10. Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz)
    She isn't much of a fighter, but The Wizard of Oz is too iconic piece of media history to leave unrepresented imo. At the very least, an Oz stage would be beautiful. Even then, I think Dorothy has some fun potential for gameplay, like summoning her friends for her smash attacks, having Glinda appear to lift Dorothy in a bubble for her up special, or clacking her heels together as a Wii Fit Trainer-like down special to boost the power of her kicking normals using the ruby slippers.

11. Neo (The Matrix)
    Another iconic media franchise that deserves some representation. From what I know about Neo, he's able to manipulate the Matrix's code for things like telekinesis, super speed, and increased strength, which is enough on its own for a moveset. I also think it could be neat if he used this manipulation ability in some meta ways, such as messing with the UI.

12. Max (Scribblenauts)
    The moveset potential for this character is absolutely insane, though I have him low on the list because I'm not sure how well you could translate the typing gimmick of his series to a fighting game. It would work naturally on the PC version, but it would take forever to type anything on home consoles. You could just have him summon a set object for each move, but I feel like that detracts from preserving the feel of Scribblenauts. If they can make him work, however, I'd love to see it.

7. Pibby (Learning with Pibby)
   Pibby's main disadvantage here is not having any official media outside of a very recent short that may or may not become a full series later. With that said, I think she'd be a natural fit as a post-launch addition to the cast due to her combat ability and the crossover nature of her pilot.

8. The Mask (The Mask)
   This guy would be incredible for his animations alone, but he's got plenty of weaponry to make a moveset from too.

9. Godzilla and/or King Kong (MonsterVerse)
   Two of the most iconic movie monsters of all time? Of course they should be represented! They do each have some hurdles, however. Godzilla is owned by Toho and both characters would have to be scaled down immensely to work in a fighting game. It's possible, but I can understand why the team would be hesitant to do it. With that said, if they don't become fighters, I'd still love a Godzilla vs. Kong stage where they fight in the background.

10. Samurai Jack (Samurai Jack)
    Does this need any explanation?

11. Jason Voorhees and/or Freddy Krueger (Friday the 13th / A Nightmare on Elm Street)
    These two are quite possibly the most iconic horror movie characters in the last half century. Their inclusions would be no-brainers. Freddy in particular has a lot of potential for his moveset and stage due to his dream-manipulation abilities, but either one would be a welcome addition and both would be amazing.

12. Scorpion and/or Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat)
    I don't personally care much for MK, but it's undeniably iconic and a big influence on Western fighting games. On that note, the gameplay is the biggest reason I want an MK rep. I like FGC characters in platform fighters and these are the obvious choices for fulfilling that niche.

1. Jotaro Kujo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
   This should've been obvious to anyone who read my nickname. JJBA is one of the most influential manga series of all time and with Warner Bros. Japan in charge of publishing and distributing the anime, MultiVersus has a golden opportunity to represent that history and reach an even wider audience.
