People rag on Playstation All-Stars, but it did have good things in it. There's a reason why I mentioned the rival cutscenes there afterall. In the game, when the rivals match, they either meet their complete opposites or character that is just as similar such as when Cole McGrath fought Raiden from Metal Gear Solid: Revengance or when Jak and Daxter foguht Ratchet and Clank. Something similar could be written up for character rivalry fights in whatever Arcade mode they'll build in Multiversus, like maybe Superman feeling empathy for Finn being the last human, or Harley Quinn being jealous of Tom and Jerry being able to take out and store giant weapons without a fuss, or even something even more outlandish like Dot Warner telling her brothers how jealous she is of Lola Bunny getting a bigger following because of some differently drawn assets (Good night, everybody!) while Lola stands there listening to her talk trash.

The first was the balancing

Kratos and kat were miles above everyone else

To a point that the game just wasnt fun

The second was the killing system

The supers were fun

But some characters had level 3s that could straight up rip through 3 stocks before they ended

Everything else about the game was good

Even the items were fun

If you ask me, I'd take the KOFAS approach, where tracks are divided into series (probably multiple for a series) or groups of characters, with some characters having their own, unique tracks.

Wasn’t sure if this was just for feedback/suggestions on the discord or the game or both, but I think a 1v1 Tag Team type mode would be awesome in this especially since it’s main focus is teams and not everyone will have friends to play with also cpu’s are unpredictable sometimes so still a bit ehh so a tag team mode similar to maybe not MvC (unless it’s maybe like MvCi) idk how well that would work but maybe tekken tag tournament or Mortal Kombat 9 maybe would be super dope and allow for some cool team related things still and allow for something new and cool in MultiVersus while still working around what the game is mainly for. Ofc regular 1v1s are there for people but adding something like a tag mode could make things really interesting while at the same time continuing to build on the team stuff.

Sorry one more thing as well i’m really hoping for some form of blocking/shielding and maybe grabbing in the game 😅.

Normally I would agree with you there, but where you have more than just "attacking" characters, I don't think there will be a major focus on 1v1s. For example, Steven vs Superman doesn't seem very, er, balanced in a 1v1

So hear me out I had an idea. What if you had to sets of specials for each character between signals and doubles. One struggle I see the game having is the specials not being useful on signals. I mean really look at it. Most of the specials we saw are mostly useful in doubles.

Like, just look at it! There isn’t any theme or pattern to how the characters are listed out. I do have suggestions on what to do and those are

🇦Alphabetically, just like the website

🇧Series, start with the oldest to newest franchise

🇨Characters, and by that I mean by year and month in which the characters came into existence. It would obviously start with Superman (1938) and end with Reindog (2022). For characters who debuted on the same year then have them separated by month like with Tom & Jerry (February 1940) and then Bugs Bunny (July 1940).

Also, here’s one more that I just thought of
