Every year on the open beta launch date gold should be brought back so beta players have a very limited time to get the max upgrade of the foretold champion profile banner and other banners that require gold to upgrade. (Maybe like a week)

• Netcode, it's a gamble if you're actually gonna rubberband or be disconnected, so much for rollback netcode
• Movement, it's sluggish, it's not even fun anymore
• Dodge bar, it's a good change but yet it kills the fun of it, even such as moving and you're at risk of everything, if you don't use dodge to move you're stuck being a slug
• Hitboxes, they're too big or too small, they are not fixed
• Maps are too small for the bigger character sizes
• Currency revamp is so stupid but I understand it
• Characters not being unlocked in training makes no sense
• The way the dodging works now is horrible
• The new sizes and movement really kills the game, it lost the unique-ness
• Not being able to swap characters after 1 match before rematching is so bad it's hilarious
• Where's ranked? Isn't this supposed to be launch?
• How we supposed to get Agent Smith when most rifts aren't even open? 💀
• The way to get new characters is hilariously horrible and super time consuming, same with bp
• Why do we need input delay? I know there's rollback netcode but that doesn't mean there's input delay that noticeable

I can't believe that Warner Bros is so impossibly narrow minded and doesn't give their decades old franchises the respect, time and finance resources they deserve. Firstly, the main issue is the fact for certain characters like bugs bunny, black Adam etc; they have abilities that do have cool downs.

However for characters like WW, shaggy, etc; they have absolutely no cooldowns for certain abilities and can spam the same ones over and over.

I don’t understand this change because this went from speed fest to spam fest. I get the whole motive is to balance the game, but actually balance it the correct way.

Stop catering characters that makes it impossible to close gaps .

Would be nice if battle pass was a static exp per level none of this creeping scaling stuff. Battlepass should also take a fraction of the time to finish. If you expect people to level BP as a daily sort of ordeal without anyway to store future quests to do it on say every weekend, customers will have 0 incentive to ever consider buying the battlepass for rewards they know they will not be able to earn. Every one is doing a battlepass and thus you are hedging your bets in expecting people will choose to commit their time and money only on your game while there are more staple games out there. I suggest you either go the Fortnite route of gradually adding quests that do not expire until the end of the season instead of these daily/weeklys or go the BP route where you buy the BP and last until you unlock all the rewards. If you must keep your old system make it so people joining 3/4 of the season could still finish the BP, and no buying levels do not count.

Velma's down charge attack launches them the complete opposite direction from how it looks visually but I wasn't sure if that was for some reason intentional.

Nicest way possible, make it so all characters have hitboxes that match their animations, or don't play favorites with the characters' hitboxes.

In example- I just got interrupted by Finn through my third jab as Steven. Diamond animation came out and everything. Finn, the character with a sword, whose hitboxes cover his entire body for nearly every attack. But Steven's hitboxes mostly only cover exactly where he's swinging. Same thing with characters like Harley and Banana Guard. But other characters have next to no hitbox to cover their hurtboxes. It requires a massive skill difference on just spacing alone with very arbitrary characters that don't match the archetype of a character that should have those kinds of hitboxes.

This isn't an insinuation that those characters are inherently more broken, but if a character like Finn plays with hitboxes like Shaggy, then the concept of him being a swordie archetype is just immediately thrown out.
And if a character like Steven plays with hitboxes that a swordie should have, then the concept of him being a brawler archetype is again immediately thrown out.

Guess this is the best place for feedback? Open beta player whos been playing since full release, I definitely echo the slowness sentiment that's been echo'd everywhere. I'm glad it's being looked at, cause i think the game would benefit from some more speed in battles. The main issues I have currently are with the progression system. I'm fine with characters being locked behind "gameplay" even though it does take forever to get a new one. My biggest issue with locking characters behind gameplay is requiring certain characters for missions that a player can't do. I currently have 3 missions, one being my last weekly, that I can't possibly complete without spending real money on the game. It seems kinda predatory to require spending money to complete weekly/event missions, and I hope that at least this can be changed to only include characters that are free/owned. Hope this is changed, cause if i had more to grind for I'd definitely play. Just feels like after 20 minutes of gameplay a day there's no reason to keep going, especially since ranked isn't out.

Thing about Jason attack speed is that if you go too far making him faster he'd snap the game in another way. He's made for one hit launching, if your partner can hold down the fort it's all over.

Speed boost on:

Scoop and Slice (Nair)
Sweet Dreams (Down Special); also make the whiff animation much faster
Down and Out (Down air Special)

The End Frames of Myst Step should have some Dodge frames: I get that Jason should be punished for abusing it, but come on, what's the point of the Teleports Behind You perk if it's really just "Give the enemy a free hit".

Unstopable Rage either needs to lose the cool down or the Health Penalty, because yes, Grey Health (that will instantly vanish) is good, boosted damage is good, knock back immunity good, but the fact that it makes all his moves faster is so good id trade all the rest of its bonuses just to make it a "5-10 seconds of fast attacks" power. The fact that it ends after one attack and ends if you lose grey health makes it kinda pointless

What sucks is that even though the tanks are tanks, their moves don’t always mean they beat other characters. I see so many of my moves as tanks be nullified or straight out don’t hit, despite literally touching them, against light characters just doing a jab.

