for the training mode, can we possibly get a frame by frame slow down or any slow down function at all? It would be nice so that we can pinpoint when certain moves are vulnerable or something like that. Additionally just listing frame data would be nice. Furthermore a reset scenario feature would be good too. Finally I think a record dummy mode would be good so that players could try to learn to counter specific strings or moves. (Unless any of these features are already in and I just can't find them)

the hit frames for Taz's aerials seem to have a delay, or they're very small (could also be lag)...I never seem to get priority even though I think I see my attacks coming out slightly faster

Add a competitive mode that doesn't have perks or has sets of perks available to everyone. Playing against someone who has +10 on attack while I have nothing is just a waste of everyone's time

I’m not sure if this happens with other people but think it’s note worthy to say this.

To explain I play on a controller for this game. A 3rd party GameCube controller specifically. So I play Reindog and noticed that when ever I got of a side aerial attack into charged down attack it doesn’t seem to come out or with me not pressing anything it auto locks either that or charged up attack for a combo. Along with this I’m not sure if this is a me problem but down aerial attack doesn’t come out and instead I get side aerial attack. This might be a none issue but a look into it would be nice cause as a person who plays on a controller I don’t want to feel I have an disadvantage for what controller I choice to play with.

I think taz's effects need to be reworked, i know the argument is that his tornado is the only kill move he has. but that doesnt mean taz is voldemort and you cant touch or speak his name at all.
IF only one move of his works, then there is a problem, ALL of him should work. Id rather tornado be nerfed and taz be made more even than just leaving him in the state he's in because tornado is all he has

Arya's reliability is majorly too low. For a character that seems to be built almost entirely around combos and extensions with up special and dagger nothing is guaranteed to work at all, even in a 1v1 environment. Up special reads the wrong way, you can get hit while dashing to dagger, and uncharged side special is a move that doesn't need to exist with down special existing

Face Steal is a super fun mechanic but at the same time can be a useless option depending on the character you're playing against, and even detrimental to take into characters like Reindog

The dash is super cool but the fact it leaves her open to everything including grabs means that, when reaching her target, she can legitimately be killed off the top while on stage. Superman can grab her and displace her hurtbox too

the projectile itself has the major issue of being impossible to use against a set up zoner, meaning Arya has no way in. Ideally it should be able to tank a couple of the weaker hits a zoner can put out, as a single tom bullet or reindog pulse can give the "hybrid fast-paced assassin" no entry for the next 20 seconds. Also, it loses to Finn down special. I don't know why

make it more apparent especially for the battle pass stuff, that doing the starter missions unlock your challenges, especially that the normal daily and seasonal challenges reward points on the battle pass
Many players think its just a difficult grind fest, when ive already hit tier 31 just by doing daily and seasonal challenges

That or just make the starter challenges seperate from unlocking daily challenges, as of right now it isnt apparent its necessary for the players to do them and if they think "oh i dont need to use a tutorial" then they're just gonna gimp themselves without knowing that another option exists.

Multiversus doesnt NEED a shield, it needs refinement of what it already has. And further adjusting the characters AROUND the lack of a shield instead of shoehorning it in there.
Rivals 1, regardless of what its sequel is doing, shows that having no shield CAN work, and it can work Fantastically

Only played Rivals one a few times but I can guarantee you they didnt have heavies or characters with bigger hurt boxes and characters that move twice as fast as everyone else. Or smaller characters. Once you start putting different type of characters in the game you need a shield or else people will abuse spamming projectiles or rush down characters will have the advantage. I dont understand how you cant see that.

