That's the biggest issue with comics tho, probably a part that a lot of people like, but having so many different creative teams on one character just kinda feels like it can muddy the water

And then you throw in other confusing stuff like a multiverse or all the other things with big events that reset the world

That's in regards to the big 2 though, there's tons of other comics out there by other publishing houses. Image, for instance, puts out some of the best high quality series in the West. And all of those are like the manga market, singular narratives that focus on a broad spectrum of genres.

And even then, with superhero comics, you don't need to know a mountain of continuity to read a singular story. Just take it on it's own terms and enjoy it.

If I want to read Zdarsky's Daredevil or JMS Spider-Man, I don't need to read 30 years of story to grasp everything. A good writer is able to communicate to new readers what's important and contextualize some of those histories within their narrative.

All 74 2003-2009 Wolverine run all in issues all cover A and first print except issue 58 (cover b), I am missing 66-72 (old man Logan) but I have that in TPB

Its the same price maybe 5-10$ cheaper the only difference is you lose the comic book aspect by buying the full story in a TPB or hardcover. The trade off is you get to read the full story all at once but you’ll have to wait till each issue comes out and until they make the TPB or hardcover. That process can take a while so is it really worth it?

You don't have to read it all once tho that's up to the individual. I read it in bits and pieces. Having the full story in no way diminishes the aspect of a comic book that's a weird way to see it

And this super well known superhero artist did this.

That's a double character drawing, and I even spoke to him to ask if this was his 1 and only and he said yes! He was shocked the person he did the commish for back in like 2017 sold it, I found it in a comic shop graded 9.8 for only 300! He said nowadays he'd do this type of commission for over 2k!

And here's the convo. I spoke more with him but that's what shocked me

He is like legendary in the comic community so to get him to even respond to me excited some of my comic shop friends

Exactly. I think he loved that piece alot and was just super shocked I even found it at a shop. Again also shocked it was only 300 bucks. Like what a steal!

Jubilee and wolverine are my two favorites so yeah that and Steven universe are both gonna die with me probably haha

Also to note that's 2k without being graded. Getting it graded shoots it up to about 2300
