I was thinking this too, It would be awesome if there were travel portals around the land that needs to be repaired (with resources) that allow us to travel to and from home to the points.
Maybe there could be events that break them and the community has to work together to repair them.

not convinced about teleports to everywhere but for some things you have to travel a long way. For example to by seeds from Hazel I need to go from my house on a balloon then run to the sky tram and wait for that to take me to hanging gardens, then run a long way to Hazel... Going direct from house to hanging gardens would be a start... or being able to buy seeds in Loftia even when Hazel is in Hanging Gardens?

Once you finish the main quests Hazel goes back to Loftia and you can purchase from either locations at any time

You can go from hhanging gardens to your house and back as long as you dont teleport anywhere else i between. Same with gridfall. The local balloons take you to your house and back
