lead vehicle Chevron jumping around

When I have a lead vehicle the Chevron marking it jumps around. It will mark cars in other lanes, oncoming traffic on the other side of the median of interstates, signs, and even empty lanes. This is affecting longitudinal control sometimes. Sunnypilot will sometimes brake for no reason when marking things other than the lead vehicle. It will also accelerate into the lead vehicle and brake late getting to close.

That's definitely due to the radar points from the radar and/or the model. Are you able to replicate it every drive?

Replicates most driver. But not in every lead car. Sometimes it's solid and never wrong. But change lead car and it goes crazy.

Is it my radar maybe? Maybe something got up in there. We had a hard rain a few weeks ago. Not sure if this started before or after.

Very possible. Most Toyota use radar points from the radar and OP vision to verify lead, so if the radar points are iffy, it's possible.

Preserve that route and have all rlogs uploaded, and I can check the radar points later today.

Thanks for your help My problem is my emblem at the front of my car. Somebody swapped out and stole my original badge and replaced it with a non-collision badge. The part number is wrong. I pulled it off and now everything's working great. So I have to spend 2 to $400 on an OEM badge
