I think harley can be a bit difficult but basically when she charges down tilt try and use ball on her if you don’t have it try and space it and hit her with shoulder charge at the right time. As for bugs I try to either catch him while spawning the safe or parry the safe but you can dodge if you’re not good at parrying. Banana and shaggy you also kinda just use ball to space and punish them in neutral.

• lebrons momentum doesn’t stop when activating this move

Sair with ball:

• kb is increased so this can kill around 130
• slightly reduced start up and end lag

Sair no ball:

• has reduced whiff lag

Aerial Up attack no ball:

Maybe but both of those have strict timing to them. I think the best way to beat it is either try and space outside of range or try and parry it. Parrying is still strict on timing like the other to but you can get way more out of it then hitting them away with ball or down tilt

Generally I just try and wait for BG to make a move first cause since his moves have a lot of end lag they can be punished after a dodge

Cuz the top dog challenge only gives you xp after the last match you played. So, if you rematch 3 times, you'll only get xp for the last of those matches (which equals to less xp)

LeBron's normals (asides from uptilt) are so stubby that I've taken to just not use them, I only use Bron in 2v2's and I use him as a zoner, throwing the ball left and right, only using dash attack sporadically and never trying to engage in melee.

I think Joker's jab has twice the reach that LeBron's one, quite ironic considering the IRL arm length of king James.

Ball is quite litterly life with LeGoat. He feels so unrewarding to play. His jab str8 up goes through the opps. Nair is his only good reach move. The only saving grace he has is up air and ball. so sadge

Can someone help me confirm the n-air > u-air combo? Do you have to just jump forward and up-air, or air-dodge forward and up-air?

From personal experience I’ve found that nair into up air can be done off rip at early percents without jump or dodge. Later on I feel that using dodge out of nair feels more consistent to land if they mash dodge. When in doubt though just wait for them to dodge and cover it.

Normally you'd think those issues wouldn't even be there in the first place, considering it's been more than a year since the beta so they had plenty of time to do a simple port + bug fixes.

Not to say most of the issues the game has rn weren't present in the beta.

I think if they did like a early access like a month earlier which had more players and took feedback from that then maybe the initial release would have done significantly better

I mean they did have to rebuild the whole game in a new engine. it isn't as easy as dragging and dropping it. In my opinion most of the year was only them porting the game and havjng to release it in an unfinished state because WB wanted it back by a certain date

A port to an update of the same engine wouldn't take more than a year. They probably spent most of the time reworking the network system, and even then it makes absolutely no sense for the release to be objectively worse than the beta.

which is kind of ironic because without attack decay some characters can still spam same move lmao

I mean, not really? They just slowed it down without adding actual whiff animations (which would've fixed the spam issue) to any of the characters (besides Jason).

"reworking" is a really strong word

They just removed some moves' functionality and slowed the gameplay down

Lebron's side B for example

It had an active hitbox while you were falling, which made the move actually useful (unlike now where it doesn't have that active hitbox anymore so you physically can't land the move unless your opponent's IQ is only 1 digit)

I actually land dunk fairly often in 1s. Cause you can space it a bit against some moves. But yeah it feels weird that the game went from spamming dodge to spamming attacks. Heck people still spam dodge in burnout and get away with it lmao
