Here's a take from me: Ostrich Knight, from the Joust series. I think their gameplay (being mostly rushdown-focused with high horizontal movement skill) would be really fun, and their use of a jousting rod as opposed to a sword would make them a unique mid-range fighter - not to mention their nature as a steed fighter atop an ostrich. It'd be cool if the various costumes could be different birds, too, such as a stork!

On this: the Robotron Hero (from Robotron 2084) would be amazing to see. Personally, I'd love to see their look from the box art for the Atari 5200 release, with other looks such as the original 2084 poster motorcyclist-esque look, the dad-like one from the Lynx boxart, and even the big-headed Robotron X Hero would be awesome!

However, I think my most-wanted would be a character from the Tron series, ideally the classic 1982 release. The videogame tie-ins to the movie (Tron and Discs of Tron) were notably developed by Midway, and I think a moveset taking inspiration from both the original movie (with weapons such as the Lightcycles and the Light Balls) as well as focus on the Identity Disc as seen more prominently in the sequel, Tron: Legacy. It'd have such a unique and interesting presence on the roster... though admittedly, with the series being owned by Disney, I'd completely understand if Tron was off the table.

(I considered Tapper, but I think his association with alcohol wouldn't be brand-appropriate, even if his "beer" were to be replaced with root beer...)
