The balancing team needs a playtester in ranked that can test out your changes at higher tiers of play.

I absolutely do not understand how you felt Velma's Mystery Van needed to be easier to escape when caught and to self destruct after 10 seconds when Velma is almost always high damage when she obtains it and there is a huge array of ways to destroy/avoid the van aside from just killing the Velma.

Velma is one of the fighters that doesn't have very easy kill moves in high levels of play. She did NOT need a powerful nerf to one of her few ways of creating pressure.

Rifts Feedback: Golf is profoundly un-fun. At the barest minimum, give us a trajectory preview. The ball takes too long to stop bouncing when it completely fails then it just stops for no reason right before rolling into the hole.
Remove respawn bubble entirely. It is a handicap and serves no practical purpose.
Let us chose to do a rift without the help of a bot if we want to.

Those feel a bit limiting thematically, while things like the "Mistakes were made", "The Hypergalactic Universe", "A universe of Potential", "Bravos", "The Daily Planet", "Grunge Match", "Encore encore!", "Magical" and "Jinkies, ghost!" feel pretty versatile with placing characters in front of them

I was slightly dissappointed the mythic vista didn't come with any banners of like a school library, the school grounds, or like the actual mythical like background of the rift.

Fighters Road is basically a new player killer. Here are potential ways to make it better. Either:

1. Change it so that you can pick which fighter to work on but you cannot select the 2 most recently released heroes unless you have all other fighters already unlocked. This let's new played get characters they want without having to grind for 200 hours, which they won't do. They'll just uninstall.

Or

2. Make it so every other fighter road unlock you can pick which character you want, again excluding the 2 most recently released characters. This is basically a middle ground proposal that keeps some of the intent of the fighter road track while still allowing players to pick some of their favorite characters over time.

(yes they nerfed the gleamium by 40). and with no way to bank Fighter road XP (being auto changed to BP XP which is....dumb for the fact you are literally done with the BP) the infinite tier is not worth even doing really...

My review and feedback about the game in general since day 1 season 4 until now

1. Gameplay

With short hop and fast fall, I think overall the gameplay became little bit faster, so i think it’s a bit improvement for the game.

2. Fighter Road
   I think it feels better than FC (Fighter Currency), but I wish **we can choose any character that we want to grind **instead of in order

3. Rift Mode
   Same as usual since S2, there’s no cinematic scene like S1. It’ll be great addition if rift mode has it at least one or two scenes per season.

4. Balance
   Personally, I’ve no comment about it because I’m only main 2 chars until now.

5. Netcode
   From Day 1 season 4, since “crashed” didn’t happen again, instead it replaced by “Desync” issue where you’ll get disconnect right before the match about to started and get penalty because of it.
   After I complained about it in #netcode-chat , my problem had been solved and finally I’ve no issue like that until now, that’s great news.
   But I think there still a lot of players who probably have same issue like mine, so I wish from PFG members can notice in this chat and address it that we can discuss about that issue more further in #netcode-chat **
   And also, laggy is still happens and worst scenario is that laggy can cause desync and players get penalty, but personally I can’t really complaining because there are many reasons for that cause, but i wish this laggy can fixed as soon as possible**.

6. Stage
   After I watched several tournies like Valhallan Order, Igloo, Schwifty Showdown, and Frostyverse. All of them mostly pick only 2 stages iirc, like Trophy Edge version 1 and Sky Arena no platform version. I dunno why, but I suggest next time every new stages it’ll be great if they **have another version that similar like Trophy Edge version 1 and Sky Arena no platform version as a standard for competitive stage ** .

Low Playerbase = the longer of matchmaking
So, i'm really3 hope and suggest that the devs can grant what community mostly want, we have to increase playerbase as much as possible
Of course i'm sure every big patches from day 1 new season patch and midseason patch can increase it significant, but since from S2 until S4 they can't hold playerbase longer, only for few hours than back to 400-1k playerbase from steamchart perspective

If you have 13 or 14th gen and your cpu power setting in motherboard bios isn't set to Intel standards or limit power that might be your problem. I don't have the best internet connection in the world... But I can't get my head around how I don't seem to have any real problems with any other games or online stuff and then I can't have a single smooth match in multiversus... Today for example, I had a fair ammount of "playable" matches where I only notice a couple of weird movement delays, drops or hitbox misses either from me or my rival. But its only gotten worse throughout the day, literally my last 5 matches have been right down unplayable with my character frozen in plaze and seconds to a minute later receiving all the inputs.

I really love this game but between making things and characters harder to grind for people that can't play every single day and just finding this terrible matches it's becoming harder and harder to come back to it.

my suggestion with them is to just get used to everything. I take a lot of L's just because I like trying new stuff but it usually pays off in the end

trap for example can combo off jab 3 if they dodge in or just fall straight down, it can kill on or off cooldown, if its down you can set it off yourself with tennis balls and it flies up a decent distance and if it hits around 110 depending on stage and char it can kill

air up special is a combo tool if you don't have jerry and can dodge cancel after it. Most people are bad with tom after losing jerry but he's still good you just lose jerry shot and jerry rocket killing, and tennis balls flying back to you but you can shoot them at the enemy and still hit them while they're bouncing around

Yes, that's what he got to work with. His other moves are garbage, why would expect anything else. His normals are bad so he has to run and zone to bait something he can follow up on. That's how he is right now.

