I never saw it confirmed anywhere but I hope ranked skins give you the rank style skin for that character's rank not just a samurai jack skin.
Also, I hope to see the best of three matches in a near future update for ranked I do enjoy a lot of things about this game the moves are all fun. I do think a lot of things hit for this game core character design is pretty good and consistent I don't think the best way of balancing characters is to drastically change moves so they don't work the same i believe the best course for the game would be to find a baseline honestly I think jack is mostly well rounded, needing a very small adjustment if more characters could stay around him I think this game would be in a much more fun place. That being said I wish some minor tweaks were made regarding whiff timing on some moves example (shaggy kick) some moves have odd hitboxes to low hp on bugs (safe) simple things like that I think would help a lot not to say there aren’t also some in-game issues but that is to be expected on a console when cross playing it tells you that which only makes me believe it will be better in the coming patches.

Hey can we bring back Garnets armor in the auto combo? I'm sure this is a huge oversight because the text for the auto combo still says the final slam is Armored. Thought it might have been fixed in the new season 2. Her hitstun and hurtbox needs to be adjusted, too many characters are able to dodge out of her moves because its not connecting fully

in the first season I spent most my time playing Rifts, the grind to get Agent Smith and helping others do the same. It was tedious and annoying at times with higher difficulties.
NOW in Season 2 I spend my time playing Ranked to reach top #100.
That’s a big difference. I want those Samurai Jack skins!

The armature rift in techno terror is legit impossible on inanity and above. It’s bewildering just how much the armatures spoil your ko’s instead of helping you. Their killing power is extremely low.

Jason's Resurrectionist perk is basically useless atm and could use a major buff. My suggestions:

  1. The perk needs to actually activate when you would get rung out and not at the blast zone. Right now it can activate well before you would actually be rung out and cause you to lose a stock unfairly, which makes it VERY bad.
  2. The timer should be increased. Jason is a very slow character and currently you can't do much before the perk kills you.
  3. This perk should activate the Lazarus Pit effect and convert all of Jason's health into gray health. This would allow him to get aggressive while the perk is active.

(Alternatively, you could remove the timer entirely so it acts as a one-time "get out of jail free" card. In this case you obviously wouldn't implement point 3 lol. Maybe it could still give a bit of gray health tho)

(Also I would personally like gray health to not get immediately nuked by armor break moves but that might be too much to ask lol)

We need to draw attention to a problem that is happening to console players: you’ll be playing a regular match of 1v1 / 2v2 and you’ll suddenly lose control of your character causing you to walk off the edge of the map. This has happened to me and my friends several times, one of those friends has a next gen console meaning this isn’t just happening to old gen. MULTIVERSUS please fix this, it’s genuinely making the game unplayable. Thank you.

Nerf Harley and Batman. Harley’s hammer swings and don’t matter if you dodge it, it still hits from the back. Batman’s battarange breaks your combo when it returns and Batman easily knocks others out with up attack at 70-80 health. Ruins the game in PVP when the characters are not evened out in capabilities.

Water Tower needs a major overhaul. The door opening doesn’t need to be a stage hazard. The blast zones on the sides need to be expanded and the balloons can be poppable, but shouldn’t make fighters incur damage or knock back. There also shouldn’t be a second platform as it makes any heavy characters combo food in less than two hits.

I'd like to recommend something nice and simple, please get rid of the "welcome to multiversus" button just have it automatically start connecting and go straight to the lobby, like when someone opens the game it just feels like " are you sure you wanna play" type of button and honestly, sometimes when you see that you just think "do i actually wanna play" and end up closing it, it's just a mild inconvenience that could easily be rectified.

NORMALS------

Neutral special:

Similar as before but during recharge he has a shorter dig that doesn't create holes. Holes now also launches opponents out the other end of you knock them in.

Side special:
'Kiss' now make your opponent drop with force, and bounce off the ground. Enemies get hit stun from the bounce.

Up special:
'Helicopter' no Rocket just helicopter ears, it goes slightly higher.

Aerial Neutral special:
Same as grounded

Aerial Side Special:
A sideways version of, grounded up special.

