2v2 Custom Online is very buggy. 3 PC players (2 Steam 1 Epic) + 1 Xbox Player. Unable to figure out who was on what team. Also didn't have friendly fire on, but still had hit detection. FFA worked fine with this party. Player on Xbox was no visible to PC lobby players as well, though could play when match begun.

Mostly UI display issue, Lobby for custom games still being worked on, I'd assume.

fps shouldn't be tied to input, correction fps hasn't been tied to input since decades ago in programing. the only time fps can affect input is when the whole game is suffering meaning it's not strictly an FPS problem.
Levels give you only oh so far an indicator, after a while someone can get to really high levels by just time but it doesn't mean they are still improving.

I'd love an offline mode for offline local play, for example, my college blocks all video game servers, not just online play, all online connectivity is shut down for social media, platforms and games UNLESS there's a specific exception.
It'd be nice to be able to have access to local play without the server.

It'd also be cool if local play unlocked all the characters for free, probably with no perks. Obviously you can only use them locally, not online in any capacity. Otherwise a couch play session can get a bit boring unless you buy all the characters before your friends come over. Especially since the game is marketed around being with a friend and all.

Alright so. My only gripe about the patch is how Taz was handled.

First thing being.
He does not need a cooldown on tornado anymore. Taz is a dead character. He is one of the few that is basically never played now.
He was never a good character considering all that anyone used on him was Tornado. It speaks to say that he can't kill with much else. His projectile has terrible drop off (though it was addressed) and trying to hit anything with him that wasn't tornado or up special was near impossible with the hitboxes. (Which is also being addressed I know but still gotta bring it up.) Tornado is already incredibly weak now because of how short the duration is. The thing is with it being as busted as it WAS it needed a cooldown. In its current state it doesn't need one. You're just making him even less fun to play and considering his pick rate I don't have to say it. Nobody uses him anymore. The buffs he got may be better once the hitbox changes come in but I'm pretty sure even after he's still going to be incredibly bad and nobody is going to use Taz. Except me cause I'm a fool and he's one of my favorite Looney Tunes characters.

Playing Taz (currently) is actively choosing to play hard mode/throw the game and lose. The only things he can rely on to kill or hit anyone is his forward aerial, up special, and tornado. It was obvious with all the tornado spam and people goofing off with it. Overall though I like the rest of the changes and I'm not sure if the duration of Tornado was increased but if not it needs to last a little longer or have a few more active hits I've hit people many times with the final hit only for them to fall in front of me and hit me with something instead of gerting launched.

The bots are way too difficult and playing against real people is much easier than the bots, the bots need a difficulty setting, the characters are too floaty, you get launched way too quickly and the game needs to be slowed down a bit. It plays too fast-paced. Other than that. Awesome game.

Gold generation is really slow after the initial tutorial missions making it a slog to unlock new characters. Once you've done those missions and are a high enough level that you're not leveling up every few games anymore, it takes way too long to make any real progress towards unlocks. 10-15 per game isn't enough, especially when that amount is actually getting lowered come tomorrow (there was a temporary increase during Pre-Season due to complaints, but the increase wasn't enough). Consider that you don't just need to spend gold on characters, but perks too - training every perk for a character ends up costing a lot of gold, an amount that simply isn't feasible to get in a reasonable time frame. With the rate new characters are going to be added, something needs to change. Having actual daily missions for gold would be enough, but we don't even have that despite the game literally saying that missions are for gold

The Velma nerfs were pretty silly, in my very biased opinion. Velma, as a character, is not rated high in tournament play nor is she incredibly lucrative to use compared to more aggressive juggle-champs. Most of the standard issue tier lists online put her in B or C category, already.

And yet she was given the lion's share of nerfs alongside other S-tiers. I definitively think this is a mistake, and you've drastically reduced the amount of success people will have with Velma in higher echelons of play.

You've essentially taken a character that was, for all intents and purposes, a "novice punisher" because of the way she zones and the speed of her cooldowns, her reliable recovery, and you've now made it a character with precisely no role. There are better supports for 2v2, there are better zoners for 1v1, there are better projectile spammers too, with more effective projectile knock.

The Evo literally BANNED certain characters and stages, despite their release, because of their new and experimental nature. Had IG been available, he'd have been chosen as a zoner over Velma every time. Had LB been available, despite the questionable clunkiness of his kit, I think he'd have been chosen for projectile every time over here. This only further adds credence to my point that she had use. She was an effective support and zoner. Many other champs were also used many times, to my recollection, and did not get such a considerable nerf.

And on that note, it didn't feel like the live-play Velmas I was watching were doing some sort of unbeatable, difficult to maneuver thing. There was quite a lot of trouble for Vs at evo against aggressors. She required an attentive teammate. Her seeing use was GOOD at EVO, I didn't detect it as excessive.

Additionally additionally, (hah) was her initial weight nerf before or after the EVO? She's already been hit with a considerable nerf bat once with the weight reduction, and that's fairly significant. I'm not saying she needed no nerfs anywhere.

I just feel as though she deserved a more fair shake. Her kit contains a lot of ineffective moves currently (the charge run needs a better function in battle, for instance), and none of them were touched, instead focusing on just removing any spamminess interpreted by her kit and treating that as a fix.

I look forward to the tournament usage and tier lists and what they might have to say about her after this. I speculate we're going to see a lot more Arya, and we're still going to see a ton of Bugs and Finn. The whiff recovery nerfs aren't going to suddenly make Bugs and Finn these super vulnerable people. Finn's still going to be excellent at engaging and long-game, Bugs is still going to be excellent at.. well, everything.

The appeal of this game for me has been on the decline, mainly due to the fact that the game is plagued by illogical hit-boxes/hit-registers and iffy server performance when matchmaking. It is frustrating to put effort into trying to put up a good fight, but ultimately lose because the game lags. On top of that, you are sometimes paired against down right annoying characters that become much more of a headache with lag. The main focus of the game is matchmaking, make it work. Make it enjoyable and smooth, not cancer.

Another small skin change would be to have an opinion for the Robot arm for Finn or to be able to change his sword to some of the many ones he has had throughout the show. My final suggestion for a skin would be have the Black suit Superman or maybe the Nick Cage version cause I think it would be a kinda meme skin and it would sell well.
