To help potentially fix arya situation, what if you make it so she follows the direction the opponents kbi goes, but she can only go a certain distance in that direction. If a character was at too high %, they could get knocked too far away from the follow up. This would make combos more possible and keep the idea of early % kills but make them a bit harder as the % gets higher (so you can't just combo spam the whole game)

I really dislike how frames buffer in 2v2; I can dodge through an attack and normally would do it just fine, but if my teammate gets hit by the same attack I will also get hit by it because the dodge frames don't seem to buffer which leads to an impossible-to-dodge attack
Taz needs to be patched. He spams the tornado attack way too much while fighting a.i, the move doesn't even seem to have a cooldown and it has too much power.
I think you should be able to set your banners and ringout effects to certain characters in the collection. I like to set them to be in theme with the character I'm playing (I.E., have the gossamer ringout and merry melodies banner when I'm playing Taz, but the green lantern ringout and daily planet banner when playing Superman) but it's annoying switching everytime I switch my character. I think that you should just equip them on your character so that you don't have to keep switching. Adding this would make the unlockables much more appealing and less tedious in my opinion.

some moves you can break trough armor and damage it. some you only break and not damage. if you used a move that only breaks you will get hit, if you use a move that breaks through then you don't get hit
I think it's less about a buffer and more that when an ally gets hit it delays the attack a bit extending the hit duration. I could be wrong but after this happening a lot this is what it looks like to me.

MMR gain/loss is too easily affected by MMR difference. I just won 8 matches and lost 1, but because I was in a party with a low MMR teammate, playing vs people with MMR slightly lower than the average of ours, I didn't gain or lose MMR and am right back to where I started, with an 88% winrate.
Game hangs/freezes on the match results screen very often now and I have to close the game. Please fix that

Attack decay should affect any wall or ground bounces immediately after the attack since if a decayed attack currently leads into the bounce, then the hitstun is no different than if the attack was not decayed. I think it would make sense if you are in the middle of a decayed knockback and you bounce, you should be able to dodge the moment you hit the surface.

Just remove extra hitstun from bouncing entirely. It's inconsistent and allows things that should not combo to be true. Also, reduce momentum when bouncing off walls to the point where spikes on stage no longer kill earlier than moves that are actually supposed to send up

I think that might only make it worse when you're being hit and juggled by two people against a wall because you wouldn't fly as far and they'd have an easier time hitting you with things to keep you there until the wall breaks if it breaks.

Obviously you can just get it done in a bot game solo, but: 1.) that serves neither the player nor the devs and 2.) a ton of folks just aren't going to do that, leaving someone stuck playing on a team with 50% perks.

i kept making videos showing how the matchmaking is unfair and doesn't work at all, so this "quick play" is absolutely random the mmr might as well not exist and the ranks are a joke because as a new player you can literally face the best player in the game on your first match

It needs to be if one teammate picks a character then you can't also pick the same one (no two of the same character). Example: I have played against 2 Iron Giants (which are already so broken and annoying to play against) and it just ruined the fun of the game. It was so annoying, something needs to be done about this.
This game has great reply ability, but it would be very nice if we got rewards past level 15/ post battle pass rewards. Like 50 or 100 gold for every level/tier would be very nice, and maybe a badge for levels to go alongside wins?

As someone who has played fighting games for 2 decades+, the state in which the game is currently going is a bit concerning to me.
While I understand the game is currently in beta status, it feels as though a lot of the recent patches are reactionary instead of waiting and seeing how things go, for people to adapt, etc.
I am truly hoping this is just a beta thing and, as such, I will be waiting until the game is fully released before I play this game again. The game just does not feel as...fun or as smooth to play and I can't quite put my finger on it.
Lastly, the netcode seems to have gotten worse. Before, the connections were perfect but now? I see teleporting of characters from players I never had an issue with.
I look forward to when this game releases officially and, at that point, will determine if this game will be for me in the long term or if I will be dropping it.

