no offense but i played season 2 bg i belive the most than anyone, he was miserable to an unbeliabable degree, if you think he was peak you must have only played him in low ranks cause any good player would have shown you how unbeliabably bad he was, only 2 move combos, any projectile character would have destroyed you, arya and gizmo were practically unbeatable matchups, neutral air sucked, our neutral attack had and still have a complete area of missing hitbox that me and the number 1 bg in 2s reported and completely ignored us, we werent able to cancel jab after landing it into another move, cry was at its most useless point, our perks were and still are worthless, we were at our weakest while many others characters were at its peak

i think for a bg nerf they should reverse the 4 frame early cancel from up attack, before that buff the character was genuinely fun to play and no one was complaining about him

his combo list was so short and simple that i literally made a copypasta for anyone wondering about bg combos to share them with

cry needs two hits to cancel but now with the extra 18 frames on cancel it means that after two hits 18 frame passes so probably landing a third cry hit then attack comes out

Yes Nubia can make up her frame data for range. Though we still lose to BG with side special, his jab out ranges anything that ain't N.Special(Nubia) and his movement speed makes Nubia look like a snail.

It is a pretty specific situation you get it off, usually you can nair into cry down special but that doesnt do much since its not a combo extender anymore. Sometimes it just lines up though into the slam and it feels great. More often than not sair is more consistent though

Aa good slide down attack will punish them for charging armor a couple of times but they learn fast

i've heard the "hit with a sweet spot" sound sooo many times back when i would still use the dash attack, but it never did anything special. it would make a decent ledgeguard spiking type of tool if it actually worked

bgs air side special nor sair can charge, it has really high starting whiff but thats not charging, does 11 damage, hitbox covers the full lance lenght but not behind bg, and is terrible at killing early

plus our charged mode kinda sucks and is nothing compared to shaggys

Yeah honestly I think the lifting weights ability should have the total time to get buff be reduced. Maybe have the duration it’s available be reduced as well so we are constantly applying it but it’s a lot faster to apply. I also think Iron Maiden perk needs to have the activation be just as fast as the normal, it’s still not that great of a perk

i think one of the worst parts is that if you complete the charge you become completely vulnerable for a moment

being able to cancel the pose animation with a dodge would be nice

also agree with iron maiden, wish it was a better projectile defense tool, i love the ability to fall while doing it

tryed using the iron maiden fall ability to start on the air then try to remove mortys bomb on the ground but still terrible at it

they need to work so much on the worst parts of his kit, cry should be reverted and just increase the delay on repetition
