I don't think that it's a good idea. Most consume items are just better versions of normal items. Example with Shields.

  • Nutshell Cake :
Apply 9 Shield, -2 hp, Consume (total gain of 7)
  • Shell Shield : Apply 4 Shield.

-> If you do something like "Remove consume, -4 Effect", then you'd get 5 Shield -2 hp on Nutshell Cake. There's really no point in this. These cards would provide the same thing.
What makes Consume cards stand out is their one-time bursts.

I would see more use of a opposite of the lumin ring... just a plain -1 effect would be super good on some cards like clunkers that lose one scrap(heart) per action or blaze bom to use it purely offensively. It would also be great on trash generators that you don't want trash from like Folby, Scaven or maybe to lower bombom's self damage.

There's already Frostbite Shard that does that man x'D

That’s the only consumable item with a high enough value to make it worth such a charm. Most of the other consumables i looked up either don’t have a value (noomlin, masks, etc), or their values aren’t high enough to make the removal of consume while lowering their value worth it (suncream, frostbite shard, etc). The only other consumable items that have a high enough value are the aforementioned shell cake and dragon pepper, so there just isn’t a point of making such a charm if it applies to only those.

Maybe if there are more consumables with high values introduced in the future, i could see a bit of potential for such a charm. But with the current pool, it would only apply to like 3-4 items at most, which just doesn’t seem like enough to justify it.
