or writers who love a sense of community and support.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once you have read, understood, and shown interest, you will be added to a group with other interested writers.

We will all contribute to creating anthologies of different themes for different audiences.

WHAT SORT OF WRITER IS IT FOR?
Writers who feel undervalued, isolated, unable to complete a project, and looking for an engaging community are all welcome.

WHAT'S EXPECTED OF YOU?
Your engagement,
Your cooperation,
Your transparency.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
• You get to work on smaller pieces that contribute to a larger output.

• Your work gets in front of more people because of the efforts of you and other writers.

• Should the anthologies earn from either a contest or sales, you get your royalty shares.
(This isn't the main priority, and you shouldn't entirely depend on this. If all you appreciate in the art is its financial capabilities, yeah, you can sit this one out.)

DEADLINE?
After the first twenty writers, I'm closing the opportunity. I'll be extending to the poets and artists soon for more spread of authenticity, but for now, we'll make do of just 20 writers.

Reply to this post if you're interested, and I'll contact you through private message for the processes or ask your questions, if you have any. See you soon.

"If all you can appreciate in the art is its financial capabilities, yeah, you can sit this one out."
I am a writer that feels undervalued and isolated, but this line rubs me the wrong way. Writers should not feel ashamed for expecting compensation for their hard work.
This listing feels like the, "you'll be paid with exposure" line I've seen in many other applications, especially with "your work gets in front of more people". Who's to say the anthologies will take off online because it happens to come from a group of writers?
I understand money is tight, and to compensate 20 writers would be asinine to expect from one person.
But as you have asked of writers like me to take the time to read this. Now I ask of you to perhaps reflect a little more on why writers would turn away if there isn't financial compensation for their work. The satisfaction of a job well done doesn't fill an empty stomach.
Either way, I wish you success in this collaboration project. These are my two cents.

I am a writer that works very hard and finds it difficult to offer any of my stories for free. You know why? Because I work way too hard for even a 5k word story, and other things I'm working on like promoting and growing my newsletter.

That line is to clarify that I do not promise you money or in this case 'instant money'. Most writers will join thinking I'm an online superstar offering free promotion.

This listing is not only about the exposure but rather the effort of more than a dedicated person. We all work together, encourage ourselves, promote ourselves, and anything related.

#

If a writer don't mind joining a group of writers to pull projects together, that's fine.

Getting discouraged because you aren't getting paid as soon as you join is what I'm trying to avoid here.

#

Concerning the lack of compensation for a writer's hardwork no matter how good, I've got a whole autobiography on that.

To make thing clearer (everyone): I did not say a writer should feel terrible for exchanging their art for money. I am a writer, and I will never say such a thing.

The reason I created the group was to gather writers who are willing to work with others and to have an engaging community.

I don't want anyone to have the mindset that this is a 'get rich quickly as a writer' thing.

What I can offer you is my unwavering support for every one of us. The success we want unfolds as a result of our collective efforts. If you don't believe in this approach in any way, it's okay. I respect your decision.

Read your other post and am responding to this one due to the project in this one. I'm unsure of my ability to complete projects on my own at this time and have interest in being part of a group.

However I also noted that you mention wanting to add poets later on and have a bigger interest in that, will you still be doing that? If so, I think I'd prefer to wait, so as to not give myself too much work.

Reaching out to ensure you know I have interest in your project.
