#Display speed of all vehicles within view

That's an interesting idea, Sliicy! I think it'd be really cool to have a feature like that. Just to clarify, you're suggesting that Openpilot would display the speed of nearby vehicles, not just the one in front of you, right? That would require some advanced radar and sensor integration, but it could be a great addition to the system. I can see how it would be useful for drivers who want to anticipate traffic flow or be more aware of their surroundings. Have you thought about how this feature would be displayed on the dashboard or screen? Would it be a numerical display, or maybe some kind of graphic representation?
As you can see in this photo, there's a car in view with the speed already shown. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the model already knows the speeds of nearby cars.
I've seen a fork with speed and distance data for all cars detected on screen. It was an old fork tho, maybe twilsoncos fork? I agree though! It would be cool.
I've always thought it would be a cool SLC feature to average out the speeds of the detected cars and use that as your set speed to maintain traffic flow
