Hi there!

I'm Matt, the creator of CineRPG - a new volunteer-led community cinema that blends the magic of films with the immersive experience of TTRPG.

https://www.cinerpg.com

I am currently seeking volunteer support across a variety of areas (see below) to contribute towards this unique project. Our goals are focused towards the reduction of social isolation, education in film and game, and developing creative skills related to fandom culture.

I would love to hear from you! I am looking to connect with talented individuals from the Ko-Fi community who are interested in sharing their advice, skills, talent, and expertise in one (or more) of the following areas:

TTRPG
LARP
Podcasting
Video
Editing
Cosplay
Prop Creation
Music and Sound
Graphic Art
Performance Art
Film Analysis
Online Moderation
Content Streaming
Licensing
Social Media
Marketing

CineRPG will operate as a pop-up event (once every two months on-site in the UK) and will maintain a weekly programme online, offering community members workshops, lectures, screenings, game previews and other events.

I am in conversation with various publishers, distributors, artists, and gaming representatives to deliver our first hybrid event on the 7th of July. It will include a film screening, game demo, and creative workshops (both on-site and online).

There is no deadline — this is a first outreach and opportunity to connect, discuss the project further, see if it resonates with you, and determine what you would like to contribute.

This is an unpaid role — we are all volunteers and CineRPG operates in aid of charities. Tickets to our events are "Pay-What-You-Can" to reduce barriers to access screening experiences and to create greater opportunities to belong.

The project has received a launch grant of £300 from Cinema for All and the British Film Institute, which mostly covers film license, venue hire, and media player. The rest of the budget is coming from my own pocket.

Here is a link to our constitution outlining our commitment to social, cultural, and educational impact for your consideration:

If interested (or curious), simply say "Hi" in the comments, tell me a bit more about yourself, what you do, and the type of skills you wish to share as part of the project.

Thank you in advance for your time and kind consideration,

Matt