I play fighting games since Street Fighter 2. Not just smash. Every fighting game has blocks except the ones that have the same types of fighters. your assuming that? first of all, your only point against me is that "i have no experience with fighting games" when ive played since smash melee, including this games test 1, and mortal kombat earlier than that. and to this day i still do rounds on Dragon ball fighterz.

you should be able to dodge mid combo atleast twice with a long cooldown that builds up by attacking because once u get stuck in a really good combo theres no real escape so if u can like dodge mid cobo or like dodge behing like in naruto shippuden the game with a cooldown ittl be very good

Theres no point in nerfing so many characters when adding a shield would stop half the op shit that happens in this game. Having a shield would stop the mashing. Oh something else, might be a good idea to let us reroll a seasonal mission like we can with daily missions, I'm fine if it's limited like maybe you get 2 or 3 rerolls per season, but sometimes you definitely can get stuck with an especially difficult one and it'd be nice if we can switch it out for a maybe easier one

Literally just asked Tony about adding more new mechanics to all characters before the game release and he said yes they will continue to add those things in the game. test 1 had several differences people dont know about in relation to this version, basically they cut a HUGE amount of costumes, like almost every character had atleast 1 except for ayra, shaggy had like 4

This game is absolutely incredible already, with the multitude of famous/familiar faces interacting in a way no one's ever seen before! The animation is stunning, and hearing one character talk about or make a quip about another always brings a smile to my face. The art design is fantastic, the stages have so much life in them, and even the outer blast zones look as foreboding as they do fitting to the game's style.

Imagine my surprise, seeing Velma in a fighting game like this! Shaggy I'm less stunned with by comparison, given his "Ultra Instinct" powers, but she's been done so uniquely well that it hardly feels out of place next to veterans to combat like Finn or Wonder Woman. And there is nothing quite as satisfying as taking Taz and cranking out the signature tornado spin... plus the whole "Tasty" mechanic with the giant chicken? It's completely bonkers and I love it! So fitting to his character of an endless glutton yet remains as looney as you'd think with the spices and sandwiches. Well done!

And I have NEVER been interested in Tom & Jerry as a whole until seeing them in this game! It's the little detail of even in the middle of a massive skirmish, Tom doesn't look at his opponent; he looks right at Jerry. Every attack, aimed at the mouse who either endures or sidesteps away, while catching the other combatants as collateral, its basically genius! At least to me like, that's such an in-character thing they'd do yet I could've never expected to see it in a fighting game!

And I have to commemorate the addition of original characters into a fighting game like this. With all these big names, I can only imagine the pressure to add a character able to stand on par with the rest of the roster as a designer. Reindog is so good though! His design is inviting, the backstory intriguing, and seeing him in combat helps him feel at home with everyone else! He really feels as special as his inclusion is!

If the Iron Giant is any indication for who I can expect to see added in future updates, then I have a lot of amazing additions to look forward to. And I want to end this all up with a big thank you for all the hard work that was put into his game already, and I eagerly look forward to playing this game fully when the time comes! 😊 💚 🎮

I think my attacks lag a little too much, but that might just be the latency in my controller. Shaggy is very fun to play against people who don't seem to know exactly what they're doing, Taz is a little on the weaker end in my opinion, as is Superman and Harley, but they've just felt underwhelming when I've been using Shaggy.

I’m not a huge fan of the visuals and wish they were a bit more detailed. But it’s fine, seems pretty good so far. Kind of odd not to have local multiplayer yet, will be a lot more fun once that’s added. Pretty slow boot up of the game but at least loading within the game isn’t too bad. Except for the tutorial, thought it had frozen as the level loads and then nothing for a minute until Shaggy loads in. So yeah, pretty good so far and really liked how Batman’s stage has the Batmobile from the Tim Burton movies with good music and the Joker on the back display from the animated series.

the game is pretty strong. The gameplay is accessible and Technical. The art of the game is realy beautiful. The soundtracks are average, they lack of Some epicness like some of smash bros. I think the weak point of the game actually is the ui navigation in menus (i play on console).

Just got done with my first session of the game and I'm definitely a fan--though perhaps the netcode could be improved upon? Often times my own character tends to stutter or lag behind what's actually happening--it tends to happen more in 2v2s than in 1v1s, but I'm sure that's a common bit of feedback to help the game's quality. I do think the cast in general could be a little heavier, but with how technical the movement can be and such, I understand if that's not something the devs are willing to change.