Probably not something most people talk about, but why is Free For All mode so broken? I just wanna play a stock match w my friends but you can ONLY go by time and where the sides of the stage keep shrinking. Plus you have to have 4 people. I get if thatās how they wanna do it for the public matches; but PLEASE make private matches more customizable (IE: stock free for all, 2v1/1v3 games, sides of stage not shrinking, etc)
Honestly instead of the weird dodge jump mechanic i think a chase dodge is 100% better and would function a lot better being it would feel natural unlike the dodge jump. In most situations i forget it exists or its just 2 awkward for me to use 9/10 situations a chase dodge is more useful. Good chase dodge example brawlhalla the chase dodges allow great setups and reads makes the game more fast pace (aim of this game i think) heightens the skill ceiling as well as adds more complicated strings and higher punish-ability
Batman grapple feels terrible and is useless in most situations since it is broken and could honestly just be replaced
Finn shop is from what i can tell rarely used and doesnt cause much impact in the game and hes just fine without it think he needs a different down special ability. Annoying pressing dlight and finn crouches down to pull something useless out of nowhere instead of doing an attack.
A lot of moves feel like the trajectory does make sense mostly with finn from what i've seen such as bag sending them sideways instead of remotely upwards
when i exhaust all air options why can i down special i understand with some chars like finn because of teleport but its a spike
Armor- plz give armor a cooldown or something why am i being punished for playing aggressively when superman/garnet/shaggy can play equally as aggressive free of charge.
shaggy being able to just wait you out while charged is just unfair if he kills half the chars with a charged kicked at like 90 damage and he can use it back 2 back with the 100 damage perk. A solutions is he takes x amount of damage then looses charge ect. Or he just slowly looses it overtime instead of being able to hold it forever.
last tidbit when i do an attack while on stage off the stage such as batmans down light why dont i fall off the stage and instead feel like i glitch back and forth or just float 2 feet off the stage mid slide

Itās also sadly the curse of the F2P live service model. They have to focus on releasing content and bringing in money, on top of finishing a game. As an indie game team, I really hope they can pull this off, as I want this game to succeed. But I agree, recently the game feels less polished than it did before this season, and I really hope it doesnāt get worse.

No reason Shaggy should've ever had armor on his down normal and they understood that and its gone now. Superman and Garnet are the biggest armor spam offenders. Wonder Woman is okay but Superman just has so much he can spam and get away with and then gets armor on some of those moves. Garnet its really just her jab spam its impossible to punish without a projectile. At least it has been for me. Which is why I suggested that. Numbers could easily be tweaked on how long the armor is on cooldown so if 15 seconds is too long it could be shortened to like 10 - 12. Given how this game plays i'm sure it won't stop the spam they'll just keep spamming the moves anyway but at least they won't be armored the whole time

You should try playing some of these character to understand them better, I played superman a bit so I do know a bit about him, Garnet however the jabs don't have armor, the follow up attack does and even that isn't technically true as she has one of 3 options with only the forwards follow up having armor, although with most Garnets never using either up or down follow up I'm not surprised about this...
that's part of the jab combo that's what I meant. Its the only one you ever see because it has the armor to it so they spam it. Also I'm not gonna go play superman just to understand more. I do not like superman in any form. Zero desire to play him I also don't go learning characters to understand how to beat them. If this game actually had end lag on moves like most fighting games do a lot of the spam wouldn't be possible but we got dodge canceling from almost every move and superman just so happens to also have the best dodge

Honestly I'm not sure if nerfing armor is the right call or buffing the armor break attacks, although I do agree that if anyone could use an armor nerf/rebalance it would be Supes. The reason I mentioned the Garnet bit is that she does have a vulnerable period before the follow up after the jabs, I've beaten plenty of Garnets who abuse it by using that window.

I know the reason for the profile pic question š but yeah Garnet isn't so bad it just gets annoying at times and she becomes fodder for my reason on why armor needs changes/nerfs. It gets out of hand and its super easy to abuse especially given that the attack decay is worthless if the person getting hit with a decayed move doesn't know to dodge to stop the knockback. Which is a lot of people and considering the moves can still kill I think its almost pointless. Superman has armor on almost everything and it gets frustrating especially now since my t&j dynamite just blows up hitting the floor. It was what I used to get around most of that stuff and now I can't even do that.
devs donāt know how to fix their own game
The dodge should be a counter mechanic where you could attack a little faster after successfully dodging an attack and 3 dodges, but after that a cooldown instead of dodge spamming it.

I think the devs are overlooking an aspect of this game. The saying goes āif you build it they will comeā, however I think the converse is just as valid if not maybe slightly more so.

