  • Batman (Too much going on in his kit, but recent nerfs were a step in the right direction. Batarang timer should not count on armored moves)

Going to try and be fair with this.

Just finished all the riffs with available difficulties (All solo) and yeah, this was a very time consuming, taxing grind. Made even more stressful since it's on a IRL date time limit.
Mainly on the higher difficulties, the enemies simply have too much defense. (Even at max-level gems on the Looney difficulty you still do below average damage)

Most of my victories we just abusing cheesy Ladder combos (the more accessible and powerful, the better) and it really doesn't seem to give you the freedom of how the players wants to tackle this. (Even risks developing bad habits and tunnel visioning them for new players when moving onto PVP)

Certain bosses take so little damage and due to the higher hitlag/hitstop/hitpause scaling (the state when the player freezes for impact on the hit) when they reach lower HP only slowing down your DPS and leaving you open to outside factors like Matrix Shaggy Mooks and Hot Airballoon Joker's Homing Missiles, it was also common to run out the clock and lose. (Even when you're still playing on the offense)

Please fix bosses like large Melon Steven and Shark Riendog. They take next-to-no knockback and hitstun whenever you attack them while constantly running you over and attacking.
Consider letting them take proper hitstun or slowing down the frame-data/attack-speed of their moves.

I know the devs wanna encourage pairing up with a live teammate (though I argue you both shouldn't need to have both difficulties unlock to play them together), but IMO you should still be open to complete these reasonably challenges solo. If you really want that Souls-like super tough challenge that test your ability as a player, (A fairly niche but still allowed appeal) then let us choose to set our gems at a lower level like in Xenoblade 1 Definite Edition.

Overall, I suggest lower the defense values of higher difficulty enemies to it a more fair, varied and fun challenge going further. (The enemy AI is already more threating and the lives ratio is less in your favor)
As well as addressing frustrating aspects of Melon Steven and Shark Riendog, while addressing the hitpause scaling on bosses. Also could the Stripe AI quit spamming the Dynamite (Dynambite :p) move?

Because as of now, Riffs with time sensitive rewards are too much to ask for going forward.

One last thing, but IMO the final Triple Trouble fight between Agent Smith, Jason and The Joker could really use its own boss theme.

Something tense that combines Digital, Horror and Chaos.
(Also would be nice if we could pick any character on the roster of our choice. It is the big final battle we have for now)

Hey there is a bug in certain rifts caused by Steven Universe's watermelon dude. If it picks up a key (bread buddy cage level), it will hold onto the key until the end of the timer causing a softlock. You cant die to get it to despawn, you can't use your shield/platforms to get it to go to the cage, and it forces you to restart

This is from someone who used to play more but doesn't now ... This is what they had to say about top dog challenge:

First, make it based on win/loss, not log-in time. Log-in time is arbitrary.

If you wanna keep the 100 divisions thing, divide those based on lifetime games played. You, who's been grinding since beta, won't be put up against a guy who just started, just because you happened to log in at the same time. That's an unfair metric to divide players by, and I'm personally insulted that they implemented it.

So your division is based on total lifetime win/loss average.
For placement within your division, make that based on the wins and losses accumulated within the timespan of the event. You can do this in one of two ways: 1, you can pull the average once more and use that, which maintains the whole you-dont-get-an-advantage,-just-for-starting-early thing. I would argue this does that better than the current system.
2, Otherwise you can use absolute numbers. Your total wins minus your total losses equals your placement. I think this also maintains the grindy sweatiness.
If you wanna be a little more nuanced, a bit more engaging, you could have it track stats such as amount of damage dealt, amount of damage taken, SDs, etc, and assign scores to those.
I would also like to see a way for somebody in Division A to be competitive with Division B.
Could do a ladder tourney type thing, where the winners of each division are placed into a division of their own.

After mid season patch, i felt the game's performance became worst than before from my experience
Because until now, i've played a lot solo whether in 1s and 2s, but i got desync issue a lot than usual (before mid season patch), i'm sure if i play with friend whether in pvp and rift, i'll still get desync, even crashing and laggy
I tried couple times like restart the game, even reinstall it. But it still happened.

