This is a fighting game after all. A lot of players are gonna be playing the game to get their frustrations out due to the nature of the game, so it's only natural players would troll you with salty emote. Tho I personally don't see the problem

One thing I'd like to see change is his passive. On his moveset list, it states that whenever he gains Grey Health, he doesn't recieve knockback, so basically armor. This passive only works on his Neutral Special's Grey Health and no other source of Grey Health. It's such a small nitpick on my end tbh, but it really isn't a passive ability if it only works in one instance. I'd love it if they made it so all Grey Health Jason got actually applied his passive

So I have several complaints about this season and all else that has been bugging me since launch. To start off, the Top Dog Challenge is a terrible idea because all that does is encourage players to sweat and be at the highest level of toxicity as well as try to find any kind of alternative to cheese their way into reaching #1 without having to do it the way it was intended.

Rifts are something that I really don't want to see make a return. It became too repetitive and got annoying very quick. For it to be the only way to get Agent Smith and everything past him is horrendous due to the rift difficulty scaling and some if not most of the boss nodes being physically impossible to beat (such as Megalodog who can barely be cheesed in order to win). It's also safe to remind that not everyone has a friend to help them do these with and it's even harder when trying to do it by yourself. Some people missed out on getting Agent Smith early because they simply could not do it. Which brings me to mention that the rift difficulty scaling is ridiculous. CPUs should play smarter, not hit harder, which should also go for us players who shouldn't do less or more damage based on the difficulty. We could be very skillful at the game but still get beaten because it takes one or two hits from the CPU for us to get rung out and lose while we only do very minor damage, that's not what any form of hard mode is about. Hard modes should be based on the CPU playing more skillfully, not just doing more damage while we do less no matter how advanced we are at the game. That being said, rifts suck, try again with something new and better.

The game has been slowed down by a lot and the models are way too big, both were perfectly fine as they were in the open beta. The lack of blocking/shielding, teching and grabbing makes absolutely no sense to me, especially the first couple listed. I don't see how you could include parrying but not include blocking in some kind of way, that is one of THE MOST important tools in any kind of fighting game. Dodging isn't enough either because it's limited and players will almost always spam it without receiving much penalty and sometimes it doesn't function properly. The dodge spamming should be slowed down if overused to the extreme for more strategy, which is also where a blocking/shielding button would come in handy so dodging isn't a full requirement. Teching and grabbing are also important kits to a game like Multiversus, being able to tech would help prevent players from bouncing all over the place when we get launched and grabbing would prove useful as a counter for when players are blocking.

That's about it from what I had to say. Some of my friends have felt the same way about it which brought us to share our thoughts and come up with this list, so I really hope these changes can be heard.

You can't be saying that you Don't like people who sweat and then just completely disregard the pve content that was placed into the game exactly for that reason. If you don't like toxic players during the top dog event, then maybe you should use that event as a way to get your rifts done since the players who are committing for their top placement is an issue for you.

I won't disregard that players do be cheesing but that is perfectly okay when it's a competitive thing that they are cheesing for. In your right mind you cannot tell me that someone trying to win the game for a #1 stop is not a good enough reason to play a little cheap, like I don't even blame them if they are really trying to get that spot. Like imagine you see that you are in the same bracket as like some big streamer who you know will smoke you in mechanical skill, well then uh, I'm gonna recommend that the not as good player who still wants the reward to do whatever it is they can to get it. Cheap or not, during the top dog event you should have already seen that coming. It's a competitive event, of course people are gonna be playing it competitively. Just play rifts during that time

Also agent smith will be 3,000 fighter currency just like the other cast. The point is to reward the players who actually put in the time to play the game, you will be able to get agent smith later as a new character will be able to be unlocked from rifts. However the point of getting a character from rifts is to reward the players with early access to the character for playing rift. The key word that was in the promotion is early access meaning he will come later for everyone

Smaller characters should actually be smaller characters
Bigger characters should actually look like bigger characters (besides iron giant who actually looks big with the new character models)
Cpus should be skilled based and not just due more DMG/take less DMG (I'm technically fine with it tho because it's not that bad, you can still just be super skilled and not get hit once so the increase DMG don't matter that much but I would like smarter cpus but I don't necessarily need that)

Ideas for content? Idk maybe bring stocks in game modes which would add a decent amount of content bc RN we only have ring outs

I had to play the rifts with low level gems and did most of them myself until I had level 7 gems which I could still beat everything aside from reflect DMG 2v1 fight by myself

You should really just make sure you are getting all the nodes for rifts in the lower levels as it will give you all the XP you need

But for a casual I recommend you get another casual teammate and then y'all will have no problem

Just let your other casual friend fight with his infinite lives while you don't get killed if it's really too hard

I promise you that your teammate does not need to be cracked to help you win rifts

After mid season patch, i felt the game's performance became worst than before from my experience
Because until now, i've played a lot solo whether in 1s and 2s, but i got desync issue a lot than usual (before mid season patch), i'm sure if i play with friend whether in pvp and rift, i'll still get desync, even crashing and laggy
I tried couple times like restart the game, even reinstall it. But it still happened.

And few days ago, even i played with a player with same region (asia), i still got desync
Now i've no clue, for the sake of the game, i can only hope that this issue can be fixed ASAP
i dunno what will happen if you release ranked mode while issues still exist
Recently i always stuck at aunthetic loading, it made me to restart the game like 3 times until i'm into the main menu

I'll keep report this until season 2 if this is still happens, to ensure this feedback/report keep getting noticed and get fixed asap

What the game needs to do is stop removing features bro. Like you had a lot of things taken out of the official launch for no reason. Player counts has literally been dropping due to returning players not wanting to play a game that isn't even as good as the game they had played before.

