I feel like the Alpha was great, but it seemed to be missing a crucial part of the Warner Brothers group. Marvin the Martian was just not in the game. I have no idea why but Marvin seemed to just be missing? They must have forgot to press the button that adds him into the game but once the Marvin the martian features come back in the game will not be beaten

idk with shared stocks you have to have both teammates be really good, and the stakes are raised for both players when someone dies and makes a unique bodyguard dynamic that nothing else really has

the founder's pack pricing is very overdone premium is essentially looking at what is included only appears to be worth 40$ perhaps 50 mabey 60 including the extra non-currency and battlepass items and the standard edition is essentially worth only 5$ i do not want to pay 40$ for a pack just for a pfp and a battlepass when i can just pay 5$ for it, and while yes you do the character unlocks skipping through and not progressing through the game takes fun out of it so i wouldnt even use the tickets and just buy the characters with coins anyway, the standard edition is at most worth 10-20$ based on ingame items, deluxe is worth 30$ id say as a fair price and premium is atleast double its actual value. i understand the game is new but please reduce these prices its not bad or outrageous imo but it is indeed not worth the apparent value of the ingame items and id love to support the game and be rewarded with some awesome goodies 100$ is streching it for what does not appear worth the price

and just doing the math btw 3 battlepasses / tokens is 900 gallieum atm based on the price of the current one which i think is heavily discounted anyway because its a pre-season battlepass but even if its 1000 thats still about only 50 dollars of actual value roughly i dont accredit any value of the character tokens because you can unlock them via gameplay and a pfp and ringout cant be worth more 10$ on their own just guessing

I planned to put money in the game like 20 to 30€ in multiple months... But the game is too high priced that grinding for coins is much more profitable. 40€ for a pass that unlocks 15 characters (and gives you 5€ in gem) means you pays the price of a game and still doesn't get the whole base content that isn't cosmetic. Then I wanted to pay to unlock Tom and I saw I had to put 10€ just to do that. What a cold shower.

I played through the alpha test and barely unlocked the characters there, which was only 5 at the time. Now there's 11, and if progression is at the same speed, it's going to take a while, especially since coins slow down after the initial amount. But the alternative is $40 to unlock everyone with the founders pack, that's way too high. Pricing is already out of control. $20 skins already!?
I can sort of understand it being $7 a character since that's how League does it, but this is a platform fighter, not a MOBA, having all the characters is more important.

Random feedback thing unrelated to the obvious issues and pricing stuff - the default unlocked characters should probably have more variety. 3 bruisers in Shaggy/Jake/Taz is a bit much when people have no Mages or Supports. Maybe for the full release, swap Jake and Taz for Steven and Bugs? Personally I'd also swap Harley for another assassin to avoid having 3 starting DC reps, but I get that she's popular

Anything Bugs picked up form his passive sometimes remain on his fist and stays there for the whole match

I am absolutely loving every aspect of this game except for the implications with the monetisation, which has me very concerned. Three tiers of Founders Editions, the biggest being £80, coins being very grindy to get and a freemium currency that you basically have to buy at least a couple times. Netcode seems messed up right now. I've lost at least two matches already where my opponent seems to be lagging and I get "knocked out" while warping around. (EU servers at least).

To clarify: I've got like 60 hp damage taken, my opponent does a heavy attack, my character bounces on some wall and "warps" in the stage - if it's remotely close to the edge it might cause the lag to "clip" near the deadzone causing a "knock out" - even though it would have been a hit was clearly not supposed be a knockout - even if I had 0 jumps or dodges left which was not the case. That's basically what has happened twice.

i'm personally not a huge platformer fighter player but I really love this game and I haven't even poured that much time into it yet
the aesthetics are gorgeous, each and every character feels perfectly reflected from the source material both via graphics and through their personality and - more specifically - their dialogue
the controls are quick, snappy and smooth and are a blast to play with, each character is completely unique and each round feels completely different when alternating characters

tldr: i just really like the music, artstyle and controls a lot lol

i've not come across any bugs yet except the obvious sync issue but that's patched for now and bugs like that are expected

there is one major flaw with the premium battle pass in that you dont earn any of the gleamium from the premium pass itself, similar to fortnite and such, this is basically the "buy in" to get people to buy the premium battle pass, the chance to earn more goodies and make back the money you spent, with the extra profit being by people who failed to do this and have to buy more to get in on the next pass.

