overburn is currently fairly weak compared to other gimmicks
i think the easiest way of improving it is to make the area damage (from when an enemy is killed by overburn) deal damage based on the amount of overburn the enemy had instead of max health

this would also make it a more interesting playstyle of whether or not to put all overburn on one enemy or spread it out since putting it all on one enemy is currently an extremely weak strategy

I could be very wrong on this, but I’m fairly curtain that the explosion damage is the amount of overburn the unit had.

I think you're confused, it already deals damage based on the overburn applied.

If you put 50 overburn on something with 30 health, it deals 50 damage to everything in the row

Yea overburn is great

Even in the last fights cause the enemies there have pretty low hp

I've been playing exclusively overburn strategies when I play shademancer and I would love more overburn support, but it's not so weak I don't think

it only deals it up to the health of the enemy, even if it has much higher overburn

Just tested it. It definitely deals as much damage as overburn is applied, even if that is above the max health.

Overburn is one of the best gimmicks, the big issue I have with overburn, is on the shell fight. You can't stack overburn to get a kill because they have so few health, but tons of shell.

In a way though it's good in shell fights as it can proc more often and get a lot of damage on those shells

There's a few effects that double overburn and those are completely useless in the shell fight. It makes one of the companions a dead draw. The candle still at least does 1 damage.

Only problem with overburn I’m having is if a card with overburn is damaged fatally it doesn’t trigger (cringe)
