Why does the dodge on this game have to be so weird? Why can't we just get set i-frames instead of this insane dodge that sometimes works but not on multihits or sometimes let's you just walk through attacks that happen way after a dodge.

I guess it's since its a team game so you feel safe if two attacks come your way, but that is still unreliable, like I genuinely can't understand how this dodge works still, does it just disable you hurt box for a specific attack or just a hit box? Is it even doing that?

My only issue with the game right now after the latest patch is just the necessity of having people to play with to be able to complete rifts. Suggestions for ranked as someone who hit masters

1. Provide an option to queue for forced Bo3 or not (When it gets implemented): This is the only game I’ve seen where they force you to play Bo3s to progress. If you’re adamant on Bo3s being enforced, then increase the point gain for winning. Otherwise the grind will be egregious.

2. Matchmake by rank and not hidden MMR: I feel like this should’ve been a no brainer? I was master queueing into golds because they had a similar hidden MMR. I got little elo for winning as a result. That’s not how ranked should work.

3. Remove some of the maps or change them: Water Tower’s platform screws over a good amount of characters. Townsville and Dexter’s Lab still have awful side blast zones that kill way too early. Put new maps in casuals first, and let players give feedback on whether or not they should be in ranked.

After i (Asia, PC Steam player) played couple hours from day 1 season 2, here are the connection issues that we got so far :

PVP, 1s ranked mode, crossplay enabled/disabled

• Stuck at match found ---> then i got Penalty RP and it said i got disconnected and i have to w8 few minutes to got matchmaking again
• Still stuck at aunthetic loading screen, it took many times to restart the game until i get into main menu
• Sometimes it brought me back to opening menu and it said disconnected, i tried get in but still i got problem (point 2)

FFA mode, crossplay enabled/disabled

• it really take longer to get matchup (disabled longer than enabled)

Rift Mode, duo

• when i (Asia, PC player) played with my friend who also from Asia, same platform and same country, my friend can't move and my char move itself, that was really weird experience imo

From other players

• EU/PC Steam player : Disconnecting every other game and being booted out to the login screen after a couple of matches. really sucks as the update is great but it's such a pain to play anything but solo rifts at the moment and won a ranked 1v1 game got booted out to the login screen and now when try to search for a match it says "matchmaking failed"
• South Africa/Playstation player : Since day 1 still can't play multiplayer, get disconnected at the start of EVERY game. Play in south africa. just wanna play man
• NA USA/Playstation/Steam player : 2s ranked mode, crossplay enabled/disabled still get desync, laggy and sometimes get disconnected

I hope these all connection issues can be fixed asap, thank you

someone earlier said jack felt weird and floaty-- its the momentum change-- it introduced a pseudo-"tech" that is really just a bug until they get around to fixing it, probably alongside the Best of 3 patch. You can dodge into the ground while holding down, angled, and you will slide as though it were an ice rink. your character jiggles like jello. This is also the cause of the new "ghost hit" where you will lose knockback and deal your move's damage, or lose knockback and do 1 percent of damage. It is also why people are now cancelling moves that hit them with dodge on accident, and why the "dodge" sfx appears while giving the enemy the hit more often than usual.

Please Adjust Hitbox and Hurtboxes, there's no reason for attacks to hit behind someone and person who tries to punish avoiding an attack gets punished because characters have a giant hitbox inside themselves, and Hurtboxes start instantly
