a command grab that beats moves? neither of his have armor or big hitboxes, if you're hitting him when he grabs you, you don't take damage and he does lol

his best strengths by far are lasers (when they work), dodge jab (assuming not in burnout), and his edgeguard setups. his onstage combos in my experiences have been much more limited than the rest of the casts', but they set up a strong advantage state. while I enjoy this, having true combos is always better, and I feel like you can DI out of his much more than almost anyone else's

*this does not apply to jason or IG, who get hit for insanely long strings by everyone

superman horizontal flight beats almost every move in the game, and even without armor it's hard to counter

especially because he's super free to do it whenever he wants

ok thats super not true LOL any well placed disjoint or projectile beats it, and many character straight up outrun his flight speed

and since the hitbox is only on his upper body and he can't change momentum, all you have to do is dodge through him and hit him in the back, or hit him from the top/bottom, because his body is streched out horizontally and is therefore a bigger, easier target

and if they just keep holding it go behind them and let them give up stage control for no reason, once superman is offstage his high weight is less impactful and while he can recover from farther, his up special has a lot of startup and endlag, while his side special puts him on a slow predictable path that you can punish him for when he grabs a wall or goes over you

and if he tries to predictably side special at you just backstep and hit him with your biggest move

or just hit him with a normal move and take the trade. again, he doesn't get any damage unless he finishes the throw. if you break his grab you win the exchange

PLEASE bring back free movement and taunting at the end of the match. You're taking away a large reason to buy taunts and emotes and players ability to express themselves and have fun.

Ranked 2v2 needs more levels imo.

I think you're being too strict about stage hazards and I think levels could definitely have some variations in them. Like the side platforms in the Batcave, those go away after some damage done to them and permanently change the level. So why is the button gone from the ranked version of the Teen Titans level that changes the middle platforms into one?

I also think you could easily make a ranked version of the Iron Throne level without the side walls. I'm not bothered by it then basically just being the same as the steven universe level, I would enjoy the variation in theme and music either way.

I also don't mind if some levels don't always feel 100% fair to every single fighter. I want more variation. I want to be able to adapt my playstyle to different environments, I think that's a skill as well. I think Water Water Tower for example is HEAVILY skewed against my playstyle because it makes it significantly harder for me to land down airs and side airs on enemies which is some of my main's biggest strength. But I am fine with Water Tower existing, I will adapt. I want more levels that significantly change how you make your strategies and that might be more beneficial for some fighters than others. As long as these levels are selected randomly I don't think that's unfair, you just have to adapt.

Just today, I queued up with a friend in ranked and he was low bronze. We've only won like 3 times (2 if one didn't get disconnected) as we would get paired with player who were high Gold, Plat, and even a freaking Diamond. How does the system pair a sliver and bronze players to diamond ones? My win rate in ranked is at a abysmal 47% currently and it's not going up like this. It could even take me the rest of the season to get to gold. It's absolutely terrible.

I would like more modes in the game.

1. Arcade tower mode
   It's super simple but it's a mode you can expand on.

Classic Arcade tower: ( you choose your difficulty and there can be a choice of a 5 match tower or a 10 match tower)

Endless arcade tower (this mode you only get maybe 3-4 stocks and each level get more difficult and after you run out of thoes stocks , it's game over. You can even include a point system so there can be a score board ( so people can fight for the highest score on the leaderboard and if you wanted you can have the score reset preseason and have rewards like the top 3 will get a special prize and for the rest , there can be rewards depending on being in a certain score )

In these modes I think it would be cool if we can use our fighter perks.

Rift tower mode : this would be like the classic tower but you can mix and match your rift gems.

Tag team tower mode.
Just a tower mode but for two players

2. Horde mode

Just a mode where you deal with an endless amounts of enemies ( they all can be the different variants)

Deeeeeevvvvs, you guys gotta do work on these hitbox/hurtbox issues. I’m tired of getting hit by moves when I’m behind a character and they visually miss.

There are ZERO actual issues bigger than The Box Issue for Multiversus. All the bells and whistles are nice and we’re moving in the right direction, but too many perfectly read punishes get clipped by bad boxes. The game is gonna feel clunky until this issue is fixed. All the characters are FINE, all of them are good enough that skill factors. But if I’m still getting beat by the Game and not my Opponent, it’s a problem.

As an example, I like Smith. I would say he’s my third most played character, but I get pick ups sometimes that I shouldn’t. So it’s not all against me either, which is how I posit that it’s an actual problem.

The Box Issue has caused me to not invest as much time in the game consecutively with every season, especially with the push to PvP making The Box Issues even more glaring.

It is the Number 1 factor in my enjoyment for ranked and MvS in general. Honestly, I feel like everything else can be honed in regards to my play toward certain characters, stages, playstyles and that’s awesome. But when a move that has visually failed to connect with the intended attack, and is hitting a character standing behind them who is not involved in the attack is a bad Hitbox/Hurtbox interaction. This is also only in regards to moves where this makes sense, some moves have splat damage like PPG down attack on ground. But for instance I get a lot of purchase from Jason’s Axe when the opponent is standing behind me and I miss them. I have won matches this way. It doesn’t feel sporting.

Most of the nerfs are utterly garbage and do little to nothing to resolve issues for most of the characters. Prime example being Wonderwoman and Batman, they are still VERY OP characters that are in need of nerfs and their issues have not been adressed. I used to love playing this game so much I'd play it almost every day. At this point I open it once every 2 weeks and I even wanted to be part of the ambassador program in the beginning. But I just find Season 2 AND 3 for that matter, handled HORRIBLY. Listening to the playerbase that actually has knowledge on the game and fully going through with decisions or good options doesn't seem something PFG is really interested in, which actually kinda saddens me. The only kinda HALFDECENT nerf I could say is the jump after paddle nerf, but even that is meh, it was even unnecessary for a nerf, because it wasn't even an infinite combo, it was just a decent combo. Batman now can kill at 4 attacks, Iron Giant still isn't fixed, and actually made horrifically more of a threat than before. Superman still has the issue of needing to be over 170 to kill, ALMOST LIKE IRON GIANT, Taz got a BUFF when EVERYONE, LITERALLY EVERYONE ASKED FOR TAZ TO BE NERFED!!! The one who needs a rework with its items he can buy is Finn as the projectile shield makes him completely overpowered to any mage, in particular TnJ who are just useless then with the HUGE hitboxes Finn has with his sword, And don't even get me started on how op BMO is. Velma has been waiting for a BUFF SINCE RELEASE and doesn't get ANY! Jack's sidespecial still doesn't have a cooldown. BeetleJuice now has an infinite. LeBron can hit so hard now he can hit THROUGH groundtech and you will be stuck in loops, ask ANYONE playing against one rn. Agent Smith's gunshot attack is TOO BIG OF A HITBOX. The PowerPuffGirls literally have no obvious hitbox and need something to clearly show WHAT their hitbox actually IS! Marvin needs a complete rework cause he's a trainwreck of a character.

the best analogy I can come up with is OW1 in early 2017

it was chaotic, but if you could harness that chaos, it was fun

1v1 is a lot more tactical

you can still go aggro, but the best 1v1 playstyle is playing Neutral (on most fighters, because Batman and Shaggy can just do whatever the heck they want)

I prefer taking a more surgical approach

for example, when you play Finn against someone that goes full aggro, you play spacing and the poke game until they burn out, and then you do a burnout punish

like if you burn out against a good Finn, you are dying on most maps at pretty much any percentage, that's the main strength he has