Huge fan of the game but a couple of things need work particularly:

  • Taz needs to be reworked, in particular the tornado attack (maybe make it have a long charge up or something?)
  • Velma's homing attack should be slightly reworked (less homing) and cop car should be buffed a bit, otherwise she's great and an awesome fighter
  • Personally think Batman's downward kick special should have its range slightly extended to make him a bit more viable
  • Harley Quinn's invincibility when using side attacks is a neat idea but needs a rework
  • Reindog is a way too high damage but moveset is a banger

I've been against double taz' who time their spins to become difficult to punish, its probably possible but very difficult. Also finn + tom and jerry can go crazy with the range plus melee. Tom can setup a combos for finn often and it goes hard sometimes.

Maybe but not every move, I personally don’t have a problem with taz at all I honestly I think everyone is pretty balanced, sure characters will be at an advantage to some characters then a disadvantage to some….my only problem so far is if there are two Velma’s in a 2v2 all I see are chat boxes flying around the whole screen that’s why I’ve been sticking to 1v1s and my friends are dumpster juice 😂

This game is amazing, It's one of the first games I actually like and compare sometimes to Super Smash but the only problem is that there are no servers near my country which is in the middle east. most fighters use Peer2Peer which I would normally get used to but as this game uses servers, its too laggy for me sometimes as I am not in EU, CA, NA and etc.

Multiversus needs to tweak the sound effect of hits, and either change gravity or alter animations so characters feel less "slidey" in the air, and it's perfect imo.

If there's something that could make doubles a little easier to follow, maybe that too, but I'm not quite sure what it would be. Playing and watching, it's very hard to follow at times. But it plays GREAT.

So much love for fans is going into this game, and it's being taken seriously! I'm so excited for its future...

Garnet SHOULD feel more agile and versatile with her kit. But instead, most of her moves are very single purpose, linear and stagnant. Im not saying Garnet is overall bad, she's just lacking in a lot of areas compared to the roster.

Her D-AIR is too slow and choreographed, making it hard to hit. Even on hit, sometimes they get sent in a way where you cant do a proper follow up. Her RECOVERY could be A LOT more as it is really underwhelming and stagnant in her kit. It doesn't allow for good follow ups and only fits into like 2 strings. Her N-AIR is almost useless. It has permanent charge up, tiny hitboxes that forces you to stack to hit it and has absolutely no value on hit. Even when used defensively, it isn't a good option because of the unreliability. It's just very awkward in her kit and could use a complete rework. Her S-AIR is going in the right direction but needs more thrust and combo potential. It needs her other moves to enable it to be of more use. UP-AIR is in the same spot, but is too punishing on miss with little reward on hit while also not having enough versatility.

Ground & Special
Ground has a glaring issue. Her playstyle is WAY too reliant on S-Ground and that's because it's the only grounded move that has the versatility that Garnet needs. Her other grounded moves are either stagnant, low use or too stationary. The only move excluded from that is D-Ground as it has plenty of versatility potential but needs her other moves to allow for that potential to be used. N-Ground is in the same spot as D-AIR and recovery. Too slow and choreographed while also being underwhelming and stagnant. UP-Ground is in the same spot as UP-AIR. Her UP-Special doesn't fit well into her kit at all. The clap could also be different but not that bad. D-Special could allow more after-hit creativity. S-Special is fine but the side bash could use a bit more. And her sing buff is fine.

I really hope they either make a game mode with zero perks or just flat our remove the perk system because I don't see it going over well with people. Partner and I invited 6 others to the alpha, only me left interested but even then my interest has dipped dramatically, I don't want to be at a disadvantage outside of my control for just picking a new character, the whole appeal of fighters is skill > everything else. Not time played + skill > skill. 😦 Disappointing feels.

Just a couple thoughts I had after playing for a few days.

