Weird criticism, but I wish the perks did more to change your playstyle. All of the perks are things like "you deal more damage in x condition." The closest to being good options that aren't technically number buffs are the armor break perks, but those are only useful in specific matchups if you play a character that has trouble dealing with armor. Airwalker is interesting, but too expensive and risky for the vast majority of the cast to consider. I just want the best perks to be something other than boring numbers changes.

I took off my overpowered gems for the treasure mission and it didn’t let me and I had to do this mission without somehow ko’ing banana guard. It’s horrible. This mission is terrible.

Since the newest update for MVS on the Stream Deck, the Steam Payment browser crashes when opened by MVS.

It's happening to both me (on my Steam Deck) and for my partner (on her Steam Deck.)

What I was complaining about is that BOTH portals spawn, and the game still doesn't teleport me and I die at the position of my first portal. That is 100% busted and being told "nah you're wrong the portals work fine" is beyond annoying

I really wish balancing decisions don’t just boil down to, let’s make this character feel awful to pilot, as opposed to making meaningful adjustments that don’t jeopardize gameplay feel.

Idc if a character is bottom tier or I’m not winning. I love losing to learn. However no matter if I win or lose, if you just stack tons of end lag and start up on moves to a game that already slowed down from the beta, you get what feels like playing in sludge or syrup. This is most apparent when playing Harley (who also has bugs related to taunts). I would love to see her nerfed, even as a main of her. However not at the expense of her feeling clunky. Creativity and freedom of gameplay is stripped as many of the core tools used for expression have been legitimately destroyed. There must be other ways. Again I’m all for a nerf. Balance be damned.

I fear the same for Wonder Woman and Joker. Say what you will about their viability, but no one is winning next patch if their method is to, “make them feel slow and clunky”. They should be toned down, absolutely. However with this track record, we probably will expect more start up and end lag as opposed to just whiff lag or other means of meaningful and dynamic adjustment.

Balance and game feel are separate things that while they influence each other, don’t need to conflict.

The input buffer also is not helping in this regard.

Been thinking about this and didn’t know where to post. I’m passionate for this games success, but even with low expectations and patience, I still find myself disappointed.

I hope this game can find ways to dramatically improve, rather than 2 steps forward 1 step back.

This, I was always of the opinion that banana guard would be the standard other characters would rise to meet. He has disjointed hit boxes so tagging each other doesn't happen, he's mobile but is predictable and his speed feels manageable. MVS to me is meant to be fun. Something to do by completing missions, getting lost in the dialogue and just… well pressing stuff. Especially with a friend, just messing around with fun comps. I love winning and losing I’m ngl cuz I have no comp expectations for myself compared to other titles.

But now that’s in jeopardy. You ruin the “feel” and there is no way to fix it. No labbing, or grinding will ever fix that.

Is it just me or is Chellenge for the Best event totally a s s? Not only is it RNG who ends up in your bracket but you are not properly rewarded as how much PD you get ends up RNG as well (the lowest I got for a win is 8 and it was long/difficult match -_-).

And back to the ppl in my bracket, top guy closes in 40k points after 2 days. His tempo at the beginning even made me unsure if he uses some glitch or sth (rose like 6k in a matter of 30min), but nontheless to an adult that has other responsibilites than just playing the game it is impossible to get #1 no matter how good you are the game (unless you get ppl that dont play the game at all in your bracket),
And if somebody even said "just win 100% of your matches and you get points faster" that is also not true as instead of point bonus for a winstreak (which woud be quite logical) there is a point fall off (at least for what I get when I win couple matches in a row).

FIX: Just make the bronze/silve/gold brackets fixed aka from 5k points u get bronze, from 10k u get silver and 15k for gold. Also PD should be adjusted so it makes more sense.
I doubt any of this would be implemented at any point, tho, as from what i see a lot of features of this game are straight up designed to waste players' time and just farm player count and other statistics.

PS. Character points should be earned per match not just every 5 character levels and in small amounts too. Thats just scummy and straight up unfair.
What i noticed is that if the game is good and has fair, non-agressive monetization, (unlike MVs btw), people buy random sh*t just to support the devs (example DRG). And why i wrote such a long rant is exactly because I think that this game has amazing potential, but is currently ruined be stacks upon stacks of stupid/greedy decisions.

Probably not the right channel to post this, but this bug has been affecting me for a good few days now. Whenever I load up the game to get in a few rounds with Harley Quinn, I go to her page in the fighters tab to find ALL of her emotes unequipped and turning into a grey Shaggy with a question mark. Even after I reequip them, I can't even use them in game! Though from what I've tested, they strangely still work in Training and Rifts.
