I am almost certain that the integration of advancement triggers would aid in Heracles quest creation, as it somewhat implements mod integration assuming this supposed mod has its own advancement triggers.

Heracles already has advancement task types... they are satisfied by the chosen advancement being granted to the player.

#

For an example, they work well for the bulk of the the Spectrum quests in AoF7.

I meant more so like advancement triggers not neccesarily advancements themselves

tbh, I'm unclear on the difference.

well,
advancements are marked as complete once their triggers are completed, these triggers can be something like going to structure X or killing enemy X a specific amount of times.

#

mods can make their own advancement triggers, for example, cobblemon adds triggers that check if you;ve interacted with a specific pokemon, or if you have a specific pokemon in your party

#

the workaround i have currently been using has just been simply making an advancement pack with these triggers, and once these supposed advancements complete, the related heracles quest will thusly, also be completed, which while it works, adds a lot to the work flow, and I just wanted to suggest this feature to help future modpack makers.

TY.

Sounds... a bit like the task types in Heracles... but maybe the set Heracles has now is more limited: KIll an Entity, Interact with an Entity, (Find a) Structure, Stat, etc.

If the compound task worked (fingers crossed it will in the not far future) that would have made for some nice compound tasks, I think.

The task types in heracles thus far work for a lot of things, but for some very niche things in certain mods that use advancement triggers, I end up having to make my own advancements for it
