I'm trying to use folder sharing in casa os and it doesn't seem to work. I'm trying to connect via windows 10. I've tried enabling SMB support in windows, that doesn't work.

It's a change to the Microsoft OS. Another way of working around this is to add an app like Nextcloud and manage your shares through that. That will allow you to limit access to specific users / manage permissions etc.
