Biggest benefit of the armor is that it can help get past and counter constant juggle/edge guard pressure. But against most opponents, esp in 1v1s, the delay in the armor makes it too slow to actually do anything. If it comes in from start up, then it becomes the game changer it's trying to be

I'm Main Jason, the character himself was very mistreated since Season 1, literally when he came out all his hitboxes were poorly designed. At the beginning of the second season it was playable but after this literal patch the gameplay tries to dodge, give 4 hits, dodge and so constantly, forget about making combos with this character. WW and Superman are still Tier because once you hit it's very hard to get out, but I'm talking specifically about Jason-type characters, Jake is another example. Characters with very slow frames with this patch, making combos without being dodged after the fourth hit is like asking for a miracle

I'm watching your gameplay on youtube and you spam dodges. Be more mindful of your dodges, and be more mindful of your button presses in general because I also noticed that, even as morty, you swing at the air a lot for no reason and get yourself punished

sair on morty is a tool to catch dodges, if you're not drifting too far forward and they dode in through sair 1 you can turn around sair 2 and hit them after their dodge