There's something I do not understand why this is a thing in this game, but why can you NOT use Knockback Influence on moves that send straight down, it makes getting hit by these moves feel horrible since there's no control over where you get sent, and moves that send down are already pretty strong too... so why?
Teching isn't a thing in this game either so it's not like you can KBI to a wall and tech...
...I've just realized, a reason so many vortex combos are even possible is because of this, there's very little KBI on on moves that send down so your opponent stays where you want them...
If I could get the answer to a single question from the dev team it is why is there even this thing where moves that knock down have less KBI (straight down even having no KBI) in the first place
fix the goddamn servers they're terrible
new characters every 2 weeks + balancing patches every week + new modes that they announced in a small timeframe is a lot of pressure for small indie team and then there's the obvious -- the bug fixes. You might have heard the saying:

sfar as I know, it has a semi cooldown where when on cooldown it has a weaker version that comes out. So it it's still kinda spammable.
Taz' spin seems to have too much power as well. Every time he hits you with it it sends you flying. Taz in general needs improvements. Shaggy's sandwich attack and side kick needs a cooldown. Superman spams the Laser Attack too much as well.
Supes has a cooldown on lasers. Well more of an ammo mechanic but similar result of being an anti spam measure
I feel like Taz' spin is fine the problem is that his big kill moves have an issue where unless you have a projectile or big disjoint you can't contest it bc his hurtbox compared to his hitboxes is just so disproportionate
In the lab when you set enemies to forward special or forward normal, for some reason they always do the move to the right instead of trying to face the player. I could understand if they spawned to the right of you but they don't. odd
A few more things I'd like to see added to the lab are
Option to have the training bots use aerial moves normal and specials. Right now you can set them to do grounded specials and normals but not the aerial versions.
Being able to set exact damage numbers and a way to just type in an exact damage number. Having something to increase by increments of 5 is nice but there should also be a way to enter exact numbers too
Superman needs to not be able to grab people at all, it ruins everything. His flying mechanic plus that allows him to fly across the entire map and throw you out of bounds. He should not be able to grab and throw people, especially if there is no way to break out. It is ruining the gameplay experience. I have made several other posts here, superman needs to be nerfed.
Superman is fine being able to grab people, it just needs a cooldown like laser
Between this and getting hit by phantom hitboxes the game is practically impossible to play.

What happens is he will just grab someone off the edge and throw them down out of bounds, and there is nothing that person can do
And its not like you can get away from him because he can fly anywhere in the map

Does every character really need a spike?
I only really get it to work on the scooby doo stage to avoid going into a spike if the floors are open or to avoid the center it usually works for me.
Trig is cool and all (almost a must have) but I still don't see why specifically spikes take away control from the defending player

Getting rid of character specific missions just to keep the missions that can be done with Wonder Woman is getting on my nerves. If PFG HAD to get rid of them(which I didn't agree with in the first place but if people were complaining that they didn't have the characters than sure), get rid of ALL of the missions that limit character selection.
I really liked it when there were all types of character missions that forced a healthy amount of character pick variety but now EVERY DAY there's at least one WW specific mission, commonly 2, and yes usually you can do them with another character but it's the same small fraction of the cast, every single cycle. The vast majority of the cast can never complete these missions that are constantly being foisted on everyone. The lopsidedness of this pool of missions combined with the fact that there aren't a lot of dailies to begin with so they come up constantly has made the dailies significantly more grating over time.

Would it be possible to implement some type of matchmaking diversity type thing? Where you can't really run into the same character loads of time in a row, or fight two of the same character? The first one bc it gets kinda boring playing against the same characters over and over again, and the second one bc 2s against two of the same character is really frustrating. 2s works really well because characters bring different aspects to a team, but when you're fighting two of the same character, it feels a lot more cheesy and can get seriously unfun depending on the character.

Multiversus has been getting better everytime the devs nerfed a character. the game is becoming less about looping or KOing from 0%, and throwing out unpunishable attacks with big hurtboxes. every character has a chance to compete now that there is less of a defined meta though there are still really strong characters, it's not much of a problem as it was before
In literally every platform fighter, even if you don't have jumps or dodges, you're able to drift in the air. This game has that too, but it feels incredibly unnatural when you lose dodges and jumps and you just can't air drift you're character anymore
I think my point still stands, though air drifting I think is there its just nowhere near as strong as the other games.

Same for knockback influence. It's nearly non-existent if not non existent without Tazmanian Trajectory. So that perk always stays on for me

I wish this happened to me. MMR is horridly balanced with MMR difference, to the point where winning can reward 4 MMR vs some opponents and 125 MMR vs others, while losses can subtract 0,5 MMR or 30.

