#Vehicle not stopping/slowing for parked car - openpilot identified with arrow

With the little green arrow…?
The model does not have any outputs for us to visualize if there’s a parked car to avoid or not, therefore there is currently no UI elements to display such behavior.
@kindred lance I am referencing the little arrow in the UI on the C3 that shows if it sees a car in front of you.
My apologies, may not be green lol (i'm colorblind)
It recognized a stopped car in front of me, with the arrow, but did not slow as it barreled towards it
You have not mentioned what car you have, and what longitudinal control you are using. Make sure you get yourself a role in #assign-yourself-a-role and #what-is-my-car
Lead detection is mostly model related, therefore it isn’t some thing we have full control of. Using DEC could help.
Were you using Dynamic Experimental Control?
No sir
Try turning it on along with Experimental Mode. Drastically changes how the car slows down for lead cars nicely.
Sounds good will do! 🙂 Thank you so much
Drive safe! Will close this for now as it’s a model related behavior.