 I personally would like certain moves to have more priority depending on class. I think it would give more dynamic between the classes with having to look out for heavy moves and punish them with certain moves prioritized to take advantage of miss (like the normal lighter and  quicker attacks), or defend themselves with certain moves designed to protect against them (like some characters heavier and slower attacks).

 But I haven’t thought too hard on if it would actually work. It’s just an idea.

Yeah there’s issues there but it’s a FREE game and we should be grateful for that alone. It’s inevitable that it’s going to have that problem. Every currency system inherently has that issue and there’s no sense in actually crying over it. As sad as it sounds. It does help support running the game and I’m willing as long as the skins and stuff are good/worth it

A Jadon issue I have is his air up A doesn’t hit someone when they’re above you, but slightly to the side. I missed so many up A airs several in a row because they have to hit the exact blade or something. Why not have it just hit above?

am i the only one who thinks fighter currency should be easier to get along side lvl up in the battle pass. i also think that the perk system is a lil weird and stupid should be easier to get the perk currency whether it's leveling up a character easier who you get it by js playing the game i also think that by js playing the game after every match depending on how good i do i should get a set amount of fighter currency, bp exp and perk currency i also think some character's need some nerfs and reworks for example Velma needs a buff to get her playable and banana guard needs a nerf to his side special the UI also needs a change to be less overwhelming, to me it feels more like a moblie game. I think the beta did a wonderful job with the UI even if it was a little wonky it was still better than this moblie UI. The speed of the game should also be slightly faster and character models smaller hit boxes need to be adjusted along side the parrying window needs to be 1-5 frames longer than what it is right now.

Tom and Jerry are redundant/f tier now. If you use Tom and Jerry, and face characters like wonder woman, gizmo or finn, say goodbye to winning. Real my daily mission is to play 5 but I can’t without disconnecting. Maps with hazards are much worse like the mall. Frame rate doesn’t exist on that if you manage to last in the game longer than a minute

can we talk about how the game explains practically nothing? the rift is a perfect example. 1.you can only get gems from a rift that is the same color (ex: green/digital gems can only be obtained from digital rifts) but it does not say that anywhere and most people including me would over look initially that the rift even has a color. 2. the description of multiple gems say u gain something that is explained literally no where, some stuff i couldnt even find on google (ex: gem payback armature: on respawn gain armature for 8 seconds.... what is armature?? no answer on google, the wiki, in game, etc) so how do i know if this is good and other gems do the same thing with character abilities that you would never know unless you play or researched that character which for new or casual players is unlikely. can yall like get better at explaining stuff. not saying to copy them but the game dead by daylight is a perfect example every single time they mention an ability or perk or whatever they add a short description of it at the bottom so you know what it is.
stuff ive seen that are not explained. armature, rage/enraged, the gem "taunt after KO: taunt after enemy ringout for a damage boost" how much is the damage boost??, shock and electrified whats the difference between them, any of the elements like bubble, confetti, ice, tasty, as seen in the gem "i would grab the wrong umbrella", any gem that includes a characters ability in it like the ones for when you dodge, and theres probably more i forgot but i think this is plent for now. sorry for the rant its justt annoying having to google everything that isnt explained and even still probably not finding the answer

Armature seems to make you spawn with Dexter's robot hands.

Considering rift 4, Digital Terror, shows a picture of Dexter's Lab, it's likely this is something that Dexter can do when he gets added, so it's not in the glossary, and the gem is a preview.

ur gems increase ur defence and damage thats what makes the higher difficulty rifts harder. play more of the lower difficulty ones to get higher level gems then try again

Like 7 bot games in a row, they just stand around walking back and forth or standing in place. I'm not sure why it keeps putting me in bot games, but I wish there was a way to disable it ever happening.

Zinwrath pretty sure they have a secret skill system on unranked. I noticed after like 20-30 perfects in a row I started getting really good players. While my wife gets tons of bots. I've never seen a bot after my first bot match in pvp again.

Though I agree I think it should be an option. But both ways. Choose only bots, only people, or default. As my wife wishes she only had to fight bots, as people curb stomp her.

@copper gust This is why I have not bought anything yet. Durring beta I whaled and bought everything. But now I can't get premium pass, I have a bunch of missing cosmetics, and they refuse to fix it or talk to me (only generic you need to log in replies).

I actually originally planned to buy everything at launch but because of insanely bad customer support I have bought nothing.

From playing with jason and banana guard compared to the original base cast, it really seems like jason (and maybe banana but mostly jason) are not good enough or they were made with the new engine in mind, seeing as how slow jason is or maybe that because hes a bruiser, and calling him one is better since he really isnt a tank, most of his moves can easily get punished, along with his really long endlag in some moves. And it really doesnt help that hes slower than basically every character except for iron giant, while every other character is way faster in comparison

Especially some of the original cast, they seem way too fast in the new engine, like they havent been modified or changed in any way to fit it, it can really be seen when fighting/ playing against a steven or T&J

And some characters can even do an infinite on jason, since for some reason its nearly impossible to di or dodge out of some moves

Hell even some characters just have an infinite on anyone because of that