I really don't like daily quests that force me to play differently then the way I want to play. I have quit a game before because of annoying daily quests.

Also, I have encountered Taz going invisible a few times.

The battle pass glitches out when you try to scroll through it.

Finally, I'm kind of worried that perks = p2w; even if that's not true, you should be worried about people coming to that conclusion.

Honestly my opinion on the perks system: I don’t like it. I just can’t see it ever being used in a way that’s fun for everyone. New players (or players who want to try a new character) will always be put at a disadvantage compared to a lvl 15 Superman with ideal perks.

It’s already rough enough to fight someone who has spent more time with their character, perks only make a bad time worse

On the other hand I don’t think perks are powerful enough to justify their existence in the first place: it’s minuscule things like 5% more damage or an extra jump that most players aren’t going to think to use.

IMO, whether you use the perks or not, it’s not enjoyable for both sides. 100% only gonna play a perks-free mode if that ever gets added

The menus on Xbox One can be quite slow or choppy which is an issue that persists all the way from the main menu up to gameplay starting- though on more than one occasion, I’ve loaded in after a match has started.
Some text can also become functionally illegible as a result of the text almost entirely overlapping. I’ve faced the issue mostly in character move lists- I haven’t been able to read any of Finn’s moves in game

I’ve been playing since the alpha went live and I really enjoy it, there are a few hiccups online that I’ve experienced that I’m sure will get smoothened out as time goes by

For my critiques I have a few, one is the soundtrack, I feel none of the tracks so far have really got me pumped to play as a fighting game should, with some great remixes/original compositions in the style of said worlds would really elevate the game further in my opinion

As for the perk system I can see people getting creative with the combinations especially in team play although I usually just auto select and just get straight to the game, I wonder if there will be a game mode to just play without them

I look forward to the beta in July and I’ll keep playing until the alpha test is over, you have an amazing game here Player First Games and one I can really see thrive in the platforming fighter genre 😄

The menus on ps4 feel very choppy and induce frame drops very easily [ could be just a console issue ] when moving from collection to battle pass or changing character. I know this can happen due to your friends list but I have 20 friends overall and 3 that are usually online, I doubt it is caused purely by your friends list.

I don’t know if this is already a thing but I would create a tournament and casual map pool. Specifically removing scoobys mansion from the tournament set as some characters can really abuse the platforms disappearing and most games can take forever if both players play really passive on it.

I’m sure you guys already know but the Taz invisibility glitch literally ruins matches for ps4 players so hopefully that comes in the full game.

To help new players, I would add a glossary of fighting game words and multi versus words which help understand inputs and stuff like that.

There’s an animation glitch where characters go into the stage once hit down into it. It’s purely visuals but would be nice to fix to avoid confusion

Would be great to use ping instead of bars to indicate internet connection.

After playing for a while there are a few things i notice.

Dodging and fastfallings animation look super similar so its hard to tell what option people are using for movment makes it hard to keep track of how many dodge they have left in the air .

Wiffing attakcs on some charcters like finn has almost no down side due to low end lag and being able to dodge cancel missed attacks. does nothing for scaling or no extra commitment.

Being able to attack the moment you dodge makes going for extended strings unless off stage and you are above them almost not worth going for. atm all im doing is just runnign around get a hit . 2 or 3 hit combo then reset. it does not feel like a fighing game nor a platform fighter. its like we player fencing but when i get a "hit" i get 2 extra hits then we start the "round over"

Couple of things for me 1. the announcer volume is a bit too loud compared to in game music. 2. The game ends sometimes on a victory or defeat buts goes to a black screen, and doesn't register as a game being played. 3. The Xbox version keeps syncing the account and nothing happens afterwards. I've been on screen synced for 30 minutes but it's not syncing It's been so loading and the animated character has stopped spinning. Only background music playing.

