Ubuntu casaos install seems to be working fine. I am trying to install Tailscale via the custom install. I have followed a couple of different tutorials that are pretty old, tried the docker command lines from the Tailscale site, and fiddled with the settings. I always get the "unable to get image...." error message and it will not install. Can I install Tailscale on the root Ubuntu outside of cassos and have it work with casaos? Are there updated instructions somewhere? As an aside for this, I cannot get into the Terminal login inside casaos due to all logins that I know of fail. I have seen some solutions to this but they do not work as well... I am on the v.4.6 of casaos. Any help is appreciated.

I have tried this... I am completely unable to get the Terminal login to work. I have tried casaos, casaos; my casaos admin password; my Ubuntu root user and pw; and none of them work so i cannot complete the setup.
I even reset my Ubuntu root password in case that was the user/pw combo... no luck. Is there a way to reset the Terminal user/pw combo?
Aha... I have found that the ssh server was not installed on the default Ubuntu install. After $sudo apt-get install openssh-server The terminal now opens
Thanks for the nudge and previous help. I will now try the Tailscale install
I was able to get Tailscale installed on my server and my phone. However, the last few steps in the above video are very unclear. I am not able to access the casaos from my phone from 4G. It works fine when I am on my home network. There must be a couple of additional steps to complete the use.
GG @crisp walrus, you just advanced to level 2!
I went through every step. You would need the Tailscale client on your phone then go to the tailnet ip.
In the last part of the video, you seem to be using the cursor to go to the top of a window to reveal the settings for Tailscale within the casaos window. I do not see how to do this. I cannot see the Tailscale client settings anywhere on the casaos server. The machine does show up in the Tailscale admin console window and shows as running. There must be something I am doing wrong to not see the Tailscale client settings.
After adding a subnet routing and broadcasting the cassaos IP on the casaos Tailscale, I can now put in my casaos IP and get to casaos. This appears to be different from what is in your video. This is on Ubuntu and a Thinkpad laptop.
