I have looked it up. The last movie was DISTRIBUTED by WB, not produced or owned. Distributing is the same as ownership we'd pretty much have Mickey Mouse in the game already. Stone Ocean (the most recent season) was actually produced by Warner Japan (look up “who produced Jojo Stone Ocean”) while David Production does the animation, and NETFLIX did the distribution. I really do think this franchise has a shot at MVS even if there’s no third party characters

PFG needs to ask permission to use a character, but IP owners don’t give it to any random person. So they need to build up some sort of relationship to gain their trust. So far they only got their publisher (WB) to trust them with characters, but they are trying to get other companies to work with them as well. So we might get non-WB characters in the future. But for now, expect just WB.

I would like to see The Man with the Yellow Hat and Curious George as some sort of duo. Perhaps like Duck Hunt, but I think a couple other ideas would be more interesting. 1, something similar to Olimar, able to send George out to do different things or grabs, like a more physical TnJ, or 2, something really fun would be if you solely play as The Man with the Yellow Hat and Curious George is basically and AI that just wanders around, randomly attacking or appearing around the map. It would be an interesting concept as the player cannot plan George's antics and the opponent cannot predict where George will pop up and what he will do. It could be annoying, but if Ice Climbers can do it, I think it would be interesting to expand upon that concept, as well as original.

This might seem like a random nitpick but I actually love the Powerpuff girls in the game they are super fun. But in the PPG victory animation when the girls fly in, their trails are the color of the Rowdyruff Boys. And in regular gameplay, The Rowdyruff Boys have the color of the girls trails. Also the boys seem to have the girls eye color even though their shirts are the correct darker shades of the colors. I hope you guys can fix these but it is still good regardless.

she’d have low kill potential (canon) until she becomes purple puma with her neutral special , they’d be obvious whiff to her whip and isn’t gonna be as long range as you think, the only move you’d have to worry about is her neutral attack which can stun an enemy with her whip (has cooldown)
Amethyst in the show hasn’t used her whip to pull someone in so it isn’t gonna be like wonder woman ( she also won’t have armor)

she’s gonna have a signature perk that makes her charged whip attacks apply fire and her dash attack is gonna be a sonic roll

I disagree
While lex luthor and cheetah or extremely popular villians for both super man and cheetah respectively
Movesets and skins and emotes and creativity in general are more important to a character.
I hate Lexington luthor as a character
He hates Superman just to hate and cheetah, well I don't know anything about cheetah.
Scarecrow is someone who I think would be an awesome addition to the game with crazy skins each resembling some kind of classic costume or a different fear
Plus fear toxin and mabye a different status effect
Melee would a sycth and mabye wrapping a noose on you or throwing spiders at or taking you to a tall height
There's just so much to do with the character

With lex just
Punch.. mabye some mechanical weapons but it just wouldn't have anything

We're talking about comic books characters, so there's automatically a lot of cosmetics to add to the game
Lex doesn't hate Superman just to hate, and he has advanced armors like Iron Man have
The gameplay with that could be insane
And cheetah would have an interesting gameplay too and she is already in the Multiversus comics
As much as I agree with you that Mr Freez or Scarecrow would be nice addition to the game, there's no need for too much Batman characters in the game, what could deserves the game more would be to add more diversed characters from other superheros lore, like Nubia coming mid season

Like everyone else I would love more dc characters. But scarecrow and freeze would just be cooler to see
I entice you to look at another dc fighting game injustice 2 which is the main reason why I want to see scarecrow in this game
It just looks so cool and it's a character I would switch to instantly. Verse lex who's just to bland for a fighting game imo
I'd like to see all of them some day but we need to add the right characters first
And nubia was not a good pick whatsoever
Extremely obscure character that little people know even dc fans such as myself(I knew her but not by name). I can name 30 dc characters off the top of my head before I'd even consider her

I have to disagree with you both. Not that I dislike DC, far from it. But we have 6 DC characters (7 with Nubia) and this is Multiversus, not Injustice. I’d rather see some more characters from other IP.

Also, I don’t think Nubia was such a bad pick. Although there could have been better ones to make my following point. Some people care about being able to see themselves in the character that they play (not me, I’m a man and most men don’t care) and so far there are no black women in the game. With Nubia this opens the way for a lot of black woman gamers to join the game. In other, less respectful games they would just race and gender swap Superman. (And lose the rest of their player base)

And with nubia I'm guessing by seeing yourself in the character you mean having another black character and especially a woman. Now I get that but there a not a lot a black girl characters. And it shouldn't be a reason to add her to the game just because you want to appease a very small amount of people. There is tons of more popular and better black characters they could add that I would much rather have

Static shock(not my first pick but had an amazing show and a storyline that really resonates woth a lot of people)

I do agree with not judging Nubia just yet. I think this is their way of introducing a character into something mainstream, like how Banana Guard was unexpectedly announced as a character to play as showing that literally anyone can be a character.

I know nothing about nubia
If they can pull of a sick moveset some unique skins nice voicelines and emotes

You can prefer whatever you like. Just saying that DBZ, Naruto and One Piece are the biggest. And to get those they need to get a deal with either Shonen Jump (who controles the Manga) or Viz Media (who controls the Anime in North America). If they get a deal with Viz media going Sailor Moon, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Yu-Gi-Oh would fall under that deal too.

Me and my gf keep remembering that Harry Potter is Warner Bros. so it’s entirely possible that we can get someone like Ron and Hermione. Harry just doesn’t feel right somehow.

Ron could get some spells but he’d also totally just straight up deck Iron Giant or Jason. Animaniacs but only if they make no sense and have consistency issues. Some attacks will have mildly different frames, varying kickbacks on the same attack even if performed the same, different sfx and vfx. Maybe even there’s a 5% chance that an attack will input backwards, so a forward air input with come out as a back air or something.

Their moves can consist of random cartoon BS, similar to how bugs works as a concept but different as to how it’s executed. Like instead of the vault it can be an anvil that can’t be flung around but stuns anyone it hits and smushes em like a pancake.

From what I can see on wikipedia (and please someone correct me if I am wrong) Terminator is currently owned by Paramount, but the do work with WB, Sony and Fox. Also T-1000 is in MK1. So there might be a chance.