I have some bugs to report lags idk. In the middle of the game everyone except me runs of stage and then i die and everyone is one the stage. Then i randomly get teleported out of the map and die again. In another game i randomly get shot at the ground three times after an harley hit me and i mean not the normal down up down like in the scooby doo Mansion if u get hit with much damage no no no i mean i got hit and just hit the ground 3 times and then Rocketet in to space. Besides a few of the console bugs: Like the Taz invisibility and perhaps any other general bug. I think all the game needs is some stability fixes, on console (ps4/ps5 versions) it tends to spike or unsync a bit more often than PC versions.

I wish more of the cast had cooldowns on moves that warrants them. Some of these moves are a little too ridiculous and advantageous for people to be spamming them as constantly as they do. A decayed Taz tornado should not have that as much knockback as it does

It seems really inconsistent on what moves get a cooldown - for example, Taz has unlimited tornadoes and projectiles, Shaggy has unlimited sandwiches, but Bugs doesn't have unlimited pies. Rather than add more cooldowns, I think it'd be more enjoyable to have less cooldowns.
It'd be better to have moves work more like Steven where his shield platform goes away when he uses a new one rather than having a cooldown associated with it. Bugs doesn't need the huge cooldown on his ACME rocket, just don't let him pull out a new one until the first one either explodes or is gone off the side / bottom of the screen (as it is right now, he can actually have 2 at once because it takes less time for the cooldown than it does for the rocket to come back down if aimed up). Batman doesn't need a 'cooldown' on his smoke bomb, just either make it unusable until the first one dissipates or make the new one remove the old one like Steven's shield platforms. For something like Tom's tennis balls, just have him only able to have 2 out at once. There's ways to balance these moves that doesn't rely on forcing long cooldowns on everything.

The matchmaking in teams made and 1v1 seems to be waaaaay off atm. I can be playing a level 2 or 3 character and I will get matched with a level 14 opponent. Same in teams where I might be level 4, my teammate level 3, and we get matched against a level 12 and 14 team. Anyone else experiencing this?

I honestly prefer the traditional stock matches for 2v2. I just think its more exciting, allows for potential clutch plays with one remaining team member. Plus it just feels kind of bad to instantly lose the game because your teammate sd'd a bunch of times or died early.

Restarting GC controllers (either by holding X+Y+Start or unplugging and replugging in the adapter) doesn't seem to correct neutral inputs as it does in other games. i.e. if one of the sticks is registered as inputting upward when it positioned in the neutral, it can't be corrected without restarting the whole game.

I don't know how hard it would be to do but, I think the camera really needs to be pulled in for 1v1 matches. I get why it's zoomed out more for the 2v2 this game is built around, but that's for when four players are on screen. When it's a 1 on 1 match the camera being pulled out so far can get really annoying

Arya's perks feel a little boring compared to the stuff other characters get. Passively stacking a debuff when landing dagger and passively getting a face when killing someone are not nearly as fun as stuff like Jake's bouncing house or Harley's directional dair

This game is great however it's so laggy I don't go 1 second without being teleported to the other side of the map or into the dead zone and dying because of lag it's making the game unplayable and I don't know if it's on my end or because of the game but it's really bad and I feel like the battlepass doesn't give you enough missions or the missions are just too much to be able to play it and get everything, I also think that there should be things like ultimate moves, grabs and shields, however apart from all of that this game has huge potential and will be a high rated game very well done developers can't wait to see what comes in the future

Hey, brand new here so I'm not sure what's been said or not, but I've got two big issues right now with the game that I think need balancing before full release overall. Jake the Dog stretch ability doesn't seem counterable (if it is, I'm not sure how) and it does damage which is a bit ridiculous. I think either making it a easier to counter move or take away the damage it does is fine. Secondly, Taz tornado is just ridiculous. If a team loses round 1, they pick Taz because he is a free win machine. So I say nerf the knockback on tornado by a decent amount and it's fine. Killing Center Stage at 50 is kinda ridiculous imo. Other than that, I'm super enjoying the game and see the hope for a bright future it has.