I wouldn't call it rocket and safe kills rng either, it works as expected.

Rocket launches up, safe launches away from impact. If you drop a safe on up rocket and someone runs into it, the safe will launch them into the rocket and the rocket will launch them into the blastzone.

Bugs is pretty much beaten out by patience. That's gonna get a lot easier, when shields come online.

I hope PFG makes Bugs other moves more useful by then.

Hi Multiversus, I don’t know if you guys actually read our messages but I’ll go for it anyway. I’d like to ask if you guys could buff Jake, I really enjoy playing with him, but I feel like at a certain point he becomes too easy to read and lacks versatile approach options. His jab is mostly unreliable unless used with a dodge, and on top of that his kill options feel limited, and require you to be very precise causing you to work for a ring out more than other players. At a very competitive level Jake is nearly impossible to use without having everything go perfectly.

His options are so limited, and sluggish that it becomes really easy to find out what he’s going to do. Even just a speed buff would be amazing. He’s like shaggy in terms of a basic kit but very weak in comparison. As to how shaggy still does around 14-20 damage per kick is beyond me, but there’s a reason player counts are dropping and your creators are leaving the game

Tbh 😂 most of my kills with him are bat, safe spike or jab. Killing with anything else on him is incredibly hard. Forward air is doable but it has to come from a bounce followup, hard read or a hard mixup.

Its annoying for sure , but being honest I can't see him played any other way with how he is right now. Whiff the kick =get punished, whiff jab = get punished etc. Most of his moves have horrendous recovery before he can do anything. Which for him I'm honestly fine with it, but most.the other characters don't have to commit to attacks that hard.

rivals is player friendly when it comes to battlepasses, yes they are paid, but once we get em, they are here to stay while multi fully operates with fomo

besides all playable characters (which is the bone and meat of the game) are accesible immediately as they come out

Yeah, but lacks all the nuance of things. That game is run by Netease and they've got tons of money to throw behind the game until it works. They don't have to charge you for each character. WB on the other hand their biggest think is Mortal Kombat and it's failing. Quality wise outside of gameplay both games are good, both charge around $25 for skins but that's industry standard at that this point

Having all characters unlocked in the game would be nice, though realistically I doubt even half of the playerbase is using all of em. You just unlock or buy the ones you like.

Tourney Gamemode (Local Tourneys and World Cup Majors)

A new gamemode that lets you play brief tourneys. It’s similar to Arena but more focused on raw gameplay with no buyable upgrades. It could work in two main ways:

Option 1

1. You can join a 1v1 tourney or a 2v2 one. Both modes will have 16 people.
2. Each game is best of 3, the final is best of 5.
3. If you lose a set, you are eliminated and your opponent advances to the next stage. So if you won your first 1v1, you’d eliminate your opponent and move to the final 8, scheduled to go up against another winner who advanced.
4. The win loss record from each game is shown in the tourney screen which will just be a basic tourney chart. So if you won your set 2-0, you’ll be going 2-0 into the next round.
5. You can spectate the rest of the tourney if you get eliminated.
6. If you win and finish before your scheduled opponent, you will have to wait for them to finish. It’d be awesome to be able to spectate any ongoing game!
7. Winners get fat rewards, not sure what but a unique skin that only is given after winning a tourney with your agent would be amazing.
8. A perfect performance would be someone who wins every game in every set — 2-0 at round of 16, 2-0 at quarter final, 2-0 at semi final, and 2-0 at the final.
9. I use the number 16 because it’s probably the quickest to fill right now and anything else would result in long waits sometimes.
10. These could be your regular joinable public tourneys.

Option 2

Once a month, or every 3 months, there’s a major tournament that you have to qualify for throughout the season. It’s like the MVS world cup. To qualify, you have to have a certain minimum of tourney points, which are earned in ranked matches. The top 64 users qualify for the world cup — which is scheduled to start at an exact time. If someone misses their game then they are dq’d. The 64 players then undergo the same flow as the local tourneys but it’s just much bigger.

This would attract a lot of competitive people and it’s a nice innovation i’d love to play and watch too

To PLAYER FIRST GAMES, I THINK IT WAS A MISTAKE OF REMOVING THE “Last Stand” PERK FROM THE GAME WHERE YOU SHOULD’VE REMOVED “STRONGER THAN EVER” PERK INSTEAD. Because this perk makes the matches go on for so long and various players are annoying for running away to protect their gray health And don’t want to lose so easily like WHINY LITTLE BRATS. The Last stand wasn’t the problem, Stronger Than Ever was the real problem. so please for the next patch R E M O V E “STRONGER THAN YOU” Perk and bring back the “Last Stand” Perk instead. Thank you
