I've had a working bot for a while that connects to VC's and transcribes audio to help moderate and facilitate debates.

It seems that as a result of Discord's DAVE upgrade to end-to-end encryption, it will crash regularly. This will present 4006 errors or List index out of range problems in the library that mean the bot goes deaf and mute.

For a while I could find server regions to move the VC to that would work, but now it rarely works at all cos all/most regions are now on DAVE meaning my voice bot can't connect at all.

Is there a plan to start upgrading to use the DAVE thing? It's going to be mandatory by March, it seems.

Which version of pycord do you use

Sorry should've said. I try 2.6.0, and the new 2.7.0rc2 same issue

I totally thought I was doing that by just updating the pyproject.toml, but it turns out I wasn't and the master HAS fixed it. Thank you so much sorry for being a noob.

rc2 is different from the master branch

so chances are its not in rc2 then but will be in rc3 / release
