Hello, good morning. Has anyone else experienced a bug on their island? A friend of mine can't see any of the plants she planted, nor the crafting tables. She's restarted, closed the game, and still nothing is happening.

I have the same problem. I went to my island and all my stuff got combined with a friends leaving my island with just the house. But now its not on their island or mine and all my house decor is gone. (rip the capybara i got)

there was also an announcement for a patch at 3pm est today and that is one of the things they are going to try and stop from happening

New patch would only fix this particular one from happening again in the future, not solve the cases where it already happened, unfortunately, really sorry about that!
So if you see a new thing vanish from your island after the patch, that hadn't been lost before the patch, let us know!

Is there anyway I could get my items back (or at least the ones I got from finishing the mainquest like the capybara?)

pretty good chance if you upgrade your island/house it will reclaim it for you, I think?
I forget, haven't tried that one recently
I promise, even if you can't find your betabara, it is still tied to your account so you will get it for release!
next week I'm going to build some support tooling that lets us grant items to people as needed, so if you can't get things back hit me up later next week and I can try to just give you extra copies of the stuff you are missing

i upgraded it to medium, but unfortunately it didn't work

try going back down
going up you always have enough space for existing items so the 'reclaim items' logic doesn't run, but when you go down it needs to grab things that might be invalid so it triggers that

my 2x2 farm plot was gone when I logged in just now (was there when I logged out last night) I cant even place a new one because it still thinks I have 2 placed when there is only one there
