UI Issue | Rift Difficulities

While it is easist to setup the Difficulty Select in Rifts to show all 5 possibile Difficulties, Player First Games, it is confusing players for the Rifts with only 4 Difficulties not to have the abstant one Greyed Out like most other video games do to indicate something that's not really there.

While the individual Difficulty descriptions clear this up, if you've looked in the various channels of this Discord Server, you will see people do not instinctively do so and are wondering why the 5 Difficulty has not conditions listed for being made available. The word "Unavailable" is not clear. Remove button, grey it out, or change to say "SKIPPED" or something far more clear. Unavailable is meaningless when Loonetic is locked for another month in all Rifts.

I’m an older player that was a big fan of content delivery during the original beta.

I’m feeling discouraged from continuing to play Multiversus because earning event content currently places a demand on farming daily engagement.

It feels like an outdated mobile game monetization model.

Many current fighting games cater to an older audience that may only be free 2-3 days a week to play. Those battle passes and event rewards can be achieved by spending time playing 2-3 weekends a month as opposed to nearly every day.

‼️Why do we have a “sweetspot”? It doesn’t do any extra damage. It actually does less. Finn “sweetspot” on his in air side special does 5 damage. Without hitting the “sweetspot” it’s 6 damage. There’s no extra knock back on the “sweetspot” either. You get more knock back from the non “sweetspot”. So in all it’s pointless you even be mentioned. ‼️

Please consider changing the daily mission of "3 wins in PvP" to just a number of games. I wouldn't mind myself if the number increased to 5 or even more about it. I am pretty sure people might look at the current daily with disdain and not even do it, I know I do, after doing the other ones through the Daily Rewards on Rifts.

The current daily rises apathy/bad vibes when it doesn't go well. Even if BP calculations show that this one might not be needed at all with Event BP support, most won't take it into account and leave with a bad taste their session, compounded with other game issues might contribute to player dropout, which this game is reaching Brawlhalla numbers in Steam.

You should try keeping casual players happier and more willing to log in and participate on their own terms. On a similar note, give people leeway with Events and let them not have to 100% attend it.

Please add an offline mode. The game being always online guarantees the game will be unplayable when Warner Bros decides to pull the plug. Y’all should make it so that when after a rift you don’t default to highlight some mission on the map and instead to the one you just did. This happens with already cleared stages.

Also I’d say adjust the difficulty scaling for crushing and above, it is really obscene and I think could be fixed by changing the gem leveling. Also, letting you change the level of the gems so it’s easier to do older stages would be terrific

Its tough to say at the moment but I think the game is heading in a downwards direction. With the game being so much slower it punishes new and old players. The countless balancing issues with some characters being too strong and others being unplayable. Not to mention the monetization being pushed so hard and all that for the battle pass to be the slowest grind in any game I have ever played. Features from the beta not returning like seeing stats or being able to try characters in training mode as well as the ui being much uglier in my opinion. It makes no sense to have events for rewards if we have to pay to get any decent progress towards the event. We might as well pay for the rewards themselves in the shop at that point.

This game really screws new player base n you can't and how the Events n Contents is So Tight. Like there are 2 options you could do:

1. Keep the limited time modes n Events until End Of Season (exsept the medal toast leagues those can stay Limited) this way it gives all players who haven't played n a bit have a chance to grind n have fun with it before season over.

2. Keep the limited modes n Events but you have to Complete by the end of the week, But NOT everyday, You have a Week or whatever the event n that's it .. no XP holding u back

I loved the game in beta, otherwise I wouldn't have dropped $100 on the founder pack to support the game. And I WANT to enjoy the game now that it released, but I haven't been able to for two weeks. I play on xbox and they still haven't fixed it for us. They took away some of my characters despite me spending my character unlock tokens on them and those tokens are still missing. They gave me the most basic legacy rewards for the gold I had in beta despite my power inside badge showing I had more than enough for the maxed out versions. They dropped the top dog event while xbox is still broken, giving us no chance to compete. I'm missing tons of cosmetics that I bought or unlocked in beta. They removed all the xp boosters I saved from beta, despite those being rewards in a battlepass we paid for. Emailing support for any of the missing stuff only comes back with the most useless scripted reply about how I need to make sure I'm on the correct account because on their end they see nothing missing. It's a total joke. Obviously what I want most is for everything to get resolved. But saying "the more I play this game the more I hope it dies" just means I am so unbelievably sick of this game in the current state it's in, and if things aren't going to change then it needs to die. When an animal you love gets sick, you want it to get better, but sometimes it's just best to put it down.

Okay, i just finally got a chance to play this game again, and all i can say is wdf, why is it so slow just to do like anything! I kartwheel dodge with Harley she just stands there for like 1 second then does it + it is hard to chain them. I used to be able to kartwheel forward then reverse it, but now im stuck in the forward animation. WW Training event was cool. Rewards for leveling up fighters should always feel that way. It gives us more incentive to play.

Daily Rewards should be available for each Rift difficulty. Meaning I should be able to get the daily reward for the same level on each different difficulty. That way, players who have completed more rifts get more rewards. Right now, you can only collect one daily reward per level per rift.

her lasso of truth was never why she was op. it was good for ledge gaurding but what makes her op is the fact that he side special or any of the shield bash attacks beat every attack in the game which is okay but the fact that you can out play her and bait her to use the shield and she still has super armor on top of the shield that blocks and beats everything is op cuz she can spam it and be safe not even mentioning her crazy kill potential on top of her crazy defense. she can easy cheese early kills off the top sometimes better than people made for it like joker.

Tbh I think the big issue is how inconsistent everything is, some characters have disjointed hit boxes for attacks some don't, some have an internal hitbox some don't, some weapons count as limbs some don't, some slow attacks do good damage some don't.

well yeah in this u cant shorthop without using half ur stamina so pursuit has to be done almost strictly on the ground or through falling aerials which are much slower

i think the reason they slowedd down the game is cuz its easier to make a better netcode with bigger slower characters. if everyone is fast and small and someone lags the desync is alot more. and the desync was really bad in beta

Some feedback for PFG: y'all are doing great. I am super digging the game (I fell off of the beta around November 2022 due to a combination of nerfs and not being happy with netcode/hitboxes). The game is feeling so much better now. Apparently I'm in the minority, but I actually kinda dig the zoomed in camera, and I don't mind the speed being a bit slower (the changes to dodge and other major systems make the gameplay net out at being more fun). There are definitely some rough edges though: I fairly frequently have issues with servers when playing 2v2s with a friend (but 1v1s are always fantastic) and some of the event timing issues can be annoying, but it seems like you're picking up on that as evidenced by the latest update post. Looking forward to seeing these rough edges get ironed out so I can keep enjoying the excellent gameplay.

@sturdy bone Sorry to disturb you but is it possible to pass on to the devs to change the Top Dog event ASAP. Currently, you only get experience from the first game, meaning that people who know this information and want to get first place no longer rematch anyone. This also has the side effect of people not trying to win since you get EXP regardless of win or loss. Personally, I have already ran into a person running off the stage at 0, presumably to farm EXP for the event. Everything outside of the literal gameplay is up for debate, but this event quite LITERALLY has a direct negative impact on the gameplay itself.