And few days ago, even i played with a player with same region (asia), i still got desync
Now i've no clue, for the sake of the game, i can only hope that this issue can be fixed ASAP
i dunno what will happen if you release ranked mode while issues still exist
Recently i always stuck at aunthetic loading, it made me to restart the game like 3 times until i'm into the main menu

I'll keep report this until season 2 if this is still happens, to ensure this feedback/report keep getting noticed and get fixed asap

"Where's your other outfit Harley, you know I prefer that one" when I am wearing the DCAU Classic Harley Mad Love skin. I appreciate that line existing, but it feels like that line was made specifically as a comment on her new appearance so it feels kind of like a betrayal when I am wearing her classic outfit.

Please, since there's no real unique voicelines for this skin otherwise I feel this would be one of the smallest ways you could help make this outfit at least have a unique interaction in some way. Or rather, have an interaction that doesn't make sense not appear.

Please add more Signature Perks to all characters, especially the ones that have less than 3 to choose from.

Also please Buff all the Signature Perks that are rarely used, because almost all characters have one Signature Perk that is extremely useful and a must have while the other signatures pales to this perk. At the same time I really don't feel the game will be more fun if you just nerf all the useful perks everyone uses, what will make the game more fun is to buff the other perks into being viable alternatives.

Here's some notes on the least used perks of the characters I like:

Harley
Trick Shot: Harley's Side Special is crap, it has huge whiff punish and hitting enemies with it is too weak to be worth the risk. The "dodge" of this signature does nothing to improve it. Imo maybe make this Signature have the glove stun enemies, because then it would be an attack worth the risk of the punish.
Glove Control: This Signature is decent, but pales in usefulness compared to Confetti Explosion. It could do with a slight buff, perhaps make it do slightly more damage?

Agent Smith:
Buddy System: This is Agent Smith's worst perk. It it laughably situational, and not worth losing Hand_Cannon or 5% extra damage over. This perk is so inconsequential it might as well just be made a part of his default moveset. It needs a buff.
Freeze Protocol: This perk is decent but still pales in comparison to Hand_Cannon. Can't think of a good buff. Maybe have the agent apply a stack of weakened?

Make unlocking new characters cheaper. Yes people like me who played during the Beta have unlocked practically all characters by now, but the new system is way too expensive for new players. I think with new characters costing so much Fighter Currency to buy, it might make a lot of new players feel the game is too grindy and leave.

- Recently, thnx to the advice yesterday, i disabled the crossplay, the result was it still happened but less often than when crossplay enabled, that's a good thing imo. But i hope this issue still can be fixed whether then crossplay enabled or disabled

I'm really happy and appreciate for it, but things are :

  • I'm kinda worry that the update could affect the game's performance becomes worse, (like bug, laggy, desync and crashing), hopefully i'm wrong

  • Give all characters a chance becomes the rotation week char in Season 2, Season 1 joker didn't get it, not even once. ** so it must be very difficult** for** late players** who wants to reach BP lvl 70 faster

  • Make rifts in s2 more accessible (including in the future), improve the storyline and keep going in making cinematic scenes

  • For balancing chars, i'll just follow the majority as i can

Hopefully all of it can come true except point 1, keep up the good work PFG 👍

not only mashing moves out but consistently doing the same move.

for example i played against a morty and i’m pretty sure for most people in the community all morty mains consistently of is earth (Ground SP) his grenades (Neutral Special) and fire (Up Air)

doing the same moves over and over should have some sort of punishment. what attack decay did was not only force the playing into doing a different move but made it so where it was fair on both sides of the playing field & made players learn different combos with their selected character

i think as a whole attack decay should come back before they put in ranked because there are characters in the game with moves that are insanely strong so being able to just spam the same strong move over and over without any punishment is kinda unfair to other players who’s moves aren’t as strong

another thing i think PFG should add is whenever you do a instant dash attack move it takes some dodge meter. not only is the dash attacks really good for most characters but all of them are really strong and have so much knock back

example : batman’s dash attack is one of the best in the game it’s quick, it has a lot of knockback to it & it’s a two part so where when he sides that’s a hit then an additional hit after being able to spam that over and over without any punishment is also crazy

My biggest feedback in regards to balance right now is
Hurtbox and Hitbox in the game.
There are a ton of moves that whiff when shouldn't and hit when shouldn't and all in between.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned this but I know we have ranked skins or skin but I hope one day we get a ranked boarder or at least something to show we got a certain rank like a badge or something.

