Visual glitch on the victory screen of rifts mode. Harley's animation is different from her normal victory screen, being her select character animation, but her hammer is invisible and the animation loops the first 3 seconds. Batman's lose animation is also glitched. In the sense that there's no animation at all

In case it has something to do with the skin, it was Harley's summer skin (Not the July 4th one) and Batman was with the base skin

It happened again with Matrix Batman. And Banana Guard also has a different victory animation than usual. Are Rift victory screens screwed in general?

There seems to be a bug with the animation that plays whenever you get a gem crate. The animations will be fine at first, but if you open a gem crate, either from completing a rift level or from a daily mission reward, the animations will be bugged when you return to the results screen. Some freeze altogether while others loop the first few frames of their character selection animations.

This might be a bug but if not I want to give this feedback. Samurai Jack's down special can be charged without focus to increase the amount of slashes + knockback of the move making it a pretty satisfying ringout move if you hit it with charge

When focus is full the move can't be charged and gains the maximum amount of slashes but it also only has the minimum amount of knockback making it feel pretty awful to use. I assume it is a bug but if not I think it should also give the maximum amount of knockback as well when using focus on it

full charged down special vs shaggy at 100 kills in training. If you have focus and use down special it wont kill

it also does 10 less dmg

So basically to sum it up.
Starting at shaggy with 100 dmg after being hit by:

1. Uncharged unfocused downspecial 108 dmg 3 slashes doesnt kill
2. Full charged unfocused downspecial 122 dmg 6 slashes kills
3. Focused downspecial (can't be charged) 112 dmg 6 slashes doesnt kill but applies 2 weakened stacks

That is ridiculous to me

His focus mechanic just feels like a less satisfying version of banana guard and shaggy. His only feel good move really is his side special. His upspecial with focus at least has an interesting interaction if you use it on ground into air down special. Other than that it all feels very underwhelming and sometimes wasted.

Ranked should not be based on hidden MMR. It makes no sense that as you try to progress through ranked, fights are the same difficulty the whole time, that isn't a rank. And it makes it really hard for players who are playing at a mid-high level and are stuck playing extremely hard players in bronze and can't progress. At this point I don't feel like I could get to Gold or above at this rate because the difficulty is just too high.

I think it would be cool if you didn't have to grind every character up from literally Bronze. Some games with character-specific ranks will make it so that all of your characters aren't trailing too far behind your highest character. For instance, in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, once you hit Master with a character, all of your other characters are at S+. They can still fall from that rank, but it starts them off higher, because odds are if you're Master with one character, you're too good to be ruining games for players in the lower ranks (and it saves a lot of grinding time).

I feel like MVS should either have that or this game should have some kind of placement system where you play some initial games and then the system judges where to start you off.

9 out of 10 console players play on wifi

there's a reason many of us PC players have to disable crossplay, because it's unplayable

but on ranked, we get put up against them anyways... and have to fight against so many laggy players

which ruins the competitive aspect of the game, as it gives them an unfair advantage

also, the game needs a rank calibration system, basically a system where people on winstreaks have a higher hidden MMR, and win more rank points in order to make them reach the skill rating where their winrate stabilizes faster

for example, some games have a system where if you are in a MASSIVE winstreak, then you are probably playing under your true skill level, so it puts you on harder lobbies

if you win the "skill test" match, you gain a lot more skill points, and if you lose, you don't lose much since you were expected to lose the "test"

and please for the love of everything sacred, make an option to not have to play against wifi players

I kinda feel though because we can die so fast in the most horrendous ways (Superman early kills, Finn early kills, IG, etc.) Maybe instead they add another Stock life?

There’s too much tech that utilizes it, and some things like IAD costs half an entire meter.

I think dodging actually needs to be improved. It seems to be a window of latency when I input dodge and actually dodge.
