Because indie games are actually trying to be innovative. I agree with you, some of the best games from the last 5 years have been indie games because they are actually trying to innovate. But AAA developers can make more money off of sequels, remakes, reboots, remasters or blatant rip offs of other games than making a new and innovative IP. Young up and coming game developers are going to look to these AAA companies for inspiration. As a result, we are going to continue to see a decline in game quality.

It is trash because it is f2p. The other halos you can customize your spartain, levlel up and unlock new stucck. in this f2p one you cant even change your spartain colour without paying. It died so fast.

some f2p games can be good. Warframe is fantastic. Elder Scrolls Online kind of is. it goes on sale for £4 on steam. Ive got 100's of hours from that. Halo MCC has the best battle pass out of any game. Deep Rock Galactic is similar actually. you can come back to it whenever you want. no way to buy currency. The only thing Deep Rock Galactic sells is a few skins packs every so often. I dont mind getting some things on Deep Rock Galactic as they put out a heck of a lot of content and £5 for some skins to support the devs is nice.

game is great runs good. but there is a big issue with server stability that really needs to be addressed. along with the cross-play enabled and disabled feature not properly working and causing issues on both ends for console and pc players alike. also the few seconds of desync that causes mid match interruptions due to potential crossing of regions for the servers should also be looked into. over all really enjoy the game though these are some fatal issues for your game that really do need to be fixed with in the next while.

Iron Giant needs more Priority on his moves. Most characters can challenge a Literal Giant with no issue. He should also have some more natural armor on his moves, this would again help with giving him Priority. Maybe something like bowser tough guy. Honestly the idea of an IRON giant having no natural armor is a super weird concept. Rage mode has a less versatile Moveset then his base mode and is basically a downgrade. The final hit of Fair is quite weak compared to the animation, considering it is a jet blast.

I've been trying to ask for a while, but I'm not really sure how to get a reply, but I would like to know more about how the battle passes are planned to be handled, as I'm really hoping this game isn't going to take a "Fortnite" style approach with it where the battle passes expire and are replaced, never to be seen again.

While I understand the appeal of FOMO, I feel there is a much better alternative system where the battle passes don't expire and become unavailable, they simply go to a side shop where you can buy them for double the original price. players can then go into a menu and select their active battle pass between all the battle passes they own that aren't Max Level.

I feel like this alternate system where battle passes never truly expire , and new or busy players will always have the option (at an increased price) to go unlock that cool thing they really want, is a lot more user friendly. Rather than having 99% of the game's content locked away behind time gated events that will never happen again, they can simply unlock things at their own pace, but are still encouraged to participate in new and active battle passes as the price to buy in/XP to level up is lower than if they wait and do it later. This is especially beneficial for people who have already purchased a battle pass, but might not have the same spare time that other people do for completing it. The current system actively discourages busy people from participating in battle passes because it is a waste of money to buy a pass you might not have time to complete. By preventing passes from expiring, this would encourage players to buy passes because they would be able to complete them at their own pace.

I'm sure there might be a plan to have a shop with old rotating items at random as well, but please, please consider just not doing the psychologically abusive version of battle passes at all.
I really hope the team reads my message, and at least one person considers how much nicer this would be for the players, in addition to all the money they would make in the long run from all those people that would have bought it later on because they got into the game late.

just wanted to share some thoughts with the devs. I was wondering if there will be any released new characters that need a DLC purchase or which might not be unlocked with ingame money in the future. In my opinion this might hurt the F2P model of the game, the balancing (as people who will not pay for that character will be in a disadvantage on the available roaster), and will significantly hurt the playerbase count. I hope that you could read on the reviews of the other existing fighting games how the dlc system for new characters is hated by players. you have always mentioned that this game is and will remain free to play. However, communicating on the fact that all future characters will be available for everyone with in game money (or with real money for the people that don't want to grind) would be highly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this! 🙂

People are like that. I just say it like I see it. It is near impossible to counter if you do not have attacks with range/priority, and should be nerfed. It also deals too much damage and has too much knockback.