The consequence of not implementing the gleamium into the premium pass is that there isn't an incentive for players who don't want the cosmetics at play here, the fact that they have to spend the currency for cosmetics they probably won't use or want and they dont get to make their money back.

As initially illogical as it sounds, people are more likely to buy something they dont think they want if they believe they can get it for free. However in this case they still have to purchase the gleamium, so instead of losing out on the people getting their money back by completeing the pass, your getting more money by all the people buying it because they think they can make back what they spent despite needing to buy into it.

In alpha, unlocking the characters was fun and exciting like Smash Bros was. I was hoping multiversus could keep that aspect of the game in instead of making it so grindy that you literally have to pay actual money to get the characters you want. I think something worth doing is instead of offering all 4 characters pre-picked, offer 2 basic ones (shaggy and jake) and give 2 free character tickets after completing the tutorial which also rewards wonder woman. (so you get 3 pre-decided characters off the bat)

While I do generally really like this game, I have always and will continue to maintain the opinion that hitstun and kill power should be higher across the board, or at least in 1v1 matches. So often I feel like I'm constantly getting combos robbed from me, one move will often look like it should naturally true combo to another, but it just doesn't, the frame data doesn't allow for it, which is a really deflating feeling. It creates a really simplistic game feel where I feel like I'm fishing for stray hits instead of combo starters (since there are so few of them) and I never get rewarded for hitting anything, it's like Brawl, almost. I can understand why the hitstun is how it is due to the 2v2 focus, but I feel like you could just pull a Smash Ultimate and add a slight multipler to 1v1s to make the game flow better.

I wish the game had some other defensive option to punish people for constantly pressing buttons, at the very least i think you should be able to tech off of walls so you wont be able to constantly bounce people back and forth off of them without and way to fight back. Alot of the characters feel like you hit your opponent twice every echange thats it. There's no real read/prediction opportunities due to how safe dodge you have zero lag when coming out of it is I know theres a decay on dodge invincibility but it feels like it does nothing, I guess dodge has to be this strong because theres no other defensive option. Along with the low hitstun, low lag on moves it makes the game feel like hit and run and you don't have to think about what you're doing. I guess this works for 2v2 since you don't want to just get knocked back and forth. But In 1v1 it's not a fun experience.

I enjoy the game in 2v2. I hope 1v1 could get different mechanics to make it more enjoyable.

i hope it was only for the mini pass, but you guys MASSIVELY slowed down the progression of it, the rate at which you earn rank exp for the pass and the exp requirements are insanely higher. you earn only a very small amount of points normally outside of challenges, literally single digit point gain which has been nerfed since the tests
rank 5 is at 550 points for a level up which is insanely high for how far it is, i remember rank 10 on the beta pass being like 400.

battle passes normally are at 30 ranks if i remember, this is 15. and the exp requirement grows. The time for this pre-season pass is 20 days, and you get 600 rank exp for doing all your daily challenges, so thats 12000 exp if you do daily challenges every day for the season, and 1800 from the seasonal challenges, so the maxmium amount of exp before you have to grind is 13800.
That sounds like alot until you realise that if its at 500+ that early, rank 15 onward must be in the thousands, meaning all thats left is to grind single digit amount of points from matches

I want to point this out now before it becomes this games death sentence later. There is no re-earnable currency so far, and the player has already bought the pass, there is zero reason for it to be this grindy. either let me re-earn what i spend or let me get through it without playing every day and grinding hundreds of matches just to get to the end.

Love what I’ve been playing so far, even though it’s mostly been in the Lab. I do wish that there was a way to fight bots in Local mode though, for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to have decent internet for Online. I actually just thought of another way to help with the grind. If they made levels beyond level 15 for characters give you cash that would make it easier to gain money as well. This is definitely not a fix that will be the one thing it needs but it would help if combined with the other suggestions we have gave.

Comboing someone has to be frame perfect otherwise they can airdodge, and it has so little lag and also stack on the fact you can cancel airdodges with attacks and im just sad
