While it's a neat gimmick with potential for impressive visuals (icons, etc.), I think Kuro's proposed gimmicks give you a faster method of transforming, plus just three Aliens and a fourth for an Ultimate seem far more balanced than a Monado-like gimmick. Also using five Aliens, having a cooldown, and having them all accessible through one menu makes it too similar to Shulk's gimmick, making it feel like a ripoff to some players and would of course be judged heavily by the community. Even then, you have the Aliens themselves. Depending on who you choose, you'd need a lot more voice actors on-board along with the 5 new models and movesets for each Alien, handing in a lot of time for Ben to be made. All of the Alien perks and then an extra Alien for a potential Ultimate attack would require some of the same things.
Though I'll also play Devil's Advocate here and say that using said play-style would give more representation to Ben, his Aliens, and his gimmicks surrounding them. Plus like I said in the first sentence of the first message, I can see some neat visuals, including what the icons would look like and the possible meter that could come with it, showing how long Ben can play as the Alien. Also it should be easy to come up with Aliens to fit the roles of the Monado arts, like what TMNTGuy said and with XLR8 fitting the Speed Art and a flying Alien to fit the Jump Art. Plus someone not very easy to damage like Goop or Swampfire fitting the Shield.
Actually separate Aliens like Goop, Swampfire, or Ghostfreak can fit Shield and Buster, Buster since you're more vulnerable to damage but the rate at which you are launched decreases drastically.

(shadow of mordor even though is video game is more of a lord of the rings rep IMO, because it is in the same universe,) other midway stuff is just too obscure to be in. after those 3 that i mentioned, sonic is the most likely.

Alright, well Red vs Blue was the premier Rooster Teeth show before RWBY, and still is one of their most successful works. It's filmed entirely in the Halo Games, still to this day they film episodes using the Halo Engine. Xbox actually endorses the production of Red Vs Blue and seems to be the primary license for the property even though the IP is owned by Microsoft. I think it's highly likely WB wants to represent Red vs Blue, but instead of one of the titular characters since they may not sell that much and since this series filmed in the Halo Games, they might go for the Halo License itself since it would probably sell more. I've heard Xbox is actually pretty easy to work with, and WB and Xbox seem to have a close business relationship, with WB titles coming and going from Gamepass every so often. So I think Master Chief has a slight edge over Sonic for first third party Video Game guest.

Another reason I think Master Chief may be first is that he's not already in a big platformer. And since he was so requested for Smash, one way to do big hype for this game would be to bring one of the most requested characters that never made it into Smash into Multiversus. WB would probably allow Master Chief to keep his guns, making his moveset truer to the Halo Series.
I personally think there's a lot going for Master Chief to come before Sonic, and then Sonic would probably be coming later

Cuphead not owned by Msoft. Psychonauts and Perfect Dark are more relevant game series with a strong legacy. Banjo and Conker also have strong legacy, but they've been less relevant, which is why Psychonauts and Perfect Dark are before them. Also, Sea of Theives is probably what Rare is most known for nowadays. Fulgore's franchise is also dead, but they are ahead of many because Midway has history with the property.

I absolutely adore Rhino's design at the end of Amazing Spider-Man 2, and it should've been how Rhino looks in all modern appearances (or at least the helmet design, if one wants to keep Aleksei a big mass of muscle). The classic designs of some Spider-Man versions suffer from being doofy and a relic of the classic age of comics (hence why I am glad the designs for MCU Vulture, MCU Electro, Spider-Verse Scorpion, Sam Raimi/MCU Green Goblin, and kinda Sam Raimi/MCU Doc Ock for the movies have changed that), and the movies usually have done an excellent job at portraying that, which makes me sad no one seems to talk about the design he has there.
