Cannot access terminal even if the user and pass are correct

I'll have to get hardware info when home but it's an old hp laptop

Uninstalled openssh and reinstalled and seems to be working now

having the same issue on ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS, and i can ssh to the ubuntu from other computer, but getting the same error when using the casaos dashboard.

im confused about what is the correct username and password as well, as i check in other post pointing the username and password are either casaos : casaos or root : casaos , both have been checked with no success
