#Buff Devicro more

Devicro got a buff of 1 HP last update, but he is still very weak. His ability still is awkward for scaling, and in general he performs worse than monch as monch gains an equal amount of attack (if he's your only sacrifice engine), gains attack immediately before attacking, making better use of it, and also gains eaten allies HP.

I suggest making Devicro gain allies attack when simply when they die instead of when sacrificed, which would allow you to block hits with shades and clunkers with attack while still scaling Devicro.

i honestly think groff needs stat buffs, baker needs an innate damage stat, and devicro needs a rework of his effect

#

i do not think devicro gaining attack from allies when they die is a good idea - that goes against the whole point of sacrificing (though so does snuffer but whatever)

#

i think devicro should gain frenzy when an ally is sacrificed

#

to be unique from monch

That would work too

# hexed mist It's as rare as 1 <:Icon_Frenzy:1127970687374610603> for each junk hit so I don'...

It's hard to do more than 1 junk play per turn, but multiple sacrifices can be done in multiple ways.
Plus the ways to adjust yellow numbers are equally accessible. I think this would scale faster.
It would also be more viable, imo, since you want to sacrifice anyway to advance your deck, so it slots into a strategy. Playing junk on your own unit is something you need to build and plan around

there's like 2 things that benefit from other things being sacrificed though

#

and one of them is devicro

#

which isn't worth

#

the sacrificing

#

unless you're already sacrificing for other reasons in which case he's never useful he's just there for the ride

I guess I don't see how this changes that to him being your carry in a meaningful way. It changes which charms you want (less focused on pomegranate, gnome, and moko, more on beetle, battle raspberry, etc) on him.
But he's still at his best as a piece in other sacrifice strategies (like monch), and only slightly better as your solo carry?
Would be a huge Baker buff.
I can also be mentally imagining it wrong. Theory gets hard

gnom

# craggy pond I guess I don't see how this changes that to him being your carry in a meaningfu...

it differentiates him from monch - and makes it easier to kill multiple different enemies with sacrifice, since you can only encounter pomegranate/gnome/moko charms once and you're not guaranteed any of them (plus literally any build benefits from those three, and monch is just a directly better target for those than devicro is)
it also synnergizes with baker & snuffer because he can actually utilize the damage increases from snuffer and baker gains a unit that benefits from sacrifices being made in a meaningful way (which at current using him with devicro isn't very useful)