Aerial Down Special:
'Pounce' Bugs dives down, if he comes into contact with an enemy he grabs them and spikes them down with his feet. If he hits ground he digs.

Aerial up special:
Same as Grounded up special.

Passives----

Holding down gives you Acme/Ammo box but the contents are variable.

Ammo:

Soft ball: fast low damage, but can interrupt anything.

Baseball: projectile medium damage, speed based charge time.

Bomb: short range ached trajectory, but explodes and causes burn

Marbles: short scatter shot, leaves marbles on the ground that will cause you to trip (ground bounce) if you dash attack over them.

Pie: breaks armor does no damage. Has a 10% chance of causing 'slow'

The Big Eraser: it erases anything it touches, players too, 1% percent chance of getting.

Back when characters like Joker and Banana Guard were new and shiny, and everyone was complaining about how overpowered they were, I personally never saw it myself. I fought people that used them well, for sure, but it always felt fair to me when I lost. Samurai Jack is the first time I have felt truly cheated in this game since Superman's instakill grabs in the Beta. It is honestly laughable just how horrendously unbalanced he is. It's taking the side-special-spam that certain Shaggy mains love to employ and cranking it up to 11. Shaggy is manageable. Annoying, but manageable. Jack is borderline infuriating to fight against.

Not because the other fighter is OP. Maybe just maybe your opponent had a good read, maybe they did something actually COOL. But if we just whine about everything when we lose, we’re just gonna end up with a game this is completely forgettable and not really that fun or unique from other Fighters.

I just hope everyone can do better, devs and players alike. Say GG at the end of the match, go back and hit the lab. Practice makes Improvement.

I think we’re closing in on “real good” territory, honestly. We’re not there yet. But the more I think about how I could theorize balancing stuff it mostly comes down to Hurtboxes, Hitboxes, and maybe some slight Move Lockout across the board?

I’m not a great player by any measure, I think. Just nearing Bronze 2 😅. But the game is fun and I think if we can avoid nerfs because of Community complaint going forward we’re definitely gonna get there. The Devs are listening it seems since launch and there’s been more good than bad. So I will continue to log on and try to hone other aspects of my play like parrying and movement tech and keep my comments constructive.

Dodging isn't enough in this game, people are always constantly spamming their attacks

And the dodge meter is so useless it's hard to punish players who have no dodge meter because they can still just run away (like 80% of Morty players)

We need better defense options other than dodging and parrying, like I've said

Blocking is like the most important thing for a fighting game to have it would make dealing with spammy players so much more tolerable

And I'm not talking about Wonder Woman's shield or Steven's shield, it's such a completely dumb argument to say "oh you want better defense options? Play Steven/Wonder Woman! They have shields!"

I wanna be able to play my main with better defense options, they gotta add a universal blocking feature for all characters smh it doesn't have to be like smash but come on a fighting game should have blocking to defend yourself from attacks smh

I just want to request to PFG to please do better testing. Samurai Jack's little kick has deceptive range and it feels ridiculous with how fast it is. Other than that the only other thing with him is obvious I don't have to say it. Still happy with this update but he is beyond annoying. Next thing is Jason. I assume you guys don't know what to do with him but i'm gonna say his jab is whiffing against Harley A LOT. It visually hits her entirely and she doesn't get hit especially if she's sliding similar to Batman they never get hit with the jab or even the axe slam which is actually ridiculous. I don't really know what feedback to give on making Jason better he's fun to play but I've heard a few Jason players quit because of Samurai Jack so I know for sure its not just me feeling his pain points way more now.

PLEASE make the Tooniverse skin not make every character have the Comic sheen on them. That only makes sense for the characters that come from comic books like the DC characters. It however does not look good with the comic book sheen on the Looney Tunes characters or the other drawn characters.

The Skin is called the "Tooniverse" skin, not the "Comicverse". Please Toon characters look like toons, make comic character look like comic characters. Remove the comicbook effect from Toon characters, it doesn't make sense, Give them slightly thicker lines or something instead.
