how does this sound as a character gimmick? what if green lantern's standards all could chain into one another. as in for his forwards attack, he ends out a construct forwrds, wich can then be sent into an uppercut or a slam if he follows it with the corresponding attack, wheras starting with an up attack can be slammed back down or used to shoot at an angle. and at the same time, the lantern is actually punching to match the input.

it'd only be a two step combo, of course, and likely have a cooldown, but would it be too convoluted?

Robin would need to be quick and light. Though to differintiate them from Batman, I'd love them to be an assassin, support, or mage. I think assassin might be best as while it would be cool to see Robin being everyone's sidekick and giving support buffs to make both players better for him being there, more thinking would have to go in to his kit. I'm leaning assassin.
