I think something that divides this game and Smash that people need to kind of get (if they don't,) is that this game has the schedule of Brawlhalla, with an ongoing game with expanding characters over time, unlike Smash who has limited slots, so speculation is kind of irrelevant as they can add whoever they want during that period.

Also I'm sure if WB has close partnerships with series from other companies they'll allow them to get in as third parties

I mean I could see it working well if like you play as ben, and then down b or something turns you into an alien, and lets you switch between them, like Pokémon trainer switches between squirtle, ivysaur and charizard, which would in theory make each alien more fleshed out, but also seems less realistic as it would basically make ben multiple characters instead of just one, and it would take a lot more effort, and since the whole "moves turn you into different aliens" have already been suggested a lot, and shown to work before in CN Punchdown Explosion, it makes more sense.

Issue is, Ben 10 Classic and UAF don't have the full alien roster so you'd be limited to the first 10 aliens, and asking the devs to get Tara and Yuri to make voice lines and the modellers and animators to make skins for all his iterations and variations of those on top of the aliens and those voice actors is a bit unfair. We'll be lucky if we even get 2 aliens
