I found BWL to be kind of weakly characterized compared to the other Dark Knights. Murder Machine was my favorite, because he felt most like what Batman could end up turning into if things went wrong.

I can see a Bruce that gets suckered in by AI after losing Alfred. That feels possible. I can't really see Bruce doing what all the other Dark Knights did.

I didn't know what to think of that either, but I was mainly referring to the episode where Jack has to wear a Dr Suess Hat and a pacifier to get into a night club or something

That part yeah, but the Joker gas overriding his personality didn't work for me on two levels. I don't see a world of superscientists not picking up on that after the incident, and it kind of breaks theme with the other Knights. At that point, BWL isn't a warped Batman like the others, he's just Batman with his personality overwritten by chemicals. Less twisted Batman, more Joker inside Batman's skin.
