Who do you play? Don't try to jump fishing pole you likely will get hit. Unless they're throwing it straight to the floor. You can break the trap though depends who you play on how easy that is. Don't stay too far from them and when you see Tom or any character sweating when they dodge get more aggressive

They can't dodge out of your moves so at that point anything you do is a true combo

So use your biggest ranged moves when they decide they're gonna run all day

Not a new problem, but Portal still is super inconsistent, most of the times placing enemies (medium and smaller characters) behind him, making Rick unable to continue his combo. It really sucks because we're investing our most valuable resource, one of the longest cooldowns in the game, and not getting results because of inconsistency.

In brawlhalla it actually shows you your total history with a person if you get matched, and its well received over there, so I'm on the fence about it. I am once again requesting the Toast Currency to get changed.

It feels bad when you're unable to give your teammate or opponent toast especially if they were the reason you won the Match. Sometimes your teammate or opponent makes a nice play that deserves some recognition.

Solution:
Give players 1 toast after each match they play.

Also, Selling Toast for Premium currency feels very grimy and it shouldn't be a thing. Anyone who has bought Toast for Gleamium should be refunded for the Gleamium they've spent.

The game needs to receive a gameplay improvement, currently it is impossible to do more than 4 hits with characters like Jake or Jason without the opponent dodging it easily making you vulnerable easily, being offensive in this game is dumb right now being that any hit you give is quite easy to recover from something that did not happen in season 1. Also they should review some hitboxes of some characters like Samurai Jack in which his chain of swords, especially in his last hit, can hit through his back, being quite inconsistent since other swordsmen cannot do it despite being within their range.

They need to nerf knockback, the game currently feels like dodging 80% of the time and hitting the opponent 20% of the time making it pretty dumb

Wonderwoman needs a nerf on her shieldbashes, and not be able to float with her air up shieldbash. Their shield + armor attack with such knockback and damage is not ok. It also deletes ALL projectiles and had no way of being attacked with from the front, or actually ANY direction because of the armor she receives with it. The fact this is still in the game is baffeling to me.

Ok so you're a biased player. TnJ is one of the LIGHTEST characters in the game. They are easily knocked by EVEN BEATLEJUICE UPPERCUT at 60. They have one of the SLOWEST if not THE SLOWEST frames for attacks of the character roster. None of their attacks do more than 10 damage unlike 99% of the cast. Their only attack that does 18 damage is the dynamite which if ONLY ALL 3 DYNAMITES HIT with the perk can cuase that damage. Then aswell that almost the entire cast can kill Jerry MID AIR even with 1 or 2 hits. You seem like a player that never played First Release Beta TnJ, cause they were op. CURRENT TnJ needs a BUFF to his attack frames. If you attack with almost ANY character and press ur attack at the same time with TnJ, the other person will hit first cause their frames are faster. A GOOD TnJ player works around this by attempting not let even hit you in the first place, cause they KNOW that the moment they are in a combo their character can easily be knocked out. Plus TnJ requires probably one of the most skill to play. The character is NOT easy, so not even the 0 to 80 that you said can be done with half a brain is completely false. I know cause I play against high level Tnj's and I'm myself a pretty good TnJ. I know how the character works COMPLETELY.