The game's "team color off" option shouldn't make two of the same characters the same color. If you pick Shaggy and your opponent is also Shaggy it should prioritize you as the "default" color and give them their team color to try to eliminate confusion as much as possible.

After hitting "high" ranks (12 on character, 250 on 1v1s overall) here are my major issues with MVS

-The lack of committal moves overall feels jarring, especially with zoning and projectile play already being strong. Turning around mid jab strings, cancelling out of charges and defensive options overall feel like there's nothing some characters can reliably do to punish them.

-Haunted Mansion really has no reason to be in the normal map pool for 1v1s. It slows the game down to a crawl, and the base spawns are way too far apart to even get an early hit on. If the walls/floor were missing from the start, might be better.

-Characters with automatic followup moves (Garnet, Arya, Jake) can't reliably hit them. It's incredibly obvious with Arya up-special, where you sometimes fly in the other direction and can get killed for what is described as an "dash in the direction the enemy is knocked in".

-Confusion on character states and incorrect tooltips. Arya's Dagger is a main issue with both of these. For one, she's fully active during her dash, meaning she can get hit out and... cause confusion when the knockback takes place in a different point to expected. Also, the dagger 2 states it'll hit everyone along the path when it doesn't.

-Homogenization of perks. Every combo character is forced to take triple jump, every zoner has to take increased projectile damage and ignite. If a perk is overused, it needs to be nerfed, or in the case of stuff like projectile ignite, seriously looked at.

I think there should be a large variety in stages moving forward.

It be cool to have a few with fun gimmicks like an auto scroller stage or one that's nothing but flat ground (tho you can get knocked out from the top and sides). Maybe have a vertical tower stage.

I say this since most of the stages (apart from their themes) seem pretty similar in layout.

I think the stages should have more dynamic to them like maybe make them change environments and such. Please make the BGM a bit more exciting, not sure how to explain it but right now the music feels to “heroic. Maybe take the bgm or themes from each characters movies or series and give it a unique remix with loads of energy, like a rock/orchestral version of the scooby theme for example. And also maybe the moves could have more “humpf” I’m not sure how to put it in words but I want them to feel more impactful maybe add an extra animation effect when they are hit or wackier sound effects.

I've really been loving the game, like I've gotten several hours out of it just playing Training mode. There's some really unique platform fighter design in here, and I'm really looking forward to the full release. I feel like the hitstun is a bit too low, a lot of things that look like they should combo don't (like why is Jake up air not a true combo? Am i just bad?), the moveset variety really suffers from the homogenized tilts and smashes (or their equivalents), and a lot of moves are significantly weaker than they appear, but I could definitely see this all being intentional courtesy of the doubles focus. Overall, though, this looks very promising.

The Taunts with animations I can understand, but it seems odd how the icon emotes have the same treatment.

Perhaps make it so that that Icon bubble follows the fighter until it's animation is fully played out?

Game honestly overall has as amazing flow and charm to it. All in all I have minor complaints. The only complaint I have in specific is for Batman. I just feel his grappling hook should be increased in speed. Throughout numerous games it seems to be the move ineffective move all around. And his bomb as well. It’s a special ability that does 2 damage? That should be buffed, and given a burn affect. Cause as of right now it has basically no use.

Velma’s “My Glasses” move should be reworked this way:
Passive - Taking too much damage causes Velma to have her glasses fly off her face (her exclaiming her iconic line), knocking back enemies. Her movement is slowed and controls are the opposite and can be launched further without her glasses.
Active - Allies can pick up her glasses and throw them to her for her to be reoriented, stunning enemies for .5 seconds and back to normal movement and less launching power. If she “finds them” herself, upon retrieving them, her and her ally (or her in solo) get damage reduction for 2 seconds as a reward for getting them back.

