Jarro is special in that he's never been hit. He's also special in the fact that he's the only Robin that's never appeared in a Batman book, and to have comic appearances in the double digits.

Also for the Tim Drake thing he exists as much as Jarro does? I mean even if DC doesn't know what to do with him they're still doing something with him, he's making appearances. It feels like such a backwards argument to defend a character that existed for an event comic with nothing before or after it since

I'm really not. Look I just tend to lean away from acknowledging bad writing. And Bruce saying any Robin is his favorite is bad writing in my opinion. They're all his children and even in the case of Tim where he's not I still think Bruce thinks of him as a son to some extent. Jarro might be my least favorite but I'd make the same argument for any of the Robins

Though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more inclined to bring up my distaste for it by someone mentioning it every hour, including responding to my request saying it just because I didn't specifically request Jarro.

Honestly, the concept of Jarro is pretty unique when you compare him to the other robins. I like the idea of batman raising an alien that is from a antagonistic race. Its almost like Giegue from earthbound. His lore makes him essentially intriguing and if his grip is fighting while using telekinetic abilities, he's the next dc rep i want after Raven/teen titans representation, Catwoman. 🙏

Elmo would be a great general rep for the franchise, could pull in Elmo's World as a stage, but the thing is Elmo is Sesame Street's Golden Boy and his whole thing is being all loving and stuff, wouldn't make much sense for him to be in Multiversus punching Batman in the face (Ik you could say this about Steven Universe, but WB can do whatever they want with him since they own him, they don't own Seasame Street). Big Bird also doesn't make too much sense either for similar reasons. Cookie Monster is one of the show's most iconic characters, so I think he makes a lot of sense, could be a support character able to give other players cookies or be a tank character who eats cookies to grow stronger. Grover is also a very iconic member of the cast, and has the Super Grover alias, and has a more varied pool of moves to pool from than most other characters. Oscar The Grouch could be a tank, using his iconic trash can as armor, or he could be a mage/ranged, using the trashcan to lob projectiles. One thing to note about the Seasame Street cast that makes them more difficult to incorperate in a fighter is the fact that most of them are very young.

The DCEU Movie Aquaman is the most widely accepted version of the character, it made him cool again and is the highest grossing DC Movie of all time. Why don’t people understand most than likely it is mostly Warner properties otherwise these characters being requested would have been in smash but guess what it doesn’t fit the theme smash is video game origin as multiversus is Warner properties otherwise NASB can possibly put DBZ and other paramount properties together unless movie studios licensed out the ip and in that case imagine the problems that can come from that certain time windows for exclusive fighters that you have to buy otherwise the likely hood of them being available is like seeing Deadpool in fortnite item shop again until they renew the license difference is that fortnite are different skins a fighting game is different tech for each individual character to make that exclusive is to make mega man in smash dlc you would have to buy before they close the window to purchase him do to licensing that’s why Warner can’t over extend it would be a nightmare for legal agreements and danger to the longevity of this game fyi

That does not make sense, the licenses in this type of games reach an agreement permanently, it would be ridiculous if Smash only sells its third-party characters for a limited time until the license is renewed, that is why an agreement is reached between both companies, which is why third-party dlcs are available in smash wii even now, and always will be.

Now with Multiversus and third-party characters the same would be the case, although being realistic, it is most likely that we will have the first third-party character in 2023, but it would leave the definitive door open to many more, depending on how supported the game.

I'm also wondering that. Most people say the argument against Godzilla is that he is too large and would need to be downsized. Characters like Jarro face the opposite problem of potentially being too small to work on their own. However, I think Jarro's small size could be mitigated in one of two ways, being in a duo with a Human Robin, someone like Tim Drake or being sized up (Because canonically Jarro can change his size). Still, until an official statement is put out about size limitations, we won't know if Jarro is possible for sure.

Taking another swing at this question because in the month since this question was asked, a few important break throughs have happened. The biggest thing is the jump in Jarro Support which has grown rapidly: handily defeating all DC Characters in this channel to be the number 2 most requested character and even external support bases with a dedicated twitter account and YouTube channel. But with more support comes more exposure, and now more people than ever before know who Jarro is (which In my opinion is the bigger victory). I think if the support holds up he can definitely get in

Not only just for representing other parts, but some of the others could have interesting mechanics especially for a 2v2.
