Because I'm predictable and also because I always have impossible dreams about platform fighters here's a list of all the Death Battle rep I'd want in Multiversus (keeping it with at least a vague sense of realism):

  1. Wiz and Boomstick as SEPARATE fighters
  2. A Death Battle stage with Ringmaster as the announcer
  3. Something like Smash Bros's codec calls where Wiz and Boomstick do short rundowns of every fighter (with other characters popping in occasionally such as Peridot during Steven and/or Garnet's analyses)
  4. Music from the series (although we'd have to remove everything that can't be convincingly played off as original and that warner bros doesn't own both of the characters in). This would include:
    -Alive
    -Wiz and Boomstick
    -Emerald Heroes
    -Blood Gulch Bedlam
    -Thunder Shroud? Maybe?

In regards to costumes, the DC characters have a lot to choose from. One idea I have for Wonder Woman would be her attire from Dennis O'Neil's run of the character, where she was depowered and mainly fought in a white jumpsuit of sorts. Rex has been utilized fairly recently by Man of Action, but he originates with the same company who created Firebreather. Honestly it just depends on how Image Comics would feel about it. Rex was able to get into FusionFall and Exonaut, so who knows?

Batfamily Characters, are just more likely to be in this game than any other group of DC Characters since they have more marketing pull and franchise weight. Like, Tim Drake, even if DC doesn't know what to do with him, has more of a chance then half the randos who've been part of the Justice League. Jarro is one of the most recent characters in the Batfamily, and one of the more popular ones, with more of a fanbase over characters like Jace Fox, Gotham Girl or Harper Row.

well realistically from how i see it. You can get a ton more milage out of brock than the monarch. Monarch has his normal suit, blue morpho, college clothes, super suit, and daydream outfit, also the outfit when he pee'd in the sink/tried to cap red death

Brock would have all the numerous outfits he has had, suit, underwear, college, murderfly, exercise, bald, the bloody bathroom outfit (not sure if they can get away with that one), his fat version, the one with helper in his chest, and realistically you could definately squeeze 21 in as a skin and introduce a myriad of skins like the new kano where he is almost the exact same proportions as brock, or daydream henchman 21

While i would love jotaro and or dio (best to just do skins, they are literally the same stand), I do not think its going to be realistically possible.
The videogame rights to jojo's bizzare adventure are not owned by warner, as far as i know they own the rights to the dvds and distribution of the anime in america only.

The owners of it are bandai namco and japanese companies are notorious for refusal to work with american ones, especially when it comes to using their ips

Lol suck it, A statistic is statistic, no matter how "unfair" it is, but for the record, if you have a base of users that request a character over and over again, that means that there's a really strong desire to see that character and a strong drive to keep requesting them over and over. Ben 10 is seen so frequently and has such a lead on everyone else due to the core of users who request him being so vocal. The same just applies to Jarro, even if the core of support is smaller. Also, yeah mentions are pretty unreliable since it also counts non requests, but it's good, solid, "hard" data none the less.

I mean Rex is a character I really want in the game, I just don't want to come off as badgering the developers by requesting him multiple times, especially multiple times in one day.

And I still wouldn't say it's "Good" data. It's data, absolutely, but with no way of discerning how many people want them, or whether or not the mentions are even positive or negative, all you've done is say "Hey people are talking about this character". This is not throw shade at anyone at all because it's a valid choice, but is anyone else weirded out by how loosely Clockwork Orange can be used? Heatblast. If we get one character from ben 10 to prevent bloat, make it heatblast from the OG series. This is one of the few aliens to make a consistant appearance from os all the way to the reboot with a different design each time. (cannonbolt looks pretty much identical in every variation except for Omniverse).

Heatblast could get a ton of skins, one for each series (UAF heatblast is darker than os, and omniverse heatblast has shoulder pads is a bit lighter in color, wilder head fire and his face is a bit different), You could work in his Cold skin, its not impossible to do a UAF swampfire skin since their bodytypes are pretty much identical, ben 10,000 heatblast, you could do an allen albright skin, alpha heatblast, the heatblast skins from ben 10: protector of earth, gwen 10 heatblast, the skies the limit.

i think after a while the individual aliens felt less like specific aliens with their own abilities, and more so individual supermoves you only use in that specific instance.
Heatblast could fly, form complex fire structures had great utility against swarms, four arms had alot of strength and durability and was great for individual combat but had alot of agility, stinkfly could fly, shoot goo to corrode or stick things in place, ghost freak could fly, possess things, scare things and was great for avoiding things.

What was notable was the fact that several of these aliens abilities and purposes overlapped and never felt like there was one alien for every job, there were few single job aliens (the only notable ones were ripjaws for water and greymatter for smart and small things), and even then the writers always shoved them into situations that work against their usual advantages.
Omniverse just kinda has an alien for every job and it never feels like any of them have depth, eventually it just felt like a alien slideshow because it became variety for the sake of it

I think its because the creators were ashamed with the more humanoid designs in the UAF ben 10 series and the fact that ben generally didnt super expand his useset even as he gained them so they went too far in the other direction with omniverse, too many aliens and too shallow. Ben had used less aliens but they were more varied and had depth, even as he did actually gain more, like lodestar, or nanomech.