My opinion on gleamium on the pass has changed a bit. At first I thought with it being so cheap it didn't need any only being $3 for the first one, BUT now that's its back to being basically $10 for the gleamium but about $9.50 in actual gleamium or $7.50 i forgot. I think it should come with at least $5 worth of gleamium in the future. It doesn't have to be a complete refund but most other games do give that. Even Apex as a free to play game. Though I assume they'd like to test the waters first. Maybe once they've gotten to a stable point they'd do it or once they open the store up

The fix to superman has been obvious for a while. Take away some or all of his attacks that give him armor.
But the terrible matchmaking and slowly worsening servers already killed this games player base
They just need to severely nerf his knockback
It's hard to tell when an ability is off of cooldown without happening to look in the right place. This isn't a big deal normally but when using perks that situationally reduce cooldowns, it can be hard to take advantage of those perks because it's hard to tell the moment the abilities are recharged. It would be nice if there were noticeable and distinct sounds or something when abilities come off of cooldown. (A lot of other sounds drain out the default one)
please incentivise accepting rematches/punishing declining them, it's way harder than it needs to be to clear the play X rematches and win a best of 3 set missions because currently 9/10 matches I play never rematch

can you change it to where if morty has his down special active he can use it whenever. Because there have been so many gimes where I've had it active and it wouldve saved me but I couldnt activate it because hitstun. If reindogs neutral special doesn't either it should be changed. They don't really work as saving moves if you can't activate them when you're about to die.

Imagine you started playing this game like 3 years after it came out. There would be sooo much catching up to do, you would be so far behind on characters. It just makes it easier, and they don't have to decrease it by all that much. If a character costs 2000 now they could cost 1500 in the future, with that being as low as costs can get
It's another platformer game that's different to this one aswell. Also by the time it's been a year probably the whole roster or some part has already been completely and probably better ways to get characters. Also free players already get 3k coins to start off with.

It would be nice if there was an option to buy the entire battle pass rewards. 50 levels is a lot, and some of the rewards are cool but not everyone wants to play constantly. Adding a purchase for the battle pass would allow players to get all the rewards instantly, and would also bring more money to the devs

I have 75 hours and i stopped playing for a while because i didnt want to play round after round to level up a 50 part battle pass. There are other games that allow you to buy the battle pass. Some people want the rewards and some people want to work for them. Adding a purchase option would keep the people who want the rewards happy, and the people who want to work for the rewards can ignore the purchase. Simple as that

I feel like the air drift in this game isn't enough, been playing this game since closed alpha and it just feels off.
Also the bottom blast zone for stages need to be lowered. The whole thing can feel really closed in sometimes and having stage blast zones expanded could give you more options and opportunities to get back to stage. Like stalling while waiting for help from a teammate. Some things would probably need to be slightly reworded like Morty's up special but I'm sure that would be fixed if this were implemented

I play Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Taz, Morty. Slowly starting to play jake. None of them have good armor breaking moves. They're way too short, anyone with a braincell won't let you hit them with it, Tom and Jerry's is better IF charged, Taz has the best one i think, Bugs Bunny's is laughable with how short ranged and terrible it is at actually breaking armor, Jake's is also stupid short. Armor needs to just be removed/reworked/nerfed.

I don't remember what Reindog's Armor break is so can't really say but regardless. NONE of those will help you when you're in the air above or below an Armor spamming superman or any other character

It's your fault if it's a bad Superman. A good Superman can do the same at high levels of play. It's legitimately just a 50/50 where he gets a stock half the time
Or I try to hit above him like his upper body but get kicked. So I just wait near edge trying to bait it for a spike but it gets annoying when they have a teammate comboing me or whatever then they come in with the kick.
Even if it is a bad Superman, they nerfed Taz's tornado into the ground for less

I just sincerely dislike any one thing people can keep using and succeeding with. I get beaten by a Finn who throws gems every 2 seconds, a LeBron who for some reason has an un-dodgeable aerial attack with a gigantic hitbox when he has no ball, beating me after I beat him before that, Shaggy players will only charge rage, throw sandwiches (which doesn't consume their rage, wtf??) and then engage you while the sandwich is out, giving you barely any options, then charge again, Arya players (don't even need to explain that one), Supermen who just sit at ledge camping for grabs...

It's a pain for a Giant player, because with the recent changes to dodges (that were never mentioned in patch notes), he can't dodge moves that last longer than his I-frames
Like, if your dodge distance can't get you out of the attack's range, you just get hit, no matter what
I once fought a Superman with insane edge guarding. He would grab if I jumped over. Down air if I went to wall and flew into me if I tried to dash past him. He was good but luckily my Reindog's up air special was good for KSI reset and invincibility frames.
Counterplay becomes really freaking hard to find with that, and people get away with using moves because they just work 99% of the time
Actually Shaggy's sandwich being consumed is a perk. You don't need to consume it if you don't like the perk.

