Rugs placeable under furniture

I wish we could place rugs under furniture like tables or chairs.

I wonder if it was glitching so they temporarily took it out? Changing the color of my house made it so my table was too close to the wall and had to be moved lol. It wouldn't let me put it in the same spot after it was destroyed

I just realized that you can put the rug down first and then add stuff on top. It would be nice to be able to add the rug last though

I just got back to my house and the rug disappeared. It's not even in my inventory but idk if it will do that everytime

I saw a rug under furniture in one of the show houses so I put another rug under stuff in my house. I'll try to remember to update if it disappears again