The game is great, but lacks of local game, i mean it needs the capacity of playing with friends in the same console or pc, this would be great for reunions with friends or for people that have brothers and sisters, online playing with a friend in the same console can be great too ( you and your friend/bro/sis in the same console Vs internet random people), I hope the game implements this on the final version. This game is amazing. I seriously love and enjoy it, but there is an ongoing issue which is inevitable for me. Taz (Tazmanian Devil) seems to be invisible every time I go against him. It also seems that PC players do not have this issue, due to my friends and I noticing it. Game Feedback for Multiversus closed Alpha build...
At first I felt like the battle pass progression was really slow. But the more I have been playing it feels to have been progressing faster, I'm guessing I am just starting to hit landmark achievements now.
The character quips are great, I just feel like they need to be heard/used more often and stay varied. I love how they say different things to different fighters, that is legit.
I have a note here about getting matched up about against higher leveled players over and over. I think I was just getting partnered with people using low level characters and I was using a new character. So that must make the match making very difficult to balance.

MY TWO TOP NOTES/SUGGESTIONS:
Items and pick ups... That feels like one of the biggest noticeable things that is highly lacking. Specially compared to the main competition to this game, super smash bros, the item drops in Smash Bros make that game so much more fun by having the crazy item drops that are in their matches much more often than Multiversus. The simple whip cream pie is just not cutting it with me, doesn't do enough damage and is not game changing enough. Maybe make it have whip cream cover the players screen when they get hit by a pie or something. I do like the big Looney Tunes Safe that you can break and get items out of. You should make 3 or so items come out. And put a thal weapons in it, like hammers that look like Harley Quinn's, or a jack hammer or something. Stuff that will make players fight over them, as of now I feel like besides the health, most players do not even try to pick up these items in the game. I could go on longer but I think you get the point.
My second main note for ya WB, you need to really work on these levels. I feel like it must be because this is the Alpha, but I am not getting too many different varieties of levels... And I do not really find the levels to have the fun details that I expect them to have. The janky Nickelodeon all stars brawl even has much better levels than the ones in this build. Nickelodeon definitely went over the top on a few of their levels that pretty much made playing a few too difficult. But the levels need to have a bit more details that come from each characters IP a bit more than they have so far. I think adding small Easter eggs in the background of maps that hint at future characters would be a great idea too. That would get more YouTubers making content on game predicting what could be coming and what not.

I have my fingers crossed that you add a couple other characters in this closed Alpha build, like Gandolf or Iron Giant. But I don't want to come off sounding entitled, I. Just excited to see how far you guys end up going with this game. I see the potential, it is a fun game right now with excellent mechanics.

opinions so far on the game:
games totally fun but like ive said perviously there's just a lot of problems;
~ the lab usually crashes randomly idk if that's just a me problem or wut, it keeps happening when I select batman

  • some characters feel really underpowered to others (i.e. garnet compared to shaggy) it's a little sad there
  • dairs are annoying to land having to fast fall in order to actually dair it's a common issue in matches literally everyone has had this happen to them
  • some hitboxes are super wonky (supermans side special)
  • combos again are rather strict and tend to act weird (i.e. garnet's uptilt follow ups, mostly every uair follow up and utilt follow ups)
  • its a little tedious to level, it's totally fine though

The game needs a menu area with the descriptions of each debuff. it impossible to know all the uses of a mechanic if there's nothing telling us what it does .

hit registration needs work in my opinion, seems like a lot of hits aren't really hitting, another thing is like what gets to hit cause there are major inconsistencies with what hits first at times.

Is there a way that perks can be semi permanent when unlocked? It feels weird trying new characters and being perkless. I’ve played the game for a bit so my MMR likes to match me up with people who are fully perked up. So when I play a lvl 1-5 character. I sometimes feel like I’m throwing the fight.

I guess this isn't so much feedback, but I did want to say that the game looks really good. I didn't get anything on it first hand, but, from what I've seen of other people playing the game, it looks like a ton of fun and like it is well put together even if it's still an alpha build. Looking forward to the full release and thank you for all your hard work ^_^