Please please please please. PLEASE. PFG. Do NOT allow character swapping or counter swapping like you did open beta. It was CRAZY toxic. Allowing people to switch their character mid ranked match was so boring. People would pick another character, runaway and play boring and camp or just don’t play at all and spam. Everytime someone lost, they would switch to a character like Morty and do nothing but spam and runaway.
I don’t wanna fight someone that switches to Finn and just spam’s charge move the entire game because they lost. It’s cheesy and annoying. Please. Best two out of three with the characters we chose.

It's really a good news that they'll release it at day 1 season 2
But thing is, i'm personally kinda worry because the issues like desync, laggy and crashing still exist. Plus it feel worse since after mid season patch from my exp. Day 1 season 2 will be a big update, i hope they have fix that issues from that update, and at least make the game's performance feel better, not worse
I miss when the day 1 release, it feels smooth and matchmaking always took 3 seconds before

One thing that MUST be fixed is whenever you dodge for example superman’s flight, Marvin’s bubble or stuff like that, you only need to dodge it once and you are immune to it for the whole duration of the move. For example you dodge Marvin’s bubble, he changes direction and it hits you, but since you dodged it the first time it just goes straight through. This is very annoying and confusing, they should make it like Batman’s battarang, you have to dodge it on the way to you AND on the way back to Batman or else you get hit. Hope you get what I mean!

in all honesty i think some hardcore changes need to come before season 2 but that obviously isn’t gonna happen because it’s 3 days away, they really do need to fix hit&hurt boxes for all the characters, need to add cooldowns for some characters like black adam, they need to add attack decay back or even something that isn’t as strong as attack decay but you still get punished for spamming the same move, i feel like they need to nerf some people. right now when i play the game is revolved around the same couple of characters beings played when im playing at a high level

they really add leaderboards and player ranks back instead of that lame top dog event, if there were leaderboards and players ranks that could consistently give players a reason to play the game because they would be focused on number one now when you play it’s like you barely have any incentive of playing the game you’re just playing to play especially after you finish the battle pass and do your challenges for events

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but it would be immensely helpful in the future to not require a 100% on all the available rifts to complete an event. Some people didn't hardcore grind every single day for gems, and there aren't enough good samaritans in lfg to help with Looney bosses.

please add an alt skin to costumes/characters - it's impossible to distinguish peoplke most times if you don't use team colors, and color options for costumes/skins. You could sell extra colors beyond default ones even, and for the microtransaction skins.

and please consider removing all perks except for maybe the orange ones. i'd rather see the extra effort saved on more characters and their movesets instead of taking aspects of potential movesets and throwing them into the 10th tom and jerry perk for season 8 or some crap.

it's a fighting game too. better to keep it simple with added out of game fluff like perks like, i can identify at a glance all marvin's "variations", but to know all of his and every character's perks in a fighting game or for a fighting game to have perks seems excessive. especially when there's no scoreboard to read these things on, only a few seconds.

Please avoid doing super tight events with just enough XP to get it. I am a lebron main who will be left out of the Lebron skin for the end of season event because I don't want to own Black Adam (which is the free hockey mask you gave). I know these stuff is made to force you to get the characters or the skins, but it is extra bad when I don't have any other choice. Like even if the extra missions was for a character I don't own, could be for a character that I want more than Black Adam so that will make me use my fighter coins, you know ?

@sharp fjord I'm dodging his shoulder, & his dodge jab right after I dodge the shoulder. Guess whats my reward for 2 hard reads? I meticulously space myself to punish his gargantuan jab, then get bursted into a reverse combo, because his burst does that.

Oh, and did I mention he is the only character in the game Jason can't Jab Jab sidespecial because lower hitstun? Don't know if Rick has that problem, so you may not have known, but when Jason has moves with endlag (a lot of moves btw) it gets me punished on hit. I cannot even do Air Up Special on hit into Up Air to check his mashing because I'll lose to Nair or Fair (which still scoops from behind btw)

I know this has probably been said 100 times but rifts are really not that fun to play. It really feels like harder difficulties are just the bots making assumptions on your inputs and immediately flattening you. Its a shame cause I was pretty fine with them at first but actually trying for agent smith sucked all the fun out of it. Every one of them after a certain difficulty has like one mission thats scientifically designed to kick you into a hole you cant esacpe. Combined with the rng of leveling gems up to survive and its actually awful.