It feels like you're a little nitpicky? Not to be rude or anything but it's just the Big Sandwich is not a draining move but the Ground Wave is. Even if you are using the down special input, it's no different to throwing TNT or Ice Cubes, just a different button press.

I am extremely familiar with logic. I've enjoyed many logic puzzles, I've programmed videogames, computers, etc. I base a lot of stuff on logic constantly, so when I see two rules straight-up conflicting with each other, I know it's illogical

You just need to have the sandwich equipped when rage boosting. There's no special input to get the big sandwich like Hadouken or something. The Sandwich is just bigger as a passive effect of the rage but not a rage move in and of itself.

I played him very early on. Was a Beta Founder. Can confirm it's always been like that. The consume thing is just the perk.
A funny analogy would be giving your 2 kids 10 bucks to spend on toys. One kid comes at you, happy with his toy. Then the other kid comes along with a different toy and you say "oh, this one is special, you can also have the same one your brother got". Then the first kid asks if he can have one of those special ones, too, but you say "no, it's only special because he got it first, before he got the other toy"
Imagine how the first kid feels. He couldn't possibly have known he could get two toys with his 10 bucks if he got them in a particular order. Now, if you told him in advance, it'd be different.

The problem I have with the sandwich is that it adds onto everything else he does... while he still has rage.
Counterplay:
- Destroy the projectile. Problem: He can punish it with a rage move and you die.
- Dodge the projectile. Problem: He can punish it with a rage move and you die.
- Avoid the projectile. Problem: You go near a blast zone and risk dying really early.
- Try to knock the Shaggy away. Problem: He has armored rage moves, also, if you miss, you die.
It just puts him in a really strong advantage state, completely for free
I'm by no means saying Shaggy is unbeatable, I'm just saying that part of his kit is a little too strong, and he'd be a less frustrating character if they nerfed that and made other strategies more rewarding
Same with Aryas who only use up special up air, or Iron Giants who spam cannonball the whole match in lower levels of play, Supermen who sit at ledge, camping for minutes at a time, fishing for a grab, Velmas who do nothing but run away and use projectiles, etc.
People relying too heavily on the same 1-3 moves become a pain in the ass to fight and losing to them feels bad

So only platform fighters. I supposed platform fighters never really the "lame" playstyle. I only asked because the "lame" playstyle has existed since fighting games immemorial. With the spamming of only certain moves, etc.
This is definitely more common around low and mid level play, since high (but mostly top) level players tend to find ways around those tactics. I guess that, for me, personally, it does not really bother me since I have been playing a plethora of fighting games since 2.5 decades+.
But do you feel rewarded after beating a Shaggy only using side kicks, even though he only hits you twice the whole game?
Personally, I feel rewarded when I outplay my opponent. If my oppone t is spamming a move and I fall for it (unless this move is SOOOOO overpowered that I can not escape it, counter play, etc), it ultimately up to me to adapt. I get satisfaction from beating those type of players cause it sends a message to them that their cheap tactics do not work on me and they will have to change it up. I find it a challenge for myself
For me, it would be much less of an issue if some of these tactics didn't feel completely impossible to counterplay. Being Giant is rough with the way dodges work in the current build, as, as soon as your I-frames drop, you get hit by attacks, even if you've dodged them. This means it's 100% impossible to dodge attacks that last longer than your I-frames, unless you have enough dodge distance to leave the attack. With Giant's massive hurtbox, this isn't always the case. Some of these attacks are incredibly hard to beat, with much better frame data and disjoints than Giant has, as well
I've yet to think of anything a Giant can do about getting up special-ed continuously by another Giant
Yeah, Iron Giant either seems really good or he gets bullied EXTREMELY bad
It's almost a true combo, so none of your moves are fast enough to catch him before he gets another up special, and you can't dodge through it

She feels like she has a lot of armour to me, but I can admit I've run into her attacks far too many times, as if I expected her not to have armour that time for some reason. They could've buffed her more

I disagree heavily with the complaints about armor. It is a literal part of what makes a character a tank. So they can tank hits. I notice a lot of people NOT doing armor breaking moves in order to combat this. There is a counterplay to this but it seems people tend to forget about it. Or if they do know about it, they never bring it up. Only complaints about armor.

Since that is the whole purpose of tanks. To play around them (like how you would play around a Grappler in a 2D fighting game)