Then with new players, due to the way they took out gold and replaced it with fighter currency caused for new players to be practically unable to even play the game as they need to spend about 5-70hrs just trying to unlock their first character depending on the player

In the beta, every new player got exactly enough gold to buy a single character without even needing to play the game. Their is no reason that shouldn't be the same for launch but instead it's not, you get 0 currency at start so new users just get screwed

Then back to returning players, most of the returning players has already left as when the game launched we seen that on steam alone it had over 150k players day 1

But what happened? All those returning players who was in that 150k pull frame left the game due to it not only straight up looking worse when you play the game because the camera is way more zoomed in then it should be, but the game is also 20% slower which caused old players to dislike it as it's not even the same game that they remember, and they don't even have a way to flex your characters level among other forms of flexing that returning players should be able to do. At least now we get DMG stats again which only took a freaking month of post launch for content we had day 1 beta

Yes, it's possible. As a player who lost his beta account and had to start completely fresh I have been able to get 8 characters with fighter currency. However, you really have to grind a lot to get that FC

I'll agree that getting the first character can be completed kinda nicely, uh, not every new player is gonna be a returning player that lost their account. So for some new players, Getting that first 3k can be a pain outside of getting your account leveled up.

Also you not not given much for login. I can't still see the banana guard login but the login bonus that is still visible only gave a total of 800 fighting currency which is not acceptable

However if the player could level up the account you could actually get a character pretty fast, you only need to get to level 9

As if I remember correctly on both level 5 & 9 the player is rewarded with 1.5k fighter currency. Which that is amazing, it's super amazing that we get rewarded in that way. But let's not act like you just get 1 level pur match. Realisticly it is probably gonna take you a couple hours to get your account leveled up.

For missions I suppose it's possible for new players to finish those and quickly get their first character but- the new player would have to figure out what each mission is asking, they might struggle with some missions etc etc and could still end up taking a little bit of time. Which that is fine, the missions should keep people engaged for as long as possible

But in comparison to the beta where gold was much easier to come by. I mean it's just a L all around because these problems of new players not having fun trying to unlock characters just didn't exist.

People were able to easily acquire enough gold just by playing matches, no need to level up, no need to finish mission, no, you got gold for finishing a match which was incredible

Allow us to switch characters, at least after a fair 2 out of 3. I don't want to replay the same match 7 times with a guy, but if he keeps challenging we should be able to switch it up.

Slow down on the copy/paste joker and jason skins and focus on actual new characters/content.

rifts shouldn't be the focus of your game. It's the pvp and free for all that makes it. A bunch of scrolling text and fighting bots is tedious. Half the time the cutscenes can't even load properly, so it's just a text driven 'story'.

I would argue that the devs have been fairly open with the players since day one and have made positive changes here and there when heavily requested. A lot of this feels like higher ups wanting more pocket change via 'microtransactions'. A joker skin with a jason mask slapped on top is not worth near 20+$, and that isn't a "MICRO" transaction at all. Greedy and offputting.

yeah but look at it from the players prespective right, apart from skins, you have some characters that are indeed broken. for example. iron giant is impossible to kill. you cant combo him without getting shocked mid combo. which is stupid imo. then look at superman. he has way too many armor. like why does he need that many. then look at tom and jerry (i was a tom and jerry main) you can literally loop to death which is stupid. then we got steven who is broken af with his nair spam which is totally unavoidable and not possible to counter unless a projectile. then look at rick jab. his jab has a longer range than finns sword which makes no sensee at all. considering finn sword is clearly longer than ricks jab which is stupid and logic makes no sensee in this situation. then we got arya with her launch attack which is fast, deadly and covers half of the stage and the worse part is you cant react to it. then finally you got bunch of top tier characters such as a joker or harley and harley is a air character and you cant punish her dair and they can always spam the kick in the air into a loop which is horrendous imo. so in fairness this has a problem for months and the devs dont give af because they want money them greedy mfs

You could get the skins, if you did 20+ rifts to get an adventure time matrix skin. I'm pretty sure the summer event also had one or two missions that were behind paywalls/excessive grinds. You are right that they could still be earned without completing EVERY mission, and I did. Still, some people have jobs/lives that don't allow them 2+ hours on multiversus a day. They really need to tone down the "PLZ COME BACK" events. "Keep it rollin' Doc" is straight laughable at this point. They had to redo the welcome back daily login challenge since it was so criticized since everybody missed out on summer supes, and then they just do ANOTHER daily log in event? desperate.

Garnet's perk that allows her Rocket Fists to create her marker wherever they land can result in extremely cheesy KOs at any percent with her Gem Dash if they land in the blast zone. banana guard down specials, air and ground, are both really bad. to the point of never being used. air down special is near impossible to use in any game. It is slow, leaves you vulnerable, is incredibly easy to be hit out of, and you need to land fairly close to an enemy. ground down special you need to be right on someone to actually hit with it, especially smaller characters where it only works if you are right next to them and facing away from them. not to mention ground down special whiff has a very long animation lock that can't be cancelled at all. if you do manage to hit the entire chain for ground down special it is only doing the same damage as a forward air, maybe 1 point more?, makes no sense. doesn't have to do a ton of damage to be good but needs to serve some sort of purpose when it requires a major commitment, can be easily punished, and is hard to hit (e.g. jigglypuff rest in smash)
