Heck I would even argue that they could be a good example of what some of the characters in Multiversus should be. A character that you have to learn to get good with but you can have fun with at the same time yet they also aren't insanely broken or overpowered.

Would it be a stretch to say Tom and Jerry are the most balanced character in Multiversus right now or am I pushing it lol?

You know something? Back when the game was in open beta my favorite thing to do with them was use rocket mouse foward then reflect it with Tom's racket to launch it foward faster. I came here during launch to see you couldn't cancel Rocket Mouse anymore and I was upset....that was until I realized you can cancel out of rocket mouse by pressing dodge and the rocket will keep going.

I'd say I've adapted to launch multiversus at least

I've even made a little trick if anyone is interested. If you use rocket mouse and angle it foward then you press dodge to cancel it. If you run infront of the rocket on the ground it will launch Tom the second he is infront of it. IT MAKES FOR GREAT MOBILITY IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN TRYING IT

I've killed some people by launching Tom like that too

The best thing I could compare it to is maybe like the Spin Shot Technique with Sonic in Smash.

But that's a stretch

Know what? I'll give another tip to my fellow TnJ players.

If you use rocket mouse in the air it will put jerry and tom and the exact right amount of distance from eachother that you can fully charge Jerry's cork and Tom's racket.

Assuming you don't move tom when your in the air that is

Side attack (1 mallet hit) > Paddle > down air > Up air (after the third vertical paddle hit, you can jump to continue air moves including cast iron crusher, confirmed)
Side attack (1 mallet hit) >paddle > air up special
Side attack (1 mallet hit) > paddle > Jerry slingshot > tennis ball (for jerry to hit the enemy upon landing > followed by trash can lid

I used tracker.gg to find the damage and every round I did more. 99% of superman's moves are kill moves and its stupid.

Yeah, but my problem with the character is that most of his moves can kill by one hit at like 70-90 percent. With some moves killing me at like 65 percent.
Also most of his moves are hard to navigate as they either span a large area, require moves that have disconnect, or have armor.

I get that tanks tank damage, but with that philosophy you can either make the character also do a lot of damage but be slow and easy to maneuver around, or have speed but little damage.

The problem with super man is that he has both and its annoying to play against.

Pfft hahaha no. Bug and TnJ are not the same. One is for setups and such one is for ranged and a unique mind.
Not saying that's a bad thing but I've played TnJ and Bugs enough to say no they are not similar. Tom and Jerry are more built on range while I'd say Bugs is setups or being tricky.

You can play Bugs without a brain while I'd argue Tom and Jerry require more thought to be really good.

But I dunno. I'm the Tom and Jerry guy that got 1,500 wins before open beta ended not the TnJ and Bugs guy.

It's not. Bugs has the lower skill ceiling between the two. You can play Bugs, not think about your next move and it'll work out. Kinda like his cartoons when he's against Elmer Fudd. Tom and Jerry's the wake up call when you try to play them the same way you play bugs

A perk idea i had about the jerrocket:
It would replace the rocket with the champagne bottle of jerry, Tom would hold it while aiming for a moment (the bottle would be jiggling like about to explode) and then jerry gets launched at max rocket speed in the aimed direction (without the slow aceleration), with more damage and more knockback but way less redirection control , it would also shoot the cork of the bottle in the opposite direction (like when tom reflects it, but faster)
As a disadventage, jerry cork ammo would go from 3 to 1 and from 5 to 3
Another thing is that for non controlled rockets it would shoot the bottle straight ahead instead of in an arc, and with a normal cork (non redirected) beign shooted backwards

Sounds a bit strong though, but would impact greatly the playstyle

Up tilt into up special kills at 120% if you can hit it. Rocket mouse, the frying pan, fishing rod, and up air are probably your best options if they are at a high percent.

You can also do the first hit of foward attack into down tilt quickly for a kill confirm I've heard.

batarangs are very hard to deal with

down attack and dash attack low profile jerry proyectile

or straight up catch it during its startup
