The limited skins that add minimal parts to the base design of a fighter should be in a submenu for the main fighter skin, this would also allow for those skins to be released for other skin alt characters such as Fern or Mad Love Harley Quinn, all working without cluttering the character select screen.

Could be as easy as < and > or ^ and v indicators on the main skin's icon and it being tied to the d-pad for controllers to toggle left and right minimal variants for that base skin. This would work for the colour variations on Summer Harley and Supermans skins too.

I've always felt like $20 should be exactly that. A SPECIAL skin. Like TBWL Joker is the 'beginning of the games life' version of a $20 skin. But then I think back to that LoL skin for Udyr, the one with special effects for each form. Or the Zombie Brand skin, also from LoL, which included new voice lines, new particle effects, a special recall animation, his 'walking/running' animation was unique. It was SPECIAL. MVS has access to SO MANY properties that they could pull from, and from a marketing standpoint? It could be the Fortnite of platform fighters. It already kind of wants to be, what with Shark Week being a summer crossover. But the primary issue is that we don't want them to JUST give us cool cosmetics. We want them them to make sure the game is playable, is fun, is worth our time. THEN, AND ONLY THEN can they implement one of a kind cosmetics.

The respawn invincibility frames suck when you instantly lose them when you throw out an attack to try and make a comeback. Hell, sometimes I don't even spawn in with invincibility frames, especially against Bugs and Wonder Woman when I need them most. There should be like a set time for invincibility frames without losing them on attack.

Harley is a pretty powerful character right now, but her Prank Shot Side Special is really bad and her Smooth Moves is pointless as a result. I imagine it's very possible you're going to be handing out some Nerfs to Harley soon, but in tandem to those nerfs please consider a buff to her very poor Side Special.

Harley's Prank Shot does an insignificant amount of damage if it hits an enemy, and it has a HUGE vulnerability window before it fires. It's really hard to hit with because it's so easy for enemies to either jump away or just hit you, and the perk that makes you briefly invulnerable while doing this should honestly just be a base part of this move without a perk because the whole attack looks like a dodge and it's just not worth sacrificing one of the two other much better perks for it.

So I have 2 suggestions for buffs/changes to make the Prank Shot a more viable Special attack:
1. Make the Smooth Moves perk a default part of the attack. The whole point of the move is that it's a side dodge surprise attack, I think it should work as a dodge by default. While this perk makes this attack more useful, it's simply not worth wasting a perk slot on because the other 2 perks are just so much more useful.
2. Make a new Prank Shot perk: Sucker Punch! This perk would apply the Stun similar to Bugs Charmed attack to enemies hit with the Prank Shot. This would open up this weapon to punishing inattentive players by giving Harley a window to get in a free attack on them, while her attack itself remains pretty slow and easy to punish. This perk would make the Side Special a high risk high reward weapon, and would be a perk you would actually consider over the other 2 perks. It also makes sense that a surprise boxing glove projectile would have a stunning effect on an enemy. As a visual indicator you could make the glove slightly bigger too.

Alternatively if that's too much work:
1. Raise the projectile damage
2. Make the attack faster and less easy to punish

Lebron is a bruiser and has two modes
With ball and no ball
Obviously he wants his ball but constantly has to risk it being given up
However it take a single hit to get it back also and they can be put down where it's easy to pick up and denies part of the arena
If tom loses jerry he loses out on pretty much all of his best kill moves until jerry comes back
So tom will want to keep jerry safe, not give it up constantly, as that will deny a lot of map control
Lebron constantly wants to juggle 2-3 basketballs and not just give them all up. Only a beginner lebron will be without a ball for a long time
Tom has only 1 jerry to keep safe and if he loses that, theres not much he can do
Lebron balls dont need a buff

I was testing some projectile parries with Jason and noticed that, probably due to his neutral dodge animation retracting his body, parrying frontal attacks has an incredibly strict timing to it and its far far harder to accomplish compared to attacks from behind.
Tried it with LeBron and Reindog in the lab spamming projectiles and parrying them frontally is insanely hard compared to doing it from behind.

For example, like how if you do a difficulty 3 heist in Payday 2, you get the achievements for doing that heist on Difficulty 1, 2, and 3.

Weeklies are bad, but for me events that REQUIRE characters/skins to complete missions are even worse (as they are time limited). It's just a Cashgrab through FOMO. All the previous events were torelable at least as missions were more general, i managed to get the last reward. On the other hand, the summer one straight up required CERTAIN skin (on Arya for example), and even though i completed all not-p2w missions was unable to finish it. WB is likely responsible for the greed and pushing release before it was done but pfg is responsible for the constant bugs and poor hitboxes that have had issues the entire time throughout beta and full release

I think the main issue just comes from trying to update the game so fast... I mean, I remember one of the trailers said they were adding a character ONCE EVERY WEEK... that's just ridiculously unrealistic standards, considering it takes a smash character MONTHS to have a trailer.

Yeah that's obviously way too much, but right now I feel like we've gotten way too little content: agent Smith isn't a "new" character so to say as he has been teased since the season start with the event and there is only one new map (even tho variants should be easier to make and there are several variants already in the game) with the new game modes being lackluster and the rifts likely being 80% copy paste work, the only thing left is balancing (which should not be all that is left of a huge patch)

Another thing though is that I think pfg is relying too heavily on the community, which as a Smash player, I know can be VERY biased. Way back in the beta, Taz's side special was nerfed to the ground... which was kinda disappointing cause people were getting upset about his "braindead gameplay"

But I was just thinking, shouldn't that be the gold standard for playing Taz? I don't want to think and do complex stuff with a character that doesn't think to begin with... I expect Taz to be easy to play!
