Reading Dyskolos: Very slapstick humor—Monty Python vibes. I'd wanna see this performed fs.
Jazz listening sheet: I didn't find this exercise particularly enjoyable or helpful, but it was neat to spend some time focusing on the pitch and levels of the track.
PoE Reading: Well that was really long and dull...jk it was quite nice I liked it. Very informative and thorough insight into education. I could see myself using this as a resource for teaching in the future.
Reading Pseudolos: Also another one that would be funnier in performance. A lot of witty humor and mistaken identity. I liked it.
Write prospectus! : I enjoyed this assignment a lot more than I thought I would. It's been so much fun researching my topic. I even got to the point where I felt sad I had to be under the page count and couldn't include everything I found. It promises to be a really fun and interesting paper topic!
finish PoE reading for Monday: I freaking hate Rousseau so reading this other guy was a relief—thank God there are still sane scholars in the world.
Watch P&P 2005: Didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would. Camera work needed some help. I liked Mr. Collins and Mrs. Bennett in this version. I still think Kiera Knightley could close her mouth when she’s not talking (what who said that), but she wasn’t bad as Lizzie—just not as good as the BBC imo.
