regardless they need to give finn the same treatment they gave taz. the hitboxes and hurtboxes are bad on so many chracters. so many animations dont match hitboxes at all. jokers air down special, gizmo car explosion, rick up special, forward air, and there are so many more. it just doesnt make sense how they are being looked at and considered ok. to get hit outside of the range of any of these animations is just very annoying.

I don't think Jack is completely broken but definitely feel some parts of him are too BS.

His Focus charges WAY too fast for how much stronger it makes his attacks. I think you should either slow down his focus gain slightly, or make it so that gaining max focus starts a timer where he will lose it if he doesn't use it for an attack which would force quick decisions and an offense playstyle.

His side special hitbox is also insane, it extend way behind him and quite a bit above him for a pretty long time, and for an attack that does not have a lot of cooldown. I think it extending behind him sort of makes sense in the context of him moving crazy fast, but it is how far above him it extends I do not like. I often try to come in with an attack from above to punish a Jack that missed only for my attack to get completely ignored and instead I get sucked into his hitbox, that does not feel very fair. Likewise attacking him from behind while he's doing the attack will ignore most attacks and instead suck you into his hitbox. Perhaps you don't need to nerf the entirety of this attack because I don't want Jack to suddenly become a bad character either, but I also think his side special could need at least some minor adjustments to make it more fair.

I don't think his focus is above where it should be tbh, using shaggy as a reference since its a similar style and you get it around as frequently as shaggy. Another thing that is ridiculous on Jack is his forward grounded kick. You quite literally cannot punish it on the ground unless you have a projectile or youre arya. Its insane

Yeah but with Shaggy you have to spend a time of vulnerability charging it, Jack just gets focus from playing normally. It feels like it's too much reward for not enough effort, so I think forcing Focus to require more effort or quick thinking would balance that out.

I mean imagine yourself if Shaggy got his powerup just from attacking you and not needing to do the charging move. I feel focus should reward good players, not just be a free powerup with no downside.

One more day, one more time I am asking for a way to toast people outside of the results page. Either a "toast back" button or going to your fight history and allowing you to toast people from the last 2 fights or something

Expand blast zones. There’s no reason a true combo should go from 0 to death so easy because of how close the blast zones are.

Given that there is way more air mobility in this game than say smash, I think it’s warranted to extend the blast zones out.

Here's some genuine and constructive feedback I have.

Expand blast zones. Certain moves like Finn's backpack, Arya's up nair or Rick's jetpack are disgusting overpowered because they can effortlessly take you out early.

Fix the issue with select up specials clipping through the floor and hitting opponents. WW, Jason, Batman and Shaggy can wall climb and spam up special and there's not much you can do because if you go to punish, the move clips through the floor and can ring you out.

Make dodges more impactful and have it be if you whiff a move and your opponent punishes, you can't dodge out of it. Some characters, Samurai Jack and Finn for example, can spam the same couple moves and when you punish, they'll dodge and hit the move when you're in whiff. Making the best strategy to camp and dodge until the opponent makes a mistake.

Fix the camping meta. Joker and Morty are examples of characters that just stand in one spot and spam dodges. Fixing the dodge mechanic to be more skillful may fix this issue. At the moment, all you can do is wait the opponent out and punish mistakes. Drawing out games to a crawl.

Please, PFG, ban new characters from ranked until we know how to counter them. Some character, like Samurai Jack, launched incredibly overpowered and dominated ranked. There's plenty of people saying they can't progress through ranked because Jack is just too overpowering. Also, consider banning IG from Ranked as he'll always be a broken mess. Have him be a fun party character.

We also desperately need a hurt/hit box patch.

I think ranked being based on MMR is unfair and unbalanced. Ranked should be based on what rank you are. You should fight enemies who are the same rank as you, you should fight with teammates who are the same or very close rank to you.

If you fight this way, then your rank will eventually match your skill level at higher levels. It will have a natural difficulty progression, rather than pitting you against crazy level enemies at bronze and giving me much worse chances of leveling up than someone who just started the game and is meeting people at a more natural level.

As much as I like to get just the gold rank, I can’t do it because I either glitch off or my teammate does. Kudos to some players who stops when one of the enemies glitch so the others can do the 1 on 1 instead. I give them toast. I don’t mind losing if the enemy team is just better but man.

In 1v1 after a win the camera gets to close for me. The win banner covers up the emotes. The defeat banner is fine. If there is a way to pull back the camera for a win, that would be nice. Just to show all of your emotes to the people that watch you win.

The rank system is horrible for players that didn’t play beta since most of it is based off beta rankings and game time so there’s a big pool of random people who should be in certain pools free farming lower ranks and the rp gain is horrible it’s only good if u played beta like a lot please make it balanced so ur winning more than u lose I get + 8-10 and lose 15 complete unbalance cause when I check stats the people I beat are higher ranks yet I gain the same
